    Alternate Classes: Assassin
    True Name: Wendigo
    Alignment: Neutral Mad
    Origin: Native American Mythology
    Armament: Claws

    Parameters:
    STR: C
    END: C
    AGI: D
    MANA: D+
    LUCK: C
    NP: B

    Skills
    Class Skills

Mad Enhancement - Rank B: The Class Skill that characterizes a Berserker, raising basic parameters and strengthens one's physical abilities in exchange for hindering mental capacities and/or in exchange for their sense of reason.
Rank up for all parameters. Language ability is virtually nonexistent. Berserker’s mentality is that of a starving predator, always looking for another source of food. As such, he is highly dangerous even to his Master. Mutual understanding can be considered impossible, but primitive communication is still possible.

    Personal Skills

Innocent Monster - Rank C: An attribute possessed by Servants whose true history and existence have been distorted by the monstrous reputations and gossips they accrued across the course of their life and thereafter, without concern for the actual person's will or appearance. As a consequence, the Servant's abilities and appearance have been rendered to conform to the specifications of their legend. Incidentally, this Personal Skill cannot be removed.
Though originally a mere spirit of hunger, Berserker became strongly connected to a psychological phenomenon related to the native peoples of North America. As a result, he has acquired enough of a relation to humanity as to qualify as a Heroic Spirit. Conversely, he has also lost many of his abilities, including the ability to possess others and his limited power over ice.

Monstrous Strength - Rank D++: A Skill that temporarily grants a rank-up to one's Strength parameter for a time limit determined by the ranking of this Skill. It is borne from the holder's nature as a monster or Demonic Beast.
After Berserker consumes a soul, whether that of a human or that of a Servant, his Monstrous Strength receives a boost for a short period of time.

Soul Eater - Rank C-: By eating the souls of Servants, it is possible for the user permanently increase their abilities. However, the user can grow too powerful for a Master to control.
As a spirit of hunger, Berserker can never truly be sated. As such, he receives diminishing returns from Soul Eater. Should he eat a single soul, he would then require twice the amount of souls in order to receive the same benefits again, and so on.

    Noble Phantasms

    Spiritual Cannibalism Illness
    Wendigo Psychosis

    Anti-Unit, Rank C
A Noble Phantasm acting as an extension of Berserker’s nature as a spirit of hunger and characterized by his Innocent Monster Skill. Berserker’s craving for flesh seeps from him, suffusing and corrupting the very mana of nature around him. Though this spreading of his spirit does not directly affect those that stay in Berserker’s surroundings or visit the places he has acted in, contact with Berserker’s spiritual residue acts as a ‘source of infection’ for Wendigo Psychosis.
When activated, Wendigo Psychosis drives those afflicted by Berserker’s spirit into a cannibalistic rage, causing them to viciously attack humans in their surroundings and feed on their flesh. Though it can be used to cause chaos, Berserker gains the benefits of feeding caused by Wendigo Psychosis as though he was the one feeding, no matter the distance or number of targets affected. Like this, Berserker can quickly replenish or acquire stores of magical energy, and sometimes even benefit from his Soul Eater Skill.

    Description
    Likes: Human flesh, cold weather
    Dislikes: Being seen, string music
    Talents: Gluttony
    Natural Enemy: N/A

Berserker’s true identity is Wendigo, the Cannibal Spirit of Hunger.

