I can't view this game in full screen, only in windowed mode. I pretty sure I had run Mahoyo in fullscreen mode before. Can someone teach me how to do so?

You can either select it in the top bar or config menu, or the shortcuts are Alt+Enter or F4

Thanks! I think I will just use Borderless Gaming app to use fullscreen. I had given up to find the solution to this problem.

Chapter 8 is now completely edited, so it's time to release it

This patch contains Mcjon's translation of Chapter 1-7 and 99% of its images (thanks Mcjon and Waku Waku if you see this) along with our new Chapter 8 translation. The extra story section "Whiteboard" you get after completing Chapter 8 and Chapter 8.5 are not done yet, so they aren't included.

Some other changes include

-1.0.2 update applied
-New title logo
-Chapter title images updated to be a more direct translation
-Other miscellaneous config menu warning messages are now translated
-Rune crashes fixed by making 24x24 versions of all the runes
-Every instance of "sorcery" in chapters 1-7 changed to "magecraft"
-You can now take focused window screenshots without the text being removed
-Font selection menu reimplemented

When it comes to Names/Terms what/how do you decide what to keep as is or translate/adapt?

魔法 (Mahou) and 魔術 (Majutsu) get different translation. For example:

Fate/stay night (mirror moon): 魔法 (Mahou) is Sorcery and 魔術 (Majutsu) is Magic. eg: Heaven's Feel is Sorcery and Unlimited Blade Works is Magic.

Fate/hollow ataraxia (Beast's Lair): 魔法 (Mahou) is Magic and 魔術 (Majutsu) is Magecraft. eg: Kaleidoscope is Magic and Projection is Magecraft.

We're following the Beast's Lair form (although I doubt that's where we got it from). 魔法 is (True) Magic and 魔術 is magecraft.


EDIT: since we've structured things and added a lot of staff in the past 8+ months, and as the Twitter thread much later on in this thread states, we've actually changed to the aforementioned mirror-moon style. All of the reasoning is in that post.
