Personality

An imaginative, high spirited, ball of sunshine, Ada Lovelace is the kind of person who puts her all into everything she does. She loved the work that she did in life and enjoyed being with her fellow scientists and mathematicians. Despite her constant illness, Ada was eager to discover and learn new things, often imagining how she could apply the newly learned information in different ways. She sees being a Servant as a second chance at life and is excited to learn new things, traveling to new places, and meet new people. She utterly adores the modern world and is proud of it, finding the new technology that has developed since her time to be fascinating and often takes advantage of the ease of communication to learn new things.

Due to her rather poor relationship with her mother, Ada generally doesn’t care for excessive rulings. While ultimately grateful for being introduced into the sciences, Ada has developed quite a lot of resentment towards her mother for her attempts at trying to exercise her father’s “madness” by redistricting her creativity and freedom. While not opposed to laws or rules, Ada detests bureaucracy and would prefer to do things faster and try and get around them if she can. She has also developed some traits that could be considered rebellious towards her mother, most notably indulging in her creativity and imagination but also being rather casual in regards to sex, loves to gamble, and enjoying poetry and the arts.

In regards to her father, on the other hand, she seems to hold him in much greater respect despite never knowing him. While part of her resents the fact he abandoned her, she holds a somewhat romanticized view of him and wants to know everything about him, to the point she named two of her children after him and requested to be buried next to him. While she may claim her wish is the betterment of mankind or even nothing at all, in her heart her true wish is to actually know her father and be a family with him. It is a wish she knows is inherently selfish so she chooses to believe it isn't what she wants. She wants to meet her father, but is utterly terrified to do so as he may not live up to the image she has of him while also being afraid of him despising her.

Lore

Ada Lovelace was an English mathematician and the sole legitimate child of famed poet Lord George Byron and his wife, Lady Annabella Byron. The relationship between Ada’s parents was tumultuous, resulting in them separating while Ada was but a baby. Lord Byron left the country, leaving Ada in the hands of her emotionally distant and abusive mother, and would later die when she was around eight, leaving Ada with only one parental figure. Her mother feared that Ada would inherit her father’s “insanity”, so she pushed for Ada’s education in logic and mathematics and discouraged literary studies.

She was educated from a very young age, tutored by some of the greatest minds of her time and developing her mathematical and technical skills. Throughout her life she suffered from constant illness, but this did not stop her pursuit for knowledge nor her imagination. Her mother’s attempts to suppress Ada’s creativity were all in vain, and worse still, Ada displayed her father’s more rebellious qualities and always showed a keen interest in who her father was as a person, much to Lady Byron’s horror.

Ada was later introduced to Charles Babbage by a mutual friend of theirs, who showed her his designs for his Differences Engine. Ada was fascinated by the device and Babbage was impressed by the intellect of the young Ada, and the two became close friends. As the two interacted over the years, Ada became Babbage’s protege and he became something of a father figure to her. Seeing the great potential his machines held, Ada would help work work on Charles Babbage's early mechanical general-purpose computer, the Analytical Engine, and end up creating what is known as the first algorithm. Because of this accomplishment, she is known as the first computer programmer in history.

Ada married at nineteen years of age to baron William King and have three children with him. However, she became plagued with rumors of extra-marital affairs due to her relaxed relations with men, as well as having a severe gambling problem that caused her to rack up thousands of pounds in debt. At the age of 36, Ada died of uterine cancer. During her last months, her mother assumed control of who was allowed to see her while on her deathbed, cutting Ada off from her friends and confidants. Having been isolated by her mother, Ada was manipulated into going through a religious transformation and coaxed into repenting for her previous conduct and made her mother the executor of her will.

After passing away, Ada was buried next to her father’s grave as per her wish.

A Skill that acts as an equivalent of Item Construction due to the user's lack of magus aptitude. As she is not a magus, Ada does not obtain the Item Construction Skill. Through use of her Noble Phantasm “Hello World”, Ada can simply “hack” items into existence or “program” existing items with special properties.

Magic Resistance: C
Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals.

Territory Creation (Digital): A
A variation of the Territory Creation Skill, in which one’s territory is constructed in the “Digital Space”. Provided the Servant has access to the Digital Space, they can access their territory from essentially anywhere. Within the Digital Space, Ada Lovelace can create a territory for herself that is the equivalent of a “Temple” of the normal Territory Creation Skill.

The crystallization of her being the first to understand of the logarithms that would eventually be behind the supreme method of information dissemination that the modern computer array uses. It is a Noble Phantasm that allows her to alter her own existence so that she becomes a being that is one with computers themselves, allowing her transform her corporeal Saint Graph into a state of pure data and enter the Digital Space; a manifested realm of the modern computer systems that Ada perceives, in which she can interact and “travel” in.