Due to Mad Enhancement, little remains of Wendigo’s personality. He is constantly afflicted by a hunger that can never be sated, and as such is constantly on the lookout for sustenance. Wendigo appears to understand his nature as a Servant and thus his ability to hide from human sight, and as such attacks victims with impunity. Only his instinctive dislike of having his deeds witnessed prevents him from engaging in outright slaughter.
The warping of his nature brought on by Innocent Monster has made Wendigo slightly more in tune with human nature. As such, he can act with surprising cunning, seeming to predict human patterns of thought and action.
Wendigo thinks little of other Heroic Spirits, except as particularly rich sources of energy. As a monster, he is understandably wary of those with a reputation as monster-slayers and seems to recognize such Servants on sight. In terms of conflict between Servants, Wendigo operates much like an Assassin would, preferring weaker prey like Masters and injured Servants.
As Wendigo’s madness is due to his hunger, he can present a danger to a Master. Naturally, a Servant that feeds on humans would also be unsavory to a more righteous-hearted Master.
If he possesses a desire for the Grail at all, Wendigo’s wish would probably be to be allowed to fully sate his hunger. As the Grail is supposedly omnipotent in its wish-granting ability, it is just about the only thing capable of achieving this and as such Wendigo seems to desire it.

    Lore
Wendigo is an evil man-eating spirit, primarily told of in the folktales of the Algonquian tribes. Though recorded as being of human origin and the result of a human indulging in greed or gluttony, Wendigo’s true origin is an Animal Spirit. Born from a starving beast, in order to sate its hunger, this Spirit would possess humans and seek to devour anything edible nearby.
This contact, however, eventually resulted in the first Wendigo of human origin. Like this, the legend of the Wendigo grew even after the original met its end against human heros. The sporadic appearances of Wendigo eventually led to the creation of the psychological diagnosis of “Wendigo psychosis” as a cultural phenomenon and mental illness.

Wow, been away from here for a while huh. Sorry about that, IRL stuff got in the way, then I lost the notes to my Saber Melehan due to a certain idiot sibling of mine mistaking them for garbage and thus tossing them. as a result, I've had to start re-writing him from scratch. However, I was able to save the note for another servant, so as an apology gift, have an Avenger.

    Avenger of Wrongful Chains

    Class: Avenger

    Alignment: Chaotic Good

    Stats:
    Strength-B
    Endurance-A
    Agility-D
    Mana-D
    Luck-D
    NP-B

Personality: Avenger is a complicated individual. While he is generally virtuous, he takes great issue with law enforcement, particularly if said law enforcement is noted as being corrupt or abusive. In instances of corrupt Police, Avenger is likely to defy his Master to thwart the police and help those who are being oppressed. As a result, Avenger has low compatibility with Masters who are strict rule followers, but tends to work well with Masters who, like him, don't mind breaking the law if it means doing good.

Likes: Helping others, thwarting corrupt law enforcement, aiding the poor
    Dislikes: Corrupt law Enforcement/government
    Talent: interfering with police
    Natural Enemy: Sheriff of Nottingham

    Class Skills

    Avenger-C
: Avenger, due to his unique situation, embodies those who suffer due to law enforcement. As such, his level with this skill is only middle of the road, for while there are many who despise law enforcement as a force of ruin, many more do not.

Oblivion Correction-A: As the embodiment of those who suffer due to the police, Avenger has a similar strength to that of Angra Mainyu, striking back when others forget.

Self-Replenishment(Mana)-C: Avenger recovers just enough mana with this skill that, in tandem with another skill, he can effectively go without a master for the entire war. However, use of his Noble Phantasm without a master will force Avenger into Spirit Form temporarily.

    Personal Skills

    Independent Action-C:
The other skill that permits Avenger to exist without a master. Normally a class skill of the Archer class, Avenger's nature and history has allowed him to acquire it as a personal skill.

Determination of Steel-A: At this rank, the user is completely desensitized to pain, having suffered through countless torturous experiences and come out with a will like steel.

    Noble Phantasm

    Javert-
Chains of the Virtuous(C, Anti-Unit): A rather interesting Noble Phantasm that embodies the concept that Avenger embodies, "Imprisonment that is, in some form, wrong". Manifesting as the chains attached to Avenger's body, they are a mid-grade conceptual weapon that, when their true name is called, lash out like snakes and bind the target like shackles. Escaping the chains requires three checks in succession; an alignment check, a strength check, and a luck check. In order to pass, the target must be "of a disposition where one abuses the law to shield themselves from punishment"(Lawful Evil), "Of prodigious strength, unable to be bound by iron"(Strength rank A or higher), or "possessing of the devil's luck, enabling escape from all cages"(either Luck rank B or higher, or possessing a skill that enables escape). If the target fails all three checks, then they are left vulnerable to Avenger's second Noble Phantasm.

