I'd still watch it over Psycho Pass 3.

Well, at least I can say it looks good. Like the focus on "lesser" characters like the C-Class or the Fletcher-Class destroyers (though tbh that's probably just episode 1 bait-and-switch, and the rest of the anime will probably focus on Javelin and co. instead).

New Demon Slayer episode is out, and I appreciate the expanded and early Kanao backstory for it, and I notice they lay the shiptease with Tanjirou on THICK as compared to the manga.

Well, Kokushibou finally dies after realizing that he has become a monster for basically nothing, and after seeing how strong the Hashira are even without his and his brother's techniques/they inherited his techniques anyway, he finally admitted that he just wanted to be like his younger brother and passes on. Shame Kokushibou doesn't see Tanjirou and the Hanafuda earrings, though. Would have added a nice bit of pathos and maybe some more answers regarding those.

So my chosen ones of this season aside of the more of 1-cour show that I'm still watching are
Konno Yuusha, Ascendance of a Bookworm, FUNA one, Otome, Choujin, Null Peta, Iruma Kun, FGO, BEASTARS, GundamBDR, Rifle in Beautiful and Psycho-Pass.

I'm stuck with FGO until the end but probably I'm going to drop half of these probably starting with Otome and Bookworm, we'll see...

So Day 1 new anime season impressions:

Ahiru no Sora: I know it's almost tradition at this point to have the MC in a sports show be bullied but come into his own on the team, but this episode was 95% bullying and 5% still shots of basketball. Not a great way to start a show.

Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo: Wow. Just Wow. I was completely down for background harem anime character: the anime, but I think I'm going to like watching how this character constantly loses, like Masamune-kun's Revenge. He's just so hateable.

Ascendancy of a Bookworm: That was a whole lot of nothing. Why have an isekai if you're not going to do something fantastical with it?

Overly Cautious Hero: I really wanted the Op to be over the top metal music but just be a minute and a half of MC standing on his Tales Of cliff. Looks fun, I'll give it a shot.

Animal Road: Fun first episode but I can see it getting really stale 4 episodes in.