From her perspective, this Digital Space is as real to Ada as the physical world, and can treat it as such. Within these systems she can effectively take control over them, modifying their programming as she sees fit or replacing them with programs of her own making. Her control over the Digital Space is such that she can even establish a territory within it. The biggest benefit of this Noble Phantasm is to “travel” through the systems, and Ada can easily travel from network to network so long as they have a connection she can access, thus allowing for what is essentially rapid, long distance travel using the internet.

The only limitation to this Noble Phantasm is that the technology that Ada is attempting to interface with must have the logarithms complex enough to support her digitized existence. While simple computers might be possible, things like wooden doors are beyond her grasp.

Often called the first computer programmer, Ada Lovelace was the first to translate the fledgling computer algorithm and made it more accessible to the masses. The programming knowledge that Ada Lovelace left behind for future generations lead to the advancement of computer science. This Noble phantasm’s name is derived from a common sentence used by programmers to check if their code is compiling. Every coder's first step into creating something is to replicate those two simple words: Hello World, a foray into the vast world of coding.

As a Noble Phantasm, Hello World is the embodiment of this history of programming and allows Ada to perceive the world as data, which she can temporarily manipulate by adding her own programs and algorithms to make any changes she wants. In a sense, it's “hacking” reality itself. Through application of this hacking, Ada can produce effects similar to thaumaturgy by coding the desired results into the data of the world. In essence, Ada is capable of spellcasting despite not being a magus and can create a facsimile of the Item Construction Skill. She can produce a variety of effects through this method, but more powerful effects require a greater degree of preparation.

Ada can also target the spirit data of Servants, applying effects to them as she would the world. Typically she would use her Noble Phantasm to apply status effects to Servants — such as poison or paralysis — however, if given enough time it is possible for her to alter a Servant’s parameters, Skills, and even Noble Phantasms. The difficulties of these alterations depends largely on the strength of the spirit data of the Servant, with stronger Servants taking far longer than weaker Servants.

Creator Notes

I rather enjoy doing Ada Lovelace as a Servant. I know her being a Servant who can hack reality isn't exactly an original concept, but it is still something I wanted to take a crack at with my own spin. Originally she was going to be a Caster, but I went with MoonCancer after I thought about how she would be in the Moon Cell. To me, putting this sort of character who is a super hacker into a giant super computer sounds like trouble. So I kinda pictured her being summoned as maybe a Caster during Moon Holy Grail War, then used her abilities to break free of the system. Likely she would just hide out in the Far Side to avoid detection by the system.

One thing I am sure is an original idea is putting emphasis on Ada's relationship with her father. As far as I could tell, every take on Ada has her father barely be a footnote to her character over all. Which seems weird to me given that this woman named two of her three kids after him and wanted to be buried next to him. Seems to me like he ought to mean more to her as a character than just having his name placed in the Natural Enemy spot. Speaking of which, her mother not being listed as a Natural Enemy is some of the other sheets just seemed so weird to me.

On a side note, I only just realized I had been putting the NP names in the big text while the titles get put in the small text. Woops. In any case, I went back and fixed all my sheets so that is no longer an issue. Granted it was very minor, but I did.

I wish we could have something like that in FGO, you know... They had the upperhand when it came to Babbage, as in, that character could be much more than what it became. But alas, I suppose that is the curse when you have so many accomplishments tied to your name that not even the Throne knows what to do with them.
This sheet is very nice, it truly took all the great assets she had and translated them into useful abilities and overall, a cohesive Servant. I'd love to see her in a war!

Presence Concealment(A+): the capacity to hide one's presence as a Servant. It is possible to disappear completely and become almost impossible to be detected. However, efficiency will decrease once preparations to attack are taken.

Mixed-blood(Artificial)(A): Indicates that the blood of something inhuman is mixed in with that of a human. However, Assassin's hybrid nature does not come from a natural conception, but rather from a man-made origin.

It allows for a physical projection of the users soul. In Assassin's case, it manifest as Shadowy tendrils that extend from various parts of his body. This tendrils can reach up to 15 meters away from Assassin and are extremely resilient, being able to block attacks from regular blades or low to Middle rank Magecraft. Furthermore, they also carry the concept of "Absorption", allowing for Assassin to steal a target's Life force from far away by piercing them with the tendrils sharp point.
However, it is important to note that the tendrils are still considered part of Assassins body and as such, any damage inflicted on them will be translated as damage to Assassin himself.