Les Miserables-Prison of the Wronged(B, Anti-Unit): The other Noble Phantasm of Avenger, or perhaps more accurately, the other half of Javert. A reality marble, created in a similar manner to Ionian Hetairoi, that embodies the unjust/immoral imprisonment Avenger suffered through. The interior of the marble is a gigantic prison, akin to a classical Dungeon. Those bound by Avenger's chains and unable to escape find themselves locked in a cell in the prison, deprived of their Noble Phantasms and gear. While such a situation seems hopeless, there ways to escape, should a servant be clever enough to find them. The path to freedom is different for each prisoner, always testing their resolve and virtue. Should one escape, then they are free. Those who fail, well, they are trapped forever.

Lore: Avenger is interesting. While the name that appears on the stat sheet is Jean Valjean, the protagonist of the novel "Les Miserables", he is not the only being in there. In truth, Valjean, on his own, is not strong enough to be a Heroic Spirit, despite the fame of said novel. Instead, Avenger's existence is more akin to that of the Assassin incarnation of Jack the Ripper, a collective of Phantoms who are bound together under a single concept. In Avenger's case, that concept is "Wrongful Imprisonment". However, unlike Jack, the Phantoms who comprise Avenger chose Valjean as their representative, and as such molded their abilities and stats around Valjean's story.

He Whom Shot Down the Sun, Hou Yi

He Whom Shot Down the Sun
    Archer Hou Yi

    Class: Archer (Grand Candidate)
    Alternate Classes: Assassin, Slayer
    True Name: Hou Yi
    Origin: Chinese Myth
    Alignment: Neutral Good
Armaments: Tiger Bone Bow, Dragon Tendon Arrows
    Attribute: Heaven
Traits: Servant, Humanoid, Male, Earth or Sky, Divine, Not Weak to Enuma Elish

Wish for the Grail: “To reunite with my wife.”

    Bio
Bio: In time long past their once lived ten suns, the children of the Jade Emperor, whom each took turns illuminating the sky. Of course being children they were brash and impulsive, thus when one suggested it would be fun if they all took to morning together none complained or thought of the consequences. With ten sun’s in the sky at once rivers dried, crops failed, and mortal men fell to the ground exhausted from the heat.

Adding tragedy onto tragedy the beasts and demons which prayed upon man began take the opportunity that the heat had provided, coming out of the darkness to yet ravage the land more. To save humanity the Jade Emperor would send the Hou Yi, the god of archery famed as the greatest bowman in heaven and earth. While Hou Yi felled the beasts, the Emperor tried his best to quell his children, scolding them and begging they return home.

Unfortunately the Emperor’s words fell on deaf ears, the suns to lost in laughter and merriment. Yet worse still Hou Yi’s bow was of little help against the beasts he fought, their shear number threatening to overrun the earth. As things became worse and worse, Hou Yi found only one choice left, aiming his bow upwards towards the suns above.

He first let loose a warning shot, hoping to scare the children away, however this did not deter the suns and thus with heavy heart Hou Yi set loose nine more shoots felling nine suns, leaving only one. Greif and fury filled the Jade Emperor’s heart, and in his grief, he punished not only Hou Yi but his wife Chang’e as well. Both were stripped of the godhood and banished to the earth bellow, destined to live and die as mortals.

The looming specter of death brought no end of fear and distress to Chang’e and so, to cure her of her despair Hou Yi set out on a quest to regain their godhood. After many trials he would come before Xiwangmu, the Queen Mother of the West, whom gifted the bowman an elixir of immortality. Unfortunately she held only enough for one to become a god, with no means of making more for several thousand years.

