Binged All Of Gundam In 4 Years, 1 Week and All I Got Was This Stupid Mask
FF XIV: Walked to the End
Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
I don't know what to make of ID:invaded except the spikey haired dude in the promo pic is cute. And if dororo and run with the wind have taught me anything, its that any show that draws me in via cute boys tend to be time well spent
I didnt watch angolmois myself but researching the staff it looks like there was strong participation from White Fox regulars, which is why it looked much better than NAZ usual stuff. Upon quick eyeing of namelists, some of the same guys have been announced to work on id:invaded so i guess it should be safe. Or at the very least not holy shit pls kill me like infinite imoimogram.
Somali: slice of life anime in the world where human treated like wild animal and food.
Koi suru Ateroid: Kirara anime with actual yuri. also this anime is supported by Walkure.
Darwin's Game is essentially King's Game, huh?
Again, if it's basically the same as King's Game, then Darwin's Game might be redundant for me to watch. However, I am watching Magia Record, but I have to say, as someone who plays Elder Scrolls games where making deals with demonic god-like entities is not only the best way to get the best gear, it is often needed for the main story, I'm not in a position to badmouth people who make deals with Kyubey. On that note, not just Kyubey, the same can be said of Dies Irae's Reinhard Heydrich or Maggot Baits's ???/Jane Doe/Unknown Witch.
Better as in actually better, or better as in so much worse it's even funnier?

Magia Record starts great and I hope it continues to be so.
Is there any anime worth to watch beside another gacha adaptation and sequel?
Darwin's Game looks like a series with the kind of heroine that I hate the most so I probably gonna give it one another episode before dropping it

Just checked out the first episode of ID: Invaded this morning. Dang, it was good. Unless something else really standout comes along this could easily be anime of the season for me. The concept of going into a killer's mind to see how they committed their crimes and stop them isn't a totally original one (the movie The Cell a while back had a similar plot) but this show is pulling it off in a very cool and evocative way. The shots of the mental world that's basically basically a bunch of disconnected cube-like slices of city floating in an empty void were really creative and visually stunning. Visually it reminded me a lot of the Milkman Conspiracy from Psychonauts, actually.
The characters are also interesting, though obviously somewhat undeveloped so far. Sakaido seems to be your usual stoical type at first, but he shows hints of a more snarky personality and enthusiasm in solving the case that make him more compelling. Curious about his backstory though. Apparently only people who've killed someone can enter the mental world, so I guess he's a murderer? The synopsis mentions his daughter died, so maybe he killed his daughter's murderer and has to work off his sentence by solving cases? Something doesn't line up though, since his character design (at least in the mental world) looks a little too young to believably have a daughter...
Magia Record is better than expected. Hope it lasts.
I'm glad that the Re:Zero director's cut exists, because I don't think I'd've stuck with the show had I watched it as it aired the original 24-minute each episode ver. I would prob have picked it up again once word of mouth became good, tho. Still, the double-length has been good to this cut so far, since the first episode would've been a ton of nothing of import
FWIW, the half of the episode that was episode 2 in the original airing was a marked improvement.

Magia Record's first episode was also a fine time. It's def intending to ape the original animeses' atmosphere, intrigue, and visual language, and I can appreciate that, since Madoka's everything is a high bar and there're worse titles to emulate.
ID INVADED feels like it'd translate well into a video game.I could see concepts being used in a gaming context. It'd feel right at home as a puzzle platformer adventure game.

My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.
ID Invaded: can't unseen the VA joke when MC talks about connecting the world.
As a dudeski who reads Seton Gakuen, I am pleased by the adaptation so far.
