Just watched ep 6 of Plunderer this morning. Damn, that was a dark twist at the end. I totally didn't expect pilot girl to get dragged into the Abyss. Explains why she was so desperate to fulfill her dream (to the point of nearly plunging off a canyon rather than abandon the failed prototype) if she literally had only 10 shots at it. I thought she'd be a more major character who joins the main cast, though I guess I should've been warned that she wasn't shown in the OP.
This episode was yet another tantalizing hint that there's off about this vaguely medieval fantasy world. Why would the empire have a prohibition on researching flight unless they already knew it was possible? You don't generally ban something impossible after all. At this point it seems less like Alcia is really a medieval kingdom than a place being kept in some kind of medieval stasis by higher-ups who are very determined not to let any higher technology slip through for some reason (kinda' like the movie The Village). Makes me wonder just what the backstory is here...
Also, I could guess before but in this ep it's all but explicitly stated Licht's groping/molester shtick is just a defense mechanism of how he keeps girls from getting too attached to him for fear of breaking their hearts/getting them in danger. Still gross and weird, but at least his character kind of makes sense now. And Hina seems to have gotten used to it, if she was more bothered by Licht not answering her question than suddenly trying to peek up her skirt. (And with superhuman strength that can crater stone it's obvious he could've pried her legs apart if he really wanted to. Dude is clearly putting on an act...)
And Licht has a third count on his eye that showed up when the Abyss hand touched him? Combined with the ones on his hand and sword, just how many counts does the man have? It does explain what Jail meant when he said that Licht was hiding his true count during their fight. (I was confused by that since he'd already seen Licht's "hidden" count on his sword).
All in all I'm interested to see where this show goes next.

So, Re:Zero DC is a lie. No new stuff added, just animation updates and such (The most notable being today in Julius beating the crap out of Subaru). There was an scene they should've added when Priscilla was taking Subaru to the selection with Al. They talked about how Pris and Al know Subaru is from another world because Al is (He came 18 years before Subaru), and Pris can tell Subaru is also different from other charlatans claiming to be from another world
But otherwise it's just been 2 episodes of the BD versions of the show stuck one after the other. Dissapointing, definitely. But I still love the show and this is still a fne method to refresh my memory (and watch the Memory Snow OVA, which was great). I just wish they hadn't spoken of "new footage" and led fans to assume that missing key scenes would be added
