    Parameters:

    STR: A
    END: A+
    AGI: B
    MGI: B
    LUK: C
    NP: A

    Personality
Due to Mad Enhancement, Peter’s personality has all been erased. What is left is not a man but a savage monster that hungers for blood. He seems to understand to some extent his role as a Servant, but his Master better have firm control over him lest he engage in outright slaughter or even turn on his Master. There is a certain level of cunning in his actions, but as Mad Enhancement has affected his higher mental faculties this intelligence is really more on par with an intelligent beast than the human intellect he once possessed.

He has a wish, even if he is not fully capable of communicating it under his current Class. Peter’s wish is simply not to be executed and to continue to live out his days without his true nature ever being detected.

    Lore
Peter Stumpp was the accused of one of the most famous werewolf trial in history, being accused of many things: incest, murder, cannibalism, but above all he was accused of lycanthropy. Much of Peter’s life has been lost to history, with much of what is known about him being recorded from his trial and confession under torture.

Peter was a wealthy farmer living in the rural village of Bedburg, who claimed to have been practicing black magic ever since he was twelve years old. The young Peter consorted with demons, including bedding a succubus. At some point in his life he was given a magical belt from the Devil, which allowed him to turn into a werewolf. For twenty-four years, Peter terrorized his village and surrounding areas, gorging on the flesh of not only livestock but men, women, and children. In his time he claimed he devoured fourteen children, including his own son.

Werewolf hunters from his town had tried numerous times to put down the werewolf, but usually failed. One day they managed to sever the left paw off the beast, and later Peter appeared with a corresponding injury. With this evidence, it was believed that he was in fact the werewolf, so he was put on trial and put through in tense torture. Breaking under the torture, Peter confessed to all charges.

Peter was brutally executed by being torn into ten pieces. To warn people to not follow in his path, the town erected a pole with the wheel used to torture him, his severed head impaled on top.

    Skills
    Class Skills:

    Mad Enhancement: B
Raises basic parameters in exchange of hindering mental capacities. In some cases, it also seals away Personal Skills. Boost up all parameters, but takes away most of sanity. Differs from other Berserkers, while regular servants go insane with the effect of Mad Enhancement they still retain the mindset of a human and will react to things like a human. However as his Noble Phantasm is active at the same time as his Mad Enhancement, his mentality becomes like that of a beast's while under the effects of Mad Enhancement.

    Personal Skills:

    Animalistic Logic: B
A combative way of thinking resulting from transforming into a beast. It's not useful for finding weak points, but the speed of thinking focusing on killing the enemy swiftly increases.

    Blood-Sucking: C
The act of absorbing another's blood to replenish their own health and physical and/or magical strength. For Peter, it is an absorption and recovery of physical strength when consuming flesh.

    Monstrous Strength: A
A Skill that temporarily grants a rank-up to one's Strength parameter for a time limit determined by the ranking of this Skill. It is borne from the holder's nature as a monster or Demonic Beast.

    Scream of Fear: C
A roar that arouses another's instinctive awe as a living being. Peter can bestow fear and continuous Defense Down on all enemies.

    Noble Phantasm
    Werwolf Gürtel
    The Werewolf of Bedburg

    Rank: A
    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Range: 1
    Maximum Number of Targets: Self

A magical belt that is said to be given to Peter by the Devil, which has granted him the ability to transform into a werewolf form. Once the belt is put on, Peter will rapidly transform into a werewolf, sky-rocketing his Parameters to the point where he is comparable to the Three Knight Classes. Due to the demonic origins of the belt, the werewolf form he assumes makes him a Demonic Beast is nature and thus is more susceptible to attacks that injure such creatures. While assuming werewolf form, his normal Skills are sealed and replaced with those more in-line with his nature as a monster. Contrary to popular beliefs about werewolves, this Noble Phantasm doesn’t require it to be night for it to be activated nor does he gain the weakness to silver that actual werewolves have. This is due to the fact that Peter Stumpp is not a natural werewolf and instead gains lycanthropic abilities through use of a magical artifact.

Under any other Class, Peter would be able to retain his human mind while assuming werewolf form, but under the Berserker Class his mentality is changed to be more akin to a beast. As a Berserker, the Noble Phantasm is permanently activated, trapping Peter in his werewolf form as he lacks the mental faculties to remove it himself. While it is possible to revert Peter back to his human form through use of a Command Seal, it would be an entirely pointless action as his mental has been hampered by the Mad Enhancement Skill, thus making it impossible to access his normal Skills.

    Relationships
Child Servants: Is naturally violent towards children and actively enjoys killing and eating them. As a Berserker, this desire to gorge himself on the flesh of children is particularly strong. He is the enemy of children, a menacing predatory antagonist, a Big Bad Wolf.

Atalanta: As a killer of children, he is directly opposed to the huntress who protects children. This antagonism goes even further given his nature as a beast and her nature as a huntress of beasts. It is unlikely these two would ever get along even if Peter were in his unaffected mindset.

Saints: He is a demonic entity, as such he is also an enemy to these holy persons. Peter personally has some biases towards the Catholic Church due to their involvement in his execution which he believes was due to his Protestant faith rather than his actual crimes. This bias is lost, however, as a Berserker and is simply another demonic entity for the Saints to vanquish.

Giles de Rais: These two would have gotten along surprisingly well if it weren't for Peter's insanity. As a fellow child murderer who engaged in the dark arts and consorted with demons, Peter would have felt a kinship with him.