Background

Assassin identify herself as the "Kresnik of rejection", His original name (if he ever had one) was something that was lost in becoming a Heroic spirit.
Those called Kresnik (after the Croatian god of fire) where the members of an Order from Pre-Christian Slovenia and Croatia that would hunt evil beings, most commonly those identified as "Vampires", and help villages by providing resources and treating diseases.
Unlike in a certain order of Assassins, several people could hold the title of Kresnik at the same time. However, the only way to receive the title was to Master the Order's ultimate art. Because it so hard to do it, there was rarely more than one or two active during the same period.
Assassin himself is a oddity in that he was not the child of a Member or a orphan indoctrinated into the Order. His existance is unnatural, being closer to a homunculus. He is the only successful exemplar to come from certain experiments made by some of the Order's more extremists, a hybrid between a human and a dead apostle. Although he was properly afforded the title of Kresnik, his nature and existance was mostly keep a secret even inside the Order itself.

Assassin sees himself a nothing more them a tool to be used by his Master. He was taught nothing but to follow commands and kill Dead apostle, with anything else being unnecessary.
As the few people who interacted with him treated Assassin as a sub-human creature, his view of himself is not the best. He hates his own monstrous nature and doesnt see himself as worthy of love and care. Unfortunately for him, being praised feels good, so he can't help but hope for his Master to give him some when he properly fulfil his duties.

Calm and reclusive. Caster doesn't care much for the outside world, as he prefers to stay by himself and focus on his studies. However he does show eagerness to pass on his knowledge to those seeking it. Caster regards his Master as his disciple and will try to instill in them in the teachings of Neoplatonic Philosophy. He has no patience for those who only care for the physical world and don't acknowledge anything beyond their senses. Caster's reason for seeking the Holy Grail is to fulfill the ultimate goal of all Neoplatonics; unification with God.

The Academy serves as both learning grounds and a temple for Caster, greatly boosting his Magecraft abilities as long as he remains therein.

Talent to craft magical items. As a scholar and not an inventor, Caster can only create books to inscribe his knowledge on. That much of his works were lost to history has further reduced this Skill's ranking.


Personal Skills:

Devotion To The One- A
Caster believed highly in God, who he exalted as absolutely one and beyond human knowledge. This unwavering devotion to one he recognized as [absolute] lends Caster a high degree of defense against mental influencing thaumaturgy. As well, he gains a damage boost while attacking Servants with divinity separate from his God.

High-Speed Incantation- C
The capacity to recite spells at high speeds. Being a mathematician as well as a Magus Caster achieves this rank by compressing his spells into mathematical formulae, greatly shortening their casting time.

Innocent Monster- E+
An unusual Personal Skill, in that it isn't born from the slanders directed against Caster in life but how his legend was distorted after death. This Skill stems from one of Caster's lost works, a book of paradoxes. It was alluded to in H.P Lovecraft's short story "The Nameless City", wherein he listed it amongst other "fragments of daemoniac lore". This created the misconception that Caster himself was a dabbler in the black arts. This Skill allows Caster to summon minor eldritch horrors as familiars, as well as use demonic Magecraft. However as a reasoned man of God Caster severely hates this Skill for how it twists his reputation, and will refuse to use it unless forced by a Command Seal.

Incidentally, this Skill also permits Damascius to be manifested much to his chagrin as a Foreigner-Class Servant. However in that case the being he worships wouldn't be God but rather ​■■■■■■■■■■■.

As Caster believed that all human souls can access God, he can freely bestow this Noble Phantasm's effects to others he deems worthy.

The more the opponent relies on facts and logic, the more heavy mental damage they suffer, potentially driving them to madness.

His NPs are a little generic, yeah. I couldn't think of any way to make them more interesting though.

Your "Kresnik" characters are kind of hard to critique since they're OCs rather than figures from myth or history so I can't comment on how well they do justice to the original. The concept is interesting, "monster-slayer whose a monster themselves" is a pretty classic concept but you pulled it off in a fine way. His personality is woobie-ish enough I kind of want to give him a hug, which I'm pretty sure is the intent.

His NP is a little weird though. Third Magic is a pretty big deal in the Nasuverse, so just using it to make shadow tendrils or whatever seems a little underwhelming to me.

Parameters are Ranked-Up, but is deprived of most reason. his undying devotion that borders on obsession has deluded him to the point where he cannot distinguish between himself and his king anymore.

Independent Action(A): Usually a skill of the Archer class, Faker can still access it while on this class. It is possible to take action even without a Master. However, to use Noble Phantasms of great magical energy consumption, backup from the Master is necessary. At Rank A, it is possible for a Servant to stay in the world for about a week without a Master.

