One fine day several years ago, our class was going on a school trip for the day to a rather remote location. As the bus ride there and back would take a few hours, bringing along a Walkman, at least two pairs of spare batteries, and of course some listening material was essential; and I didn't forget to pack all that in my bag. What I had forgotten, I realised when the first CD was over, was to put the other discs from the pile next to the CD player back home to their cases that I had brought along with me. So, I was stuck listening to the same CD for the entire day.
And that is why I love The Bends.