    Creator Notes
Coming hot off the heels of my much more detailed (and obviously better) Ada Lovelace sheet, here is this rather simplistic sheet for Peter Stumpp. I kind of been kicking around this idea for quite some time (back around when I first started writing Imhotep, really) and I decided to bite the bullet and write it up. He isn't a super complex character, more traditional Berserker compared to some other, but it was still fun to write him up.

It only took me 15 pages, but I finally got around to making a Sheet for the new thread.
Kinda sorta maybe might make this a series, going through the key players of the Empire. But don't hold your breath.

    - - - Updated - - -

    Saber

"The reeking masses yearn for gods and miracles. It is their opiate, and they consume it greedily. The people do not endeavour towards greatness, but rather mire themselves in their petty strifes—shackles on the feet of man. They will always desire a leader who decides everything for them - uncertainty over the future only causes them pain. That is why it is down to us, the Noblesse to clear the path for them."

    True Name: Henry Plantagenet
Epithet: "Founder King of the Angevin Empire"
    Source: Historical
    Region: Britain (12th Century)
    Hidden Attribute: Human
    Alignment: True Neutral
    Likes: Family, Warfare
    Dislikes: Betrayal, Priests
    Talents: Administration, Hunting
    Natural Enemy: Richard the Lionheart

    Parameters:
    STR: (C) END: (C) AGI: (B) MGI: (C) LCK: (B) NP: (B)

    Character:
Henry presents himself as a polite, courteous and a charming fellow - with enough warm energy that anyone would want to follow his command. But underneath the mask is a cold and analytical man emboldened by a dark flame inside his heart. He learned everything from his mother, a woman born with no power who worked her way to become a ruling Empress, and so he deeply believes that it is human nature for people to want to climb higher and higher in the world and that is the path to happiness. Naturally this comes at the expense of his relationships, both personal and political which fuelled the number of uprisings against him - often led by Henry's own family. Although disappointed, Henry believed he understood the reasons as their ambitions to become King themselves and so answered back with his full strength to squash the rebellions each time. Though in reality it was his lack of understanding of other people that caused strife even if he cared for others in his own awkward way.

This mentality continues even as a Servant as he views himself as the leader with his Master as a vassal as they work together for their shared goal of obtaining the Grail. As they are his subordinate, Henry would not consider backstabbing his Master though at the same time he considers himself of higher value and thus he expects them to be able to pull their own weight and even work to save themselves if possible from danger. He enjoys warfare and hunting and so the chance to clash with heroes pleases him. Henry treats the Holy Grail War as if it were another military campaign and while he does possess his own form of honour, he is still in it to win it and so he'll resort to guerrilla tactics to make up for his lack of physical might, and whilst he won't kill an enemy Master himself he isn't above capturing them if he stumbles across them in order to gain leverage over the other Servants.

His Wish upon the Grail? Perhaps upon seeing the way people live both in the modern world and how the other Servants view things has caused Henry to reflect on his philosophy. Whatever the reason, should he win the Holy Grail - Henry would use it to tell his past self to spend more time with his family. It may be impossible to fully fix the relationships between them, but at the very least Henry could return to being dead having let go of his only remorse.

    Skills:

    Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance - (C)
Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. At this Rank, Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals.

    Riding - (A)
A Class Skill of Rider and Saber class Servants, denoting the ability to ride mounts and vehicles. Rider-class Servants will typically possess a high rank. It is said that dragon type mounts are an exception, requiring a different ability other than Riding. At this Rank, all vehicles and all creatures but those of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast-rank can be used as mounts. Having ridden horses for all of his youth in hunting and later for war as an adult, Henry is extremely adept at it, just at the cost of the bones in his legs bending thus causing him to become bow legged whilst standing.

    Personal Skills:

Command of the Emperor - (A)
The transformation of the "Command of the Tactician" Skill that is given to strategist Servants. Henry was an usurper of authority, a lowly Duke who fought his way until he obtained not only the English crown but an Empire stretching across Europe. As such his skill as a strategist and his skill as an emperor have been merged so that when fighting in a group battle - be it with his Master or another Servant - their collective allied power will be maximised so long as they continue to follow Henry's command and bonuses will be granted when attempting to pass any kind of Check.

    Demon King - (C)
An ability "similar to but dissimilar from Innocent Monster" that affects those who were called a monster in life, later twisted to be different than they were in life. Henry was deeply hated by the Church who never forgave him for the death of Saint Becket and they did their best to portray him as a demonic figure - "discovering" and publicising his family's link to the legend of Melusine in an attempt to emphasise Henry's "inhuman wickedness". As a result, when an opponent engages Henry in battle they will see a demonic visage surrounding him that imparts mental pressure and subsequent minus modifiers to their Parameters. However, at this Rank the distortion is merely an illusion and an opponent who undergoes a successful Check will easily see through it.

    Golden Rule - (B)
A Skill that constitutes not the amount of one's wealth, but rather the ability to acquire it through both talent and luck. For Henry who acquired vast amounts of revenue in conquering foreign lands, and spent much of his reign reforming both the Royal Treasury and taxation laws in order to improve the economy. By the end of his rule, Henry had transformed the debt riddled country he was given into one of the economic powerhouses of Europe.

    Noble Phantasm:

    Sword of the Plantagenet
Who Would Rid Me of this Troublesome Priest?