Upon returning home Hou Yi offered the elixir to his wife, however the prospect of leaving her beloved husband was a far worse fate to her than death thus she refused the gift. Of course such a great gift as the Elixir of Immortality could not be thrown away so instead, they would store it and find another whom could make use of it.

Time passed and the two former gods adapted to their lives as mortal beings, finding joy despite the hardships of life, in some cases because of them. Hou Yi would come to take an apprentice, one whom soon learned of the elixir his master held and set out to obtain it. The next day as Hou Yi left to hunt in the woods, the apprentice forced his way into his master’s home, demanding of Chang’e the elixir. She refused to answer his question, leaving the man to destroy her home in search.

Now knowing the man’s true face Chang’e could not allow him to obtain what he desired, and thus with heavy heart she took the elixir for herself. She regained her godhood, her husband arriving soon after to give a final farewell as she arose into the heavens. Wishing to remain as close to Hou Yi as she could, she made her home upon the moon rather than returning to the court of heaven. This would inspire Hou Yi to leave an offering of her favorite cakes inspiring the tradition of the mid-autumn festival.

Despite being born a god, Hou Yi would live and die as a mortal man his story being recorded within the Throne of Heroes.

    Parameters

    -Strength: B+
    -Endurance: B
    -Agility: A+++
    -Mana: C+
    -Luck: A+
    -NP: EX

    Skills
    Class Skills:

Independent Action EX: An archer class skill which allows a servant to remain manifested even when rejecting or otherwise cut off from their master’s magical energy. Bound by nothing save his love for his wife Archer has earned this skill at a high rank, it has been further increased to EX as a result of his Noble Phantasm. At this rank Archer is capable of surviving indefinitely even without a source of mana. Using skills and Noble Phantasm is still impossible without a source of mana.

Magic Resistance B+: A skill which conveys protection from magical effects, though stripped of his godhood Archer was still once a divine being earning him this skill at C rank, his Noble Phantasm further increases this skill rank to its current state. At this rank Magecraft of B rank or lower are automatically canceled, and those of higher ranks have their effectiveness decreased.

Divinity -: A skill denoting one’s capacity as a Divine Spirit, this skill has been absorbed into Archer’s Noble Phantasm.

    Personal Skills:

Mana Burst (Sun) A+: A form of Mana Burst which imbues one’s body and weapon with the energy of the sun, it acts as a more advanced form of Mana Burst (Flame). This skill is linked to Archer’s Noble Phantasm and thus should it be unusable by any means this skill too is unusable. As a result of Archer’s Noble Phantasm this skill is of a high rank, thou similarly remains bellow EX due to him having no other means of utilizing this skill.

Eternal Bow Mastery A+: A further refined version of Eternal Arms Mastery which allows one to maintain their skills and prowess with the bow, even while under the effects of mental hindrance. At this rank Archer’s skills as a bowman is so engrained into his body that it is impossible to forget and can be utilized even while he is in a mindless state comparable to a Berserker. This skill also conveys the benefits of it unrefined form, Eternal Arms Mastery, at B rank.

Bow and Arrow Creation EX: A skill allowing one to design and create bows and arrows, having created such weapons of such great quality they are best classified as divine armaments Archer has earned this skill at its highest rank. At this rank Archer is capable of creating bows and arrows using only magical energy. Additionally bows and arrows with strength comparable to A rank Noble Phantasms are possible provided Archer uses materials of high enough quality. It is also possible to imbue special effects and magics to these creations based on the materials used.