Disguising(N/A): This skill was lost in favor of Faker's first Noble Phantasm.

King's Right Arm(A): A Skill representing one a the executor of his Lord's word. Faker has deluded himself into thinking that he is a emissary of his king's will and, as such, no different from the king itself. It allows for the duplication of certain still and grants access to certain relics.

Charisma of Another(B): A skill representing one's charm and ability to lead armies. However, in Faker's case, one can say that his own Charisma is irrelevant since he is acting on behalf of another.

Godspeed(B): A power borrowed from his king, The technical skills engraved in his Saint Graph from the extent of his marches and from his almost lightning speed on the battlefield. The longer the battle continues, the more his Agility stat increases. Since it is not something natural to Faker, the Rank has decreased.

A Dark, Full body armor who was used by the king to disguise himself and secretly join jousting tournaments. It was obtained by Faker through his King's Right Arm skill since it is useful for his purposes. It has the effect of completely hiding Faker's identity.
Even with a Master's clairvoyance, one would not be able look at his stats like normal. Furthermore, it becomes easier to convince others that you are someone else. For exemple if the user says "I am king Arthur", others around him will be strongly inclined to accept him as "King Arthur" even if his personality and skills don't match the role.
It's nature and power is similar to the Noble Phantasm used by one of the knights of the round table. Honestly, it is just like his king to do something like this.

To be activated, Faker needs to make physical contact with a enemy who has taken deliberate aggressive actions towards him. Once that is done, the Target is marked as "Punishable" and all of their stats drop a rank. Faker will then grab the opponent by the neck while dark flames slowly burn their skin away until nothing remains, at which point Faker finally delivers the final blow by breaking their necks.
A brutal technic, while the large portion of the damage is inevitable, one can manage to survive by freeing thenselfs from his hold before the final attack is made, but the stat drop is permanent.

Background

While Saber will present himself as King Richard I, the Lionheart, he is actually the Occitan Warrrior Mercadier, leader of a group of mercenaries in the service of the king.
He entered King Richard's service in 1184, attacking and laying waste to lands of Aimar V of Limoges. In 1188 he managed seventeen castles captured from the Count of Toulouse. He accompanied Richard on the Third Crusade but was sent back when Philip Augustus left for France. On arrival he and his mercenaries defended Richard's estates in the latter's absence.
After Richard's return from the Holy Land, Faker accompanied him everywhere as his right hand, travelling and fighting by his side. Richard eulogized Faker's exploits in his letters, and gave him the estates left by Ademar de Bainac in Limousin, who died without heirs around 1190. During the various wars between Richard and Philip Augustus of France, Faker fought successively in Berry, Normandy, Flanders and Brittany. When Richard was mortally wounded at the siege of Châlus in March 1199, it was Faker's physician who cared for him. Faker avenged his death by storming the castle, hanging the defenders and flaying Pierre Basile, the crossbowman who had shot the king, despite Richard's last act pardoning him.
It seems that it's not the first time Faker fights while claiming his King's name. He seems that he has done it before at a certain Singularity while confronting the knight of Another Lion king.

Faker perception of reality is quite distorted. He honestly believes that his will amd his acts are that of his King, which means that there is no difference between the two. In his mind, he is both himself and his king.
His only interest is War. It would be useless for a Master to attempt to engage in conversations about anything but the battles. Any who opposes him are opposing his King, and as such must be punished.
In the occasion where he was to meet Richard, his and enhancement would be severely (but not completely) reduced. On the other hand, where he to meet Pierre, he would immediately try to unleash his Noble Phantasm even if the occasion was to make them allies.

Understandable. I know there is a translation from the mats somewhere (I've seen it, but I cannot for the life of me find it again...), but if I recall the effect of the Skill is that it makes the Servant read as though they were another class, up to including the skills? This is all from my faulty memory so don't take my word as fact. >_>

Alter ego's identity is that of the Brainwashing Detective, a famous detective who "resolves difficult cases beyond the reach of normal deduction".

She is a Dark Hero, similar but different from a Magical Girl. She has judged that involvement in criminal investigations is the most efficient method of locating her beloved long-lost twin, patrolling the streets of the city each night. Her true identity is unknown.

Alter ego can be described as a "bizarre individual who pursues justice with a crazed intensity". She silently judges the world with an emotionless countenance, bringing about a case resolution of 100%, and has become feared by both the perpetrators and the victims of various crimes.

Despite her stoic facade, she can be quite smug. Alter ego has an odd habit of saying mind-reeling phrases which, while weird, can be cuter than you might expect.