[Type: Anti-Unit], [Rank: B], [Maximum Range: 1-500 Metres], [Maximum Number of Targets: 1]

A cursed phrase, mere words that cost a Holy Man his life.

Drawing the King's rapier from its scabbard, Henry plunges the blade into his own shadow - causing it to sever from his body and rise up from the ground. The shadow then takes the form of a crusading knight complete with sword and shield. While this "knight" appears to be alive at first it is just a facade as it is no more than an automaton that follows Henry's orders in real time. As the Knight is Henry's shadow it naturally has his Parameters as its own which creates the illusion of fighting two Servants at once.

However the Shadow Knight cannot truly think for itself and cannot move beyond 1000 meter radius of Henry, thus it is not hard to avoid for a Servant adept at combat, rather it serves more as a distraction whilst Henry gets into an advantageous position to strike down the enemy. If Henry takes damage whilst this Noble Phantasm is active then he can transfer the damage to the Shadow Knight like a voodoo doll, however this has its limits as damage to the automaton cannot be undone and Henry only possesses four Shadow Knights in total (one active and three in reserve) that each represent his most fervently loyal warriors - Reginald FitzUrse, Hugh de Morville, William de Tracy and Richard le Breton. Once all four are destroyed then the Noble Phantasm is lost completely so it must be used wisely.

When it comes to delivering the final blow, Henry forcibly summons all four of his Shadow Knights onto the field to surround his opponent - doing so puts enormous strain on him so it can only be maintained for three seconds. Henry then uses his sword in conjunction with his Knights to preform a quintuple slash to strike down the opponent.

    Lore:
Born during the days of Anarchy where King Stephen and Empress Matilda battled over the English throne, eventually a solution to break the stalemate was settled where Steven remained King but Matilda's son Henry would take over upon his death. Marrying the powerful Eleanor of Aquitaine, Henry was ready to not only restore his family's rightful place to the throne but go beyond the bounds of English dominion and take as much as Europe as possible.

Naturally this brought him into conflict with Louis VII of France and the resulting military tensions and the frequent face-to-face meetings to attempt to resolve them has been popularly dubbed the first European Cold War. Over the course of 30 years Henry chipped away at Louis' kingdom a bit at a time, first taking Brittainy then Nantes and into Toulouse - each time Henry negotiated a peace treaty that would temporarily halt tensions.

However, as Henry's Empire grew so did the number of his political enemies. Most notably was his own wife Eleanor as the relationship between the two had disintegrated and as such she encouraged Henry's sons to overthrow their father with the help of France and Scotland. Thus began the Great Revolt, yet Henry did not balk at the prospect of fighting his own family and had his wife captured and imprisoned. Bit by bit Henry squashed the rebels until Scotland surrendered, France requested peace talks and his sons bent the knee to his continued rule. Henry was now viewed as stronger than ever by foreign rulers and he was asked to arbitrate over international disputes in Spain and Germany.

The years passed by and by the 1180's Henry's health was starting to wane and naturally the question of succession reared its head once again. Despite Prince John being his favourite child, Henry conceeded that Richard the Lionheart was most suited to be the next King. However Richard could not let go of his fears that Henry might change his mind and the new king of France Philip II whispered into his ear that it would be best to overthrow Henry while he still had the chance. The relationship between father and son finally devolved into violence despite the attempts by the Church to mediate. Henry refused to back down despite suffering from a bleeding ulcer that would prove fatal. Philip and Richard immediately launched an offensive strike but Henry managed to evade their every attempt and retreated to safety in Anjou where he collapsed in his castle. Realising he was slipping away he agreed to host negotiations with the pair, but as he was being transported to them the news that Henry's favourite son John had publically sided with Richard against the King broke Henry's heart and he fell into a fever and died, leaving the fate of Britain in the hands of the Lionheart.

Though the Empire that Henry built collapsed after 100 years due to the infighting amongst his children, his rule nevertheless had large ripple effects that changed Britain forever - the legal system he implemented eventually evolved into the English Common Law, whilst his intervention into Brittainy, Wales and Scotland shaped their Governments forever.

    Creator's Notes:
The FaceClaim is Milliardo Peacecraft from Gundam Wing, though the personality stems more from McGillis Fareed. It was just a coincidence that he sorta kinda looks like he could be F/SF Richard's father in terms of design. I was originally going to use Tokiomi Tohsaka as the FC for the laughs of having a bad dad Servant but I thought that might break the suspension of disbelief too much.

I'm aware that I skipped over King Henry (not the same person) in the Lore section, but when I tried to write about it... well, that got confusing real fast and it isn't suuuuuper relavant in the long run and so I decided to cut it in the end.

The NP was deliberately meant to parallel his son's Rounds of Lionheart. That and I couldn't really think of anything else. What's the deal with the shadow automatons NP? Well, as a child my first experience of Robin Hood was via a shadow puppet theatre and for some reason it always stuck in my mind. And of course since Henry is Richard's father it felt natural to connect the two.

    Personal Skills
    Strength of Bonds
    Rank: A

A unique variation of Charisma granted to Lancer, whose legend is deeply intertwined with a band of close-knit soldiers he established. As someone who deeply values the bonds he shares with others, Lancer's presence greatly invigorates his allies' morale. Lancer also gains a temporary boost to parameters when he fights for the sake of his allies.

    Tactics
    Rank: B

Tactical knowledge used not for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where many are mobilized. Bonus modifiers are provided during use of one's own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm or when dealing against an enemy Anti-Army Noble Phantasm. Lancer specializes in destroying formations, finding holes and exploiting them to sow chaos on the enemy front.