    Noble Phantasms
    Noble Phantasms:

Jiǔ Zhī Wūyā: To Save Humanity You Must Fall A++

An Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm which recreates Hou Yi feat of shooting down the nine suns, this including the suns themselves. While not invoked this Noble Phantasm maintains nine miniature recreations of the suns Hou Yi shot down, each one representing only one use of this Noble Phantasm. While in this passive state the suns can be used offensively, providing light in darkness and capable of burning through even the strongest of magical defenses. Once this Noble Phantasm is invoked one of the nine suns will fly into the air increasing in size until it reaches its peak size. After this Hou Yi fire’s a single shot at this sun, which then transforms into a blazing three-legged red raven as it flies towards the ground. It is nigh impossible to stop in this state, and once it hits the target, or ground, it explodes with might comparable if not superior to a nuclear missile.

Bēitòng de Zhàngfū: I Dedicate My Love to You EX:

An immeasurably strong blessing Chang’e bestows upon her husband which becomes all the stronger in the moonlight. This Noble Phantasm increases the ranks of Hou Yi’s parameters, and some of his skills regardless of the time of day, as well as increase his resistance towards charm’s and mind control. Additionally while at night it also conveys additional blessings, making Hou Yi completely immune to mental control, further increasing his resistance to magical effects, and even imbuing his attacks with the power of the moon.

    Interactions
    Interactions with others:

Summon Line: “For humanities sake I fire my arrows, for your sake Master I fight battles, for love’s sake I follow my heart. I am the Celestial Archer Hou Yi.”

BB: “You’re from the Moon?! Tell me, you wouldn’t happen to know a woman name Chang’e? She is more beautiful than any goddess of love, more elegant than flower petals dancing in the air, kinder and more loving than even a mother. No, sorry for taking your time then.”

Super Orion: “Another man in love with the moon, an Archer no less. Wait no the Grand Archer, a title which I also am a candidate for. I starting to sense a theme.”

Phantom of the Opera: “Chang’e, Chang’e, how I wish to be with you Chang’e.”

Sun related servants: “*Fires Arrow* Ops, you felt so similar to these little guys I thought they were starting to cause problems again.”

    Other’s interactions with him:

Orion: A: “Aww doesn’t this mans love remind you of us darling?” O: (in denial) “No, definitely not, not at all.”

BB: “Chang’e? I know the name, and I know she’s somewhere in the Mooncell, but I’ve never meet her myself, sorry.”

Ozymandias: “Ha, do not think it will be as easy to shoot down this sun “Archer.”

Quetzalcoatl: “Oh my this is Mucho bad. Need to keep my guard against this man, Si!”

Authors Notes: So to star off, there are a lot of versions of Hou Yi’s story, with some of them being a bit harsher, but of course the version I used is one of the more popular versions. One thing I’d like to note is my version stopped at nine because he ran out of arrows (couldn’t figure out a way to put that in the Bio organically), and probably would’ve shot down all ten if not for that (though he admits that would’ve been pretty dumb on his part). This is also why that “Tenth arrow never shot” is not one of his NP’s, that and the fact I felt three was a bit much. While on the NP I’d also like to mention, the fact that Hou Yi has nine mini suns following him was because that idea ran through my head while trying to think up his appearance and I thought that was really cool.

If I'm not mistaken, Hòu Yì now holds the record for the most Sheets for a (total)* fanon Servant... if you exclude multiples by the same person anyways. If we did count it by all sheets total, then Kriemhild barely holds on to that title by a slim margin.

*By that I mean not just taking Artoria and turning her into another Class for example.

I'm not surprised by that... He's like this thread's version of Simo Hayha, everyone and their mothers already made a version of him somewhere along the line.

By the way, Draco, nice rendition of best boy archer there! I know it's hard to innovate when this has been done to hell and back, but you've managed to come up with an overall good sheet. I liked his interactions a lot, it fleshed his character nicely.

    Berserker of the Setting Sun
"A Berserker, huh... Naturally, someone such as I could not possibly qualify as anything else... On a related note, answer me this, Master; What does it mean to become 'human'?"

