    I think it's the same principle, actually. Just like Japan doesn't have any distinction between the sounds "l" and "r", I'm not sure if it has any distinction between a "di" sound and a "da" one....

    Remember kids, an update is clearly the result of an annoying necro that makes us think there's an update and makes us all rage because we actually liked the story, rather then being a result of the author finally having enough free time.

    Hahaha, I wouldn't have put it that way, but he's got a point- Next time, don't necro. You should've all seen this coming, what with the sudden overload of one-shots in the Short Fic thread. MVS is in considerable demand, after all

    It may be, though, that the "da" sound sounds more like the "di" sound in "dirk" than the "ji" sound does....