    Godspeed
    Rank: C

A skill granted by a certain anecdote during Lancer's youth. It was said that while he worked hard to train his body from a young age, he focused mainly on agility, believing that "strength suited the purpose of wrestlers, but agility conduced to excellence in war". While its rank is significantly lower compared to a certain British king's, Lancer still receives gradual boost to his agility the longer the battle continues.

    Noble Phantasm(s)
    Indestructible Bonds of Thebes
    Ἱερὸς Λόχος

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: B
    Range: 1-300
    Max Targets: 300

Hieròs Lókhos; The Sacred Band of Thebes. A band of soldiers led by Lancer, consisting of 150 pairs of male lovers which formed the elite force of the Theban army in 4th century BC, ending Spartan domination. The band was a force to be reckoned with, in large part due to the close bonds shared between its members. Regarding its formation, Theban general Gorgidas claimed that "a band cemented by friendship grounded upon love is never to be broken, and no man would wish to be shamed in battle in front of his lover".

The band's greatest feat was achieved during the battle of Leuctra on 371 BC. It was here that thanks to Lancer's clever strategy and the band's undying fighting spirit, Thebes was able to claim victory from the Spartan army, previously thought to be impenetrable. This event also marked the beginning of Lancer's later exploits, liberating nearby areas previously under Spartan rule, proving that the feared kingdom of Sparta was not as invincible as previously thought.

This Noble Phantasm allows Lancer to summon up to 300 soldiers from the band, as well as grant parameter boosts to those he considers allies, even if they are not originally part of the band. While these effects may significantly alter the course of battle, Hieròs Lókhos' true function lies in its ability to find and exploit holes in the enemy's defense. The summoned soldiers strive to create a single crack on the enemy's defense. Once an opening is made, no matter how small, the soldiers gradually grow in strength the greater the opening and the more destruction they inflict, allowing them to maximize the damage done to enemy forces before falling in battle. Naturally, this Noble Phantasm serves as a counter to that of a certain Spartan king's.

    Description
Lancer's True Name is Epaminondas, a Theban general and statesman famous for leading the Ancient Greek city-state of Thebes into prosperity, transforming it from an area under Spartan subjugation into one of the most influential areas in the politics of Ancient Greece.

An outgoing, boisterous man, Lancer is a charismatic general with a seemingly endless supply of stories to tell regarding his life and the time he spent with his soldiers. He is capable of forming close, long lasting bonds with anyone he considers a friend, proven by his ability to recall various anecdotes and personal details regarding most, if not all, of his soldiers. He is also eager to forge new relationships and would not hesitate to invite anyone he comes across to join his band, even including people like Leonidas I, the king of Sparta, and Phillip II of Macedon, who ultimately defeated the Sacred Band of Thebes. Having developed a mutual sense of respect between them, one may see the three of them together, bickering like old friends without a trace of animosity.

Lancer sees his Master as a trusted confidant and advisor. He would be most compatible with Masters who care little towards the Master-Servant dynamic and would simply see him as a friend, where he may openly consult with them regarding his plans, or freely indulge them with stories of his soldiers' exploits. On the other hand, if summoned by a Master with a cold or distant demeanor, he would simply play the part of a silent executor, although he may still voice his complaints from time to time.

Lancer does not claim to have a specific wish to the Grail, claiming that being summoned in the modern day is a good enough adventure for him. Yet deep down, he wishes for the rest of his soldiers to be remembered in history, after all "It's not fair that I'm the only one remembered while everyone else fought just as hard as I did." Of course, he does not necessarily need the Grail to achieve this. As long as he continues to speak of their tales to anyone who would listen, he is already one step closer to his wish.

    Lore
Epaminondas was a Theban general and statesman of 4th century BC who transformed the Ancient Greek city-state of Thebes, leading it out of Spartan subjugation into a pre-eminent position in Greek politics. Cicero called him "the first man of Greece", and Montaigne judged him one of the three "worthiest and most excellent men" that had ever lived, but Epaminondas has fallen into relative obscurity in modern times. The changes Epaminondas wrought on the Greek political order did not long outlive him, as the cycle of shifting hegemonies and alliances continued unabated. A mere twenty-seven years after his death, a recalcitrant Thebes was obliterated by Alexander the Great. Thus Epaminondas—who had been praised in his time as an idealist and liberator—is today largely remembered for a decade (371 BC to 362 BC) of campaigning that sapped the strength of the great city-states and paved the way for the Macedonian conquest.

Epaminondas was best known for his decisive victory in the Battle of Leuctra (371 BC), where he and his Sacred Band of Thebes triumphed over the Spartan army led by Cleombrotus. During the war, it was said that the strength of the Spartan's phalanx formation had a tendency to veer to the right. To counter this, most generals usually lined up elite troops to the right. Yet Epaminondas devised a clever strategy to break through their formation; while he kept the numbers in the right side of his army balanced enough to tank the Spartan's onslaught, he placed a smaller number of elite soldiers on the left, where his enemy's formation was most unguarded. This allowed him to shatter their formation with ease, granting him victory. Epaminondas erected a monument on the battlefield, where a number of his soldiers buried their armors and shields, as a reminder of their victory.

After his victory on Leuctra, Epaminondas continued to liberate territories formerly under Spartan control, with four invasions to Peloponnesian cities, liberating and earning the gratitude of their citizens, all while developing the city-state of Thebes as a skilled politician, until his death in battle in 362 BC.