    Source

    Class: Berserker
    Other Classes: Caster, Alter-Ego

    True Name: Osamu Dazai/Oba Yozo
    Alignment: Chaotic/Lawful Neutral
    Place of Origin: Japan

    Parameters:

    STR: C
    END: D
    AGI: C
    MGI: D
    LCK: E
    NP: B

Likes: Writing, 'doing the right thing'
Dislikes: The emptiness he feels within, worldly temptations, the constraints of the conscience
    Talent: Writing, philosophy
    Natural Enemy: Horiki, Gilgamesh, Himself
    Armament: Flames, snakes
    Catalyst: An old, dirty string

    Class Skills
    Madness Enhancement
    Rank: E+ (EX)

The class skill of a Berserker, raising basic parameters and strengthens one's physical abilities in exchange of hindering mental capacities and/or in exchange for their sense of reason. Berserker retains most of his reason, capable of holding conversations eloquently with a calm demeanor. Without knowledge his identity, one may wonder how he is a Berserker in the first place. Yet beneath his charming persona, there is something fundamentally strange- not 'wrong' per se, but perhaps 'empty' regarding Berserker's attitude. Berserker is one who continously seeks meaning for his existence, pursuing an impossible ideal while drowning in a perpetual cycle of hedonism and self-loathing. Perhaps it is due to his hatred at this aspect of himself that Berserker forced himself under this particular class, making the probability of summoning him under any other class extremely unlikely. Overall, while normally this skill would only grant Berserker a small boost to his parameters, its effects would be greatly amplified upon the activation of his second Noble Phantasm.

    Personal Skills
    Contradictory Mind
    Rank: C

Berserker regards himself as a paradox unfit to be called 'human'. He enjoys hedonistic, worldly pleasures such as women and alcohol, and harshly chastises himself whenever he fell for these temptations. In Freudian terms, it can be said that his id and superego are constantly, erratically vying for control, dominating his psyche without the presence of an ego to balance the two forces. This contradictory aspect of his randomly transforms Berserker's alignment into two kinds, namely lawful and chaotic.

    Hollow Mask
    Rank: A

A composite skill consisting of Mental Pollution and Single-Mindedness, denoting the superficiality of Berserker's persona, and the emptiness that lies beneath. Throughout his life, Berserker was known for the multiple 'masks' he donned. Yet ultimately, which one of them is true? Is it the talented author? The charming womanizer? The depraved hedonist? The pitiful man who lamented his sins? All of them? ...Or none of them?

A skill belonging to a man who endlessly, single-mindedly questions himself in pursuit of meaning. Grants major resistance against most mental attacks. Or rather, perhaps it is better said that "there is nothing to attack", as Berserker's psyche is too empty and self-centered to be affected by external influence. It is devoid of belief, purpose, and emotions, save only for his unending pursuit to an answer, and the harsh punishments he imposes upon himself.

    Trouble with Women (False)
    Rank: C

A skill that denotes how easy it is for one to encounter and be drawn to women due to their beauty. Married once, committed a number of adulterous affairs with his fans, before running away and taking his own life with one of his lovers, Berserker's charm as a womanizer is undeniable.

...Yet, has he ever truly loved any of them? Has he ever truly fallen in love, or were those relationships nothing more than experiments; another attempt for Berserker to find meaning to his life?

The man himself does not know.

    Noble Phantasm(s)
Final Fate of the Glorious Rising Sun
    Shayō

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: D+
    Range: 1-100
    Max Targets: 100

The Setting Sun, one of Berserker's most famous works depicting the decline of Japanese nobility after the second World War. The novel tells the story of a family of former aristocrats who lost their fortune, becoming "victims of a transitional period". It shows a tragic, bleak view of Japanese society after the preceding ultra-nationalism during the war. The novel was rife with symbolism, mainly flames symbolizing the downfall of the aristocracy, and snakes symbolizing the ominous nature of death.

This Noble Phantasm turns Berserker into an existence who kills those unwilling to let go of their pride, allowing him to conjure flames to scorch his enemies. While these flames are not severely damaging, repeated exposure would gradually reduce the target's parameters, at an even faster rate the more pride they possess, and the higher the position they held in life.