In matters of character, Epaminondas was above reproach in the eyes of the ancient historians who recorded his deeds. Contemporaries praised him for disdaining material wealth, sharing what he had with his friends, and refusing bribes. One of the last heirs of the Pythagorean tradition, he appears to have lived a simple and ascetic lifestyle even when his leadership had raised him to a position at the head of all Greece. Cornelius Nepos notes his incorruptibility, describing his rejection of a Persian ambassador who came to him with a bribe. These aspects of his character contributed greatly to his renown after his death.

Epaminondas never married and as such was subject to criticism from countrymen who believed he was duty-bound to provide the country with the benefit of sons as great as himself. In response, Epaminondas said that his victory at Leuctra was a daughter destined to live forever. He is known, however, to have had several young male lovers, a standard pedagogic practice in ancient Greece, and one that Thebes in particular was famous for; Plutarch records that the Theban lawgivers instituted the practice "to temper the manners and characters of the youth." An anecdote told by Cornelius Nepos indicates that Epaminondas was intimate with a young man by the name of Micythus. Plutarch also mentions two of his beloveds (eromenoi): Asopichus, who fought together with him at the battle of Leuctra, where he greatly distinguished himself; and Caphisodorus, who fell with Epaminondas at Mantineia and was buried by his side.

    Relationships
    Leonidas I:
"Hoho, what's that, you say you have a counterattack Noble Phantasm? Well, have a taste of my counter-counterattack Noble Phantasm!"

    Iskandar:
"Hmm, conquering definitely isn't my thing, but I can see how you're an excellent leader to your men. You and your men would be most welcome to join me."

    Achilles, Patroclus:
"Ah, the two of you seem like fine men to join me. After all, I see the bond between you is a powerful one."

    Master (bond 5)
"You know, Master, the people in Chaldea reminds me so much of my brothers. They're wildly different in so many ways, but you can always rely on them to get things done. Of course, I have you to thank for allowing me to witness these miraculous bonds you've established. You would be welcome to- no, wait, I suppose you are already one of my brothers in arms now. Haha, come, I have so many stories to tell about them!"

The ultimate bro. Kinda rushed this one, so he came out pretty straightforward overall.

    Noble phantasm

    Dragonfly Cutter
    Tonbokiri

    rank:Anti-Unit, B-

Lancer's Noble Phantasm is Tonbokiri, one of the 3 great spears of Japan. Although is not something she wielded during her life, she is allowed access to it by the original owner.
The spear derives its name from the myth that a dragonfly landed on its blade and was instantly cut in two. because of that, it as the ability to ignore the defense value of things. Basically, it can hurt armored enemies like they not wearing armor. Furthermore, by activating the name of the Noble Phantasm, she can launch a long ranged attack to catch enemies distracted.
The spear has suffer a rank drop because Lancer is not so proficient with it, but nothing that affects it's use too much. Lancer does likes to think he father would be proud to see her with the weapon.

    Background

Lancer's identity is Komatsuhime, also known in her childhood as Inahime and Onei, a female warrior (onna-bugeisha) during late-Sengoku period and early Edo period. Born the daughter of Honda Tadakatsu, she was adopted by Tokugawa Ieyasu, before marrying Sanada Nobuyuki. She is described as having been very beautiful, highly intelligent and skillful in fighting.
After witnessing the martial prowess of the Sanada at the First Battle of Ueda Castle, she and her father were captivated by them. Tokugawa Ieyasu himself arranged for Lancer to marry Sanada Nobuyuki, the son of the Sanada lord.
In 1600, when Nobuyuki had decided to cast his lot with the Tokugawa, his father Masayuki (who had not done so) was en route to Ueda Castle, accompanied by his other son, the famed Sanada Yukimura. The two stopped at Numata Castle, where Lancer was managing affairs. Lancer challenged Masayuki and Yukimura at the entrance of the Castle moments before of the Siege of Ueda. Masayuki relayed a message to her: "I want to see my grandchildren", and in response, the princess emerged, dressed in full battle attire, saying, "Since we have parted ways in this conflict, though you are my father-in-law I cannot allow you into this castle." Masayuki and Yukimura withdrew to a temple, Shōkaku-ji, and were surprised when they saw Lancer (with her children) arrive soon after them, honoring Masayuki's wish.
After the Battle of Sekigahara, during Masayuki and Yukimura's exile, she took charge of sending them food and other daily necessities.
She died in Kōnosu, Musashi Province (the present-day city of Kōnosu in Saitama Prefecture) at age 47, while en route to the Kusatsu hot spring. Nobuyuki lamented her death, saying that "the light of my house has been extinguished".

    personality

Lancer has a natural motherly disposition. She likes to take care of other, and her grace and gentleness is soothing to others. Unsurprisingly, she is very good with kids.
However, that also means that, when those who she cares about are in danger, she turns into a fierce warrior. She can be very cold when fighting and, depending on the enemy, even cruel.
Ideally, her Master would be someone with a good amount of courage. She doesn't them being reckless, "it kind of reminds me of my father" she says.

Is despair a merit or a defect?
    It is both.
The possibility of this sickness is man’s advantage over the beast; to be aware of this sickness is the faithful's advantage over the common man; to be cured of this sickness is God's highest blessing.

    ...