An even more offensive application of this Noble Phantasm allows Berserker to conjure a multitude of venomous snakes from his sleeves. Despite being easily capable of killing humans, these snakes normally prove to be nothing more than a mild inconvenience for Servants. However, if their parameters were to be lowered enough by the flames, perhaps it might be possible to inflict serious damage, or even death in rare cases.

    Rejection of the Empty Self
    Ningen Shikkaku

    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: B
    Range: 1
    Max Targets: 1

No Longer Human, Berserker's most famous work, arguably a reflection of his own life. A Noble Phantasm born purely out of rejection and self-loathing. Chastising himself for his inherent flaw of emptiness, Berserker believes himself to be disqualified as a human being, better suited to live as a monster rather than an outsider vaguely imitating some semblance of humanity.

Whenever Berserker's shame and self-loathing surpasses a certain threshold, his body would gradually transform into that of a grotesque monster. His claws would become longer and sharper and his form would increase in size. The effects of Madness Enhancement would also become more apparent when this Noble Phantasm is active, greatly increasing his parameters at the cost of turning him into a rampaging beast. It is also possible for Berserker to activate a part of Shayo under the effects of Ningen Shikkaku, enveloping himself in flames that could further weaken and deal more damage to his enemies. Activating this additional effect may be risky for some Masters, however, as the mana cost for sustaining Ningen Shikkaku is already decently high in itself. Berserker would gradually return to his normal form when his emotions stabilize. However, the thought of unintentionally harming his Master may cause feelings of guilt and self-loathing in Berserker, turning this Noble Phantasm into a perpetual risk of harm for the Master.

    Description
Berserker's True Name is Osamu Dazai, a Japanese author famed for his tragic, semi-autobiographical style of writing. He also introduces himself as Oba Yozo, the main character of Dazai's most famous work, No Longer Human. His true identity remains unclear, as he seemingly possesses memories of both Dazai and Yozo, and he remains unwilling to share this secret. A possible explanation for this could be that the Throne recognized both men as one and the same due to the various parallels between them. In a way, the Throne is correct, proven byBerserker's lack of Innocent Monster, signifying that the two are fundamentally similar enough that Yozo's characterization within the story does not unnaturally influence Dazai's real-life character.

Berserker presents himself as an outgoing gentleman with a charming wit, seemingly capable of captivating crowds of people through enticing stories and clever jokes.

...Of course, that is nothing more than the facade that he spent an entire life perfecting. Berserker's true self is, for all intents and purposes, empty. To him, nothing exists outside of his eternal search of 'meaning'. He is silently obedient, but he displays no sense of purpose, belief, or any strong emotions towards anything. Cigarettes, alcohol, and women may seemingly bring him happiness, yet to him, they are simply another aspect of his facade that he puts in order to be accepted as 'human'. Writing seems to be the closest thing he has to a hobby, and even then deep down he believes it is simply another temporary distraction from his neverending pursuit. As a little side-note, in his pursuit, he may occasionally take up new, mundane hobbies, although he would be just as quick to abandon them once he feels that they serve no purpose to him in the long run.

When left to his own devices, Berserker spends every moment in self-contemplation. To him, every experience is an opportunity to find 'meaning' to his existence, thus he endlessly questions himself. Did he respond correctly in that conversation? Was there anything he could have changed? Could things have been better? Did he do the right thing? Of course, due to the subjective, ever-changing nature of what is 'right', it is unlikely that he would arrive at any satisfying conclusion. Yet he continuously berates himself whenever he believes that he has failed, pushing him further into a downward spiral of shame and self-loathing. Aside from unintentionally activating his Noble Phantasm, these feelings may also manifest as suicidal tendencies, which may cause trouble and misunderstandings to Masters unfit to handle these situations.