Ah… how dreadful… for my soul to be desecrated into such heretical ritual…
All this is done for a counterfeit holy grail!
Moreover, such fake relic that has been tainted by such evil thing…
What blasphemy! I am in despair!

But if I had been summoned… it means that I have a wish for this Holy Grail, right?
That means… ah… how shameful… for my soul to have such profane desire…
As I though… my faith is still lacking…

Ah… for such weak Heroic Spirit such as me to fight against such powerful heroes of myths…
To be honest, Master, such thought fills me with fear and trembling.

But, for the sake of faith, for the sake of cultivating hope, this opportunity is perfect.
So, don’t worry dear Master. Anxious as I am, this humble Servant has faith in your conviction.
Even the most horrible monster, the most powerful villain, and the most vengeful demon
—in the end all are just stepping stone for faith to leap on.

After all, the greater the danger, the greater the suffering, then the greater your faith must be.
Only the greatest suffering may give birth to the greatest hope! The greatest faith!
So dear Master, may your faith radiate hope upon this desperate war!

Laugh at the world’s follies, you will regret it, weep over them, you will also regret that.
    Laugh at the world’s follies or weep over them, you will regret both;
Whether you laugh at the world’s follies or weep over them, you will regret it either way.
Give up the Holy Grail, and you will regret it; keep seeking it, and you will regret that too.
Give up or keep struggling until your bones break, you’ll regret it either way.
Whether you give up or keep trying, you will regret both.
This, dear Master, is the quintessence of all the wisdom of life.

Such desperation… yet Master, you must not lose faith.
Only through faith you can overcome this absurdity.
Faith alone can get you through all the world’s contradictions.

    You know Master...
Now that I’ve reflected upon it, I really have to thank you for summoning me.
I’ve learned that I have so much thing lacking… that the despair I despise so much runs so deep into my soul… although it makes me hate myself more, it also grants me the opportunity to put an end to this sickness once and for all. As I thought, it’s not that I desire the Holy Grail or anything like that, but as it is said: “this sickness is not unto death” and thank Almighty God for that!

Although now I have been dead, like Lazarus I now have been raised again, my soul ready to be cured!
So, thank you dear Master, for this chance to cleanse myself. I don’t care if I die once again, but so long as I can cure this ‘sickness’ in myself—no, not just in myself, but the whole world!

Lord in Heaven! Witness me as I bring your salvation back into this world that has lost its meaning and purpose and abandoned you!

    Class: Berserker
    True Name: Søren Kierkegaard
    Gender: Male
    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
    Origin: Historical Facts
    Region: Denmark
    Attribute: Man

If one look into his eyes, one will find the despair and faith, intermixed and swirling as if one. Kierkegaard, who is famously known as the Father of Existentialism, was a figure whom sickness, the despair that he endured all his life, became the very source of his unyielding faith to God. This despair was none other than the muse that inspired his philosophical output, the very origin of his identity as a Heroic Spirit. A stern individualist, an unflinching theologian, a connoisseur of despair, Søren Kierkegaard is a man who found a ‘cure’ out of this sickness through a leap of faith, and with it sought to cleanse the world completely of despair.

    Parameters:
    STR: D
    END: B+
    AGI: D
    MGI: B
    LCK: EX
    NP: B

    Class Skills:
    Madness Enhancement: EX
Class skill of the Berserker class, it is an enhancement that raises parameters in exchange of their mental capacity—that is how it supposed to work anyways.

In this case, the ‘madness’ that this skill grants is being replaced and influenced by other kinds of madness Berserker always had from the beginning, as well as he acquired later in life and even after his death. These are the ‘despair’ he carries, the ‘faith’ he had built, as well as some sort of ‘Innocent Monster’ effect from the interpretation of his ‘Existential Philosophy’, all these factors converges together to create the kind of ‘madness’ Berserker have now. Although communication is possible, achieving mutual understanding is difficult.

    Personal Skills:
    Double-Mindedness: B
A combination of ‘Single-Mindedness’ and ‘Contradictory Mind’ skills, it is based on Berserker’s own philosophical concept with the same name. Sinful desire and faithful devotion, in other words, despair and hope, perpetually oppose each other inside his mind, forming a sort of paradoxical unity that at the end of the day pushes him towards achieving the same goal. Berserker shifts between despairing frenzy and faithful fervor as easily as one would press a button to change a television channel.

    Unearthing of Buried Lives: A
The true source of Berserker’s warped perception of reality, it is a psychic ability that he acquired as the result of a ‘curse of despair’ that runs in the Kierkegaard family (which by the way means 'graveyard' or 'churchyard'). It allows one to ‘dig out’ the ‘entombed self’ of a person. In essence, it allows the projection of a person’s inner negative emotions such as sorrow, pain, anxiety and suffering into Berserker’s own mind, allowing him to dive into other’s despair as if it’s his own. Normally this would drive a person into suicide or severely alter their mind, but due to certain factors it only makes Berserker slightly more masochist.

Additionally, it is possible to manifest those negative emotions as Shadowgraphs that can be manipulated for combat purposes. In other words, Berserker can force others to confront their own despair. That said, the first person that Berserker would use this skill against would certainly be his own Master.

    Anxious Fate: B+
A type of precognition that affects one’s luck — the concept of anxiety itself turned into a skill. It gives Berserker the ability to sense specific course of action that would result in him ‘committing a sin’ through a warning that causes disturbance in his soul. In other words, Berserker would experience great anxiety when confronted with a choice that would result in ‘sinful actions’ that he has to ‘resign infinitely’ into ‘the option that would eventually lead to salvation’.

    Noble Phantasms:
    Sygdommen til Døden
Fall into Despair — Thy Judgment Hath Come, this Sickness unto Death
    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: C
Sickness unto Death, in other words, despair.
This Noble Phantasm is an attack that utilizes the ‘sickness unto death’ that Berserker carries, forcibly projecting it into other’s soul. It is the maximum utilization of the first ‘channel of alternate perception’ Berserker possesses, brought by the ‘despair disease’ that the Kierkegaard family was afflicted with.

It is a Noble Phantasm that manifests Berserker’s own despair, that is the ‘despair disease’ as a giant Shadowgraph that consumes the target whole, inflicting the target’s soul with a ‘curse of despair’ that forces them to perceive only the evils and worst of humanity and the world, plunging those unable to resist into madness. At best, the target would ‘not be oneself’, as if their mind has been dug out of their body, at worst they would commit suicide.

Five out of the seven Kierkegaard siblings died young as result of this ‘disease’, being outlived by their father, Michael Kierkegaard—the man responsible for this affliction. Michael Kierkegaard once set unto a journey to meditate upon the theodicy—the question of “why would God let this much suffering and evil in this world”. On this journey he discovered a certain being, something that could be called ‘All the World’s Evils’ that was sealed away by the Holy Church, and upon contact with it he was inflicted by a disease that would be inherited by six of his children, of which none of married nor had children—quite effectively ending the curse in a generation.

    Frygt og Bæven
Leap into Faith — Come to Thy Salvation, with Fear and Trembling
    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: B
Fear and Trembling, in other words, salvation.
Having become something close to what he described as a ‘knight of faith’, Berserker receives a Noble Phantasm that crystallizes this miracle. It is the result of Berserker having reached the ‘nothing’ at the end of the ‘infinite resignation of the self’, allowing him to wield the principle of ‘truth is subjectivity, and subjectivity is truth’. In other words, it is none other than the qualitative leap — the ‘leap of faith’.

It is an ability to negate any and all doubts and fear, all anxieties and worries or whatever hindrances that prevents one from reaching that one and only possibility, to perform that single action by completely resigning one’s self to God. Simply put, it is a Noble Phantasm that ‘opens a path towards salvation’ by just performing a single action: be it a slash, a punch, an utterance, or even a single step.

Said action does not necessarily need to be done by Berserker himself, and he can use this Noble Phantasm upon others to perform the deed for their own sake. In fact it can also be applied to an object, which grants said object the same effect. However, the ‘leap’ can only be performed once every Noble Phantasm usage and it cost quite a lot of magical and mental energy.

Søren Kierkegaard: what, no bagel references? Okay, but no joking now: this one is amazing, really good stuff, I adore the NP's in specific. Good job man, really good job.

Kierkegaard: Wow, this is a really cool sheet. I'm a little surprised he doesn't have some sort of disguise ability based on how he wrote under so many pseudonyms (sometimes even arguing with himself under a pseudonym), but I guess it wouldn't really fit the theme you'd sketched out. He reminds me a bit of Kirei, actually, what with spending his life trying to overcome the distorted mentality engrained in him from birth (a "victorious Kirei" if you will, given Kierkegaard did finally obtain the answer he sought in the end). I wonder how they'd get along...

Also, all these authors showing up here makes me want to get into Bungou Stray Dogs again. I really should catch up on that third season sometime...

Despair, in Kierkegardian sense is "not being oneself", so in theory by cloaking himself in other person's despair (thru his Unearthing of Buried Lives skill), he can in a sense, disguise himself.

    - - - Updated - - -

Also with Kirei I do have a headcanon in which Kierkegaard faces a Danish Kirei at the end of his life during his infamous "attack upon christendom" episode, something to do with the true nature of 'despair' and the theodicy mentioned in the sheet. Maybe someday.

Is this the first Dantesface (read: Komaeda faceclaim) these threads have ever had? I want to say no, but I haven't seen all of them.

My favorite part of Kierkegaard's sheet is Sygdommen til Døden acting rather like the grail mud. That's one hell of a despair curse. The whole sheet is interestingly dreadful; not even the NP that clears your doubts with an assigned crossing of the threshold feels all that comforting.

Philosophers are all psychics that have a bit of schizophrenia, yes.

As for the Butterfly Dream, I think he would recognize that person as something resembling a true 'knight of faith'

"Most people live dejectedly in worldly sorrow and joy; they are the ones who sit along the wall and do not join in the dance. The knights of infinity are dancers and possess elevation. They make the movements upward, and fall down again; and this too is no mean pastime, nor ungraceful to behold. But whenever they fall down they are not able at once to assume the posture, they vacillate an instant, and this vacillation shows that after all they are strangers in the world. This is more or less strikingly evident in proportion to the art they possess, but even the most artistic knights cannot altogether conceal this vacillation. One need not look at them when they are up in the air, but only the instant they touch or have touched the ground–then one recognizes them. But to be able to fall down in such a way that the same second it looks as if one were standing and walking, to transform the leap of life into a walk, absolutely to express the sublime in the pedestrian–that only the knight of faith can do–and this is the one and only prodigy."

I do wonder what Kierkegaard would think of Shirou actually, given the latter's desire to become a hero and save everyone even though he knows it's impossible is at least a little like the 'Knight of Faith'. On the other hand Shirou's devotion to his ideal is explicitly aesthetic ("It's beautiful") while Kierkegaard seems to have considered aesthetic motives to be inferior.

I do feel that at least Fate route Shirou has a seed of the Knight of Faith in him though. Heck, one of the examples Kierkegaard used to illustrate the concept was even a man who keeps pursuing a woman he loves while knowing they can never be together, which reminds me a lot of Shirou and Saber's reunion in Avalon. ("One must wait continuously, one must pursue endlessly. They must realize that it is impossible to succeed yet at the same time be capable of enduring patiently. Is that… the story of a dream that shouldn't be waited upon?"). I wouldn't go as far as to say Nasu was inspired by Kierkegaard's work in writing F/SN but I do think there's something to that.

Oh well, food for thought I suppose.

That's a damn good Kierkegaard sheet. Makes me really want to go through with my Saber/Berserker Friedrich Nietzsche sheet idea I've been kicking around for a few months now. Really good work you put into it! I really like how you tried to work in his philosophy into his abilities.

Since I felt it was a shame to not speak at least a little about our latest entries, I've decided to write a bit of praise for every and each one. Ya'll are doing an amazing work lately.

    Henry Plantagenet
I loved him as the antithesis of Lionheart. I think you did really well in this regard too, he is indeed very similar and very dissimilar at the same time. (And I loved his character too. Those regrets are something that must weight heavily on his mind, indeed... It reminds me of Iskandar, who kinda accepted that his empire crumbled with his death; but in this case, Saber's priorities were elsewhere, a welcomed change.)

    Epaminodas
THE ULTIMATE BRO INDEED. But you know, I liked that this sheet was straight(heehee)forward, because in a sense isn't what this absolute unit of a man is? A good bro, a good Servant, a good soldier. I can only imagine the strain this NP must be on a Master's mana pool, though! (And other than that, skills that are all about strenghtening whoever he considers an ally? Talk about best boy!)

    Komatsuhime
A cute waifu with a deadly weapon-- my weakness. This is a good sheet, and with the few informations we can gather of this character, you managed to pierce together a cohesive experience. Good for you!

    Kierkegaard
YO. From time to time we get to see some really good entries, the kind of entry that makes us hold our breath while reading them, and this is one of those instances, you know? There's not a single note out of place in this sheet and I can only imagine the work you put into it! But frankly, it paid off beautifuly... This is an amazing Servant! I loved how we could get glimpses of him everywhere, from the description of his skills to his personality/character session. Amazing work!

Goddess Divine Core(A): A Skill that expresses one being a perfected goddess since birth. It has the effect of preserving the absoluteness of the mind and body. It mitigates almost all mental interferences, prevents the body from growth, and prevents the figure from change no matter how many calories are absorbed.

Shinning Light(A): This skill represents Caster Authority as a Goddess of Dawn that brings brilliance to the world, it allows Caster to summon and shape pure light into any form she wishes. These light constructs have low damage potential, but are extremely resilient and have great defensive value. They also are extremely effective when used against demons and other creatures of the dark.

Breeze of flowers(B): A skill representing Caster Authority as a Goddess of Spring, the season where the hardships of winter become past and life can flourish untroubled. It is a ability that greatly reduces damage from all violent actions. It also grants Caster a degree of resistance to instant death attacks.

    Noble phantasm

Away With The Cold, The Season of Rebirth has Come
    Ostaramonath

    rank: Boundary, EX

Caster's Noble Phantasm is a union of her two Authorities, A manifestation of her power who brings back the warm light back into a Earth frozen by the dark winter.
It creates a boundary field who manifests a expansive field full with flower of every possible color. In this place, the gentle Sunshine heals the wounds of her allies while the soft wind reinvigorate them and boost their strenght. But just as spring comes it too, like all things, must go away. However, the life it brought will persist through the summer and hopefully, see another field of flowers again.
By focusing all of her Magical energy, essentially overloading her saint graph and sacrificing herself, Caster can give the gift of life to a fallen ally. Of course, resurrecting the dead is something unattainable even to true magic. What she is actually doing using the isolated nature of her Boundary field to mark that death as "not valid" and as such, reverse it.

    Background

Caster's identity is Eostre, also know as Ostara, a Germanic goddess who, by way of the Germanic month bearing her name, is the namesake of the festival of Easter in some languages.
Her material is scant. Some scholars have speculated that Caster is a form of Freya. Others believe that she is actually Iduna, or Walburga, or even the mysterious star goddess Aurvandil. Some scholars have even speculated that she was not a goddess at all, but simply an invention, but that is very unlikely. Some modern Heathens and Norse Pagans have experienced personal gnosis of Caster being a Vanic goddess, or at least very close to the Vanir, but again, there is no evidence and her origins continue to remain a mystery.
Her true mystery, however, is evident every year. She is the first warm spring winds, the birds that return, the trees that bud and curl forth leaves and flowers. She is the awakening earth, rabbits and hares, the eggs that appear after a winter of no light.

    personality

Caster is a bundle of energy. Cheerful and friendly, she is the kind of girl who puts effort into getting along with even the hardest of personalities. She doesn't let silly things like "Rudeness" or "Anti-social behaviour" stop her from calling someone a friend, and is the kind of person who will come to your aid even if you previously rejected her.
She is quite satisfied that worship of her has survived in some form into modern times, she even grew rather found of some modern traditions. Chocolate in specific. She really, really has come to like chocolate. Maybe even too much.