Should he ever get his hands on the Grail, Berserker would most likely wish for death, as punishment for his failure in understanding humans and eradicating the dreadful emptiness within. Yet if somehow, despite all odds, he manages to find the 'meaning' that he long sought for, or if one manages to convince him to abandon his unattainable wish and find joy in other things, then perhaps...

    Lore
Osamu Dazai (1909-1948) was a Japanese author who is considered one of the foremost fiction writers of 20th-century Japan. A number of his most popular works, such as The Setting Sun (Shayō) and No Longer Human (Ningen Shikkaku), are considered modern-day classics in Japan. With a semi-autobiographical style and transparency into his personal life, Dazai's stories have intrigued the minds of many readers.

Born Shūji Tsushima, he began his literary career in 1927, when he took interest in gidayū, a form of chanted narration used in the puppet theaters. He also edited a number of student publications and contributed some of his own works. He went on to publish a short literature magazine with some friends, and subsequently became the leader of his university's newspaper team.

Tsushima's growing success was put to a halt when he learned that his idol, Ryūnosuke Akutagawa, had committed suicide. From then on, Tsushima started to neglect his studies, and spent the majority of his allowance on clothes, alcohol, and prostitutes. He also dabbled with Marxism, which at the time was heavily suppressed by the government. On the night of December 10, 1929, he committed his first suicide attempt, but survived and was able to graduate the following year. In 1930, he enrolled in the French Literature Department of Tokyo Imperial University and promptly stopped studying again. In October, he ran away with a geisha named Hatsuyo Oyama and was formally disowned by his family.

Nine days after being expelled from Tokyo Imperial University, Tsushima attempted suicide by drowning off a beach in Kamakura with another woman, 19-year-old bar hostess Shimeko Tanabe. Shimeko died, but Tsushima lived, having been rescued by a fishing boat. He was charged as an accomplice in her death. Shocked by the events, Tsushima's family intervened to drop a police investigation. His allowance was reinstated and he was released of any charges. In December, Tsushima recovered at Ikarigaseki and married Hatsuyo there.

Soon after, Tsushima was arrested for his involvement with the banned Japanese Communist Party and, upon learning this, his elder brother Bunji promptly cut off his allowance again. Tsushima went into hiding, but Bunji, despite their estrangement, managed to get word to him that charges would be dropped and the allowance reinstated yet again if he solemnly promised to graduate and swear off any involvement with the party. Tsushima accepted the offer.

Tsushima kept his promise and settled down a bit. He managed to obtain the assistance of established writer Masuji Ibuse, whose connections helped him get his works published and establish his reputation. The next few years were productive for Tsushima. He wrote at a feverish pace and used the pen name "Osamu Dazai" for the first time in a short story called "Ressha" (Train) in 1933: his first experiment with the first-person autobiographical style that later became his trademark.

However, in 1935 it started to become clear to Dazai that he would not graduate. He failed to obtain a job at a Tokyo newspaper as well. He finished The Final Years, which was intended to be his farewell to the world, and tried to hang himself March 19, 1935, failing yet again. Less than three weeks later, Dazai developed acute appendicitis and was hospitalized. In the hospital, he became addicted to Pabinal, a morphine-based painkiller. After fighting the addiction for a year, in October 1936 he was taken to a mental institution, locked in a room and forced to quit immediately.

The treatment lasted over a month. During this time Dazai's wife Hatsuyo committed adultery with his best friend Zenshirō Kodate. This eventually came to light and Dazai attempted to commit double suicide with his wife. They both took sleeping pills, but neither one died, so he divorced her. Dazai quickly remarried, this time to a middle school teacher named Michiko Ishihara. Their first daughter, Sonoko, was born in June 1941.

In the 1930s and 1940s, Dazai wrote a number of subtle novels and short stories that are autobiographical in nature. His first story, Gyofukuki, is a grim fantasy involving suicide. Other stories written during this period include Dōke no hana (The Flowers of Buffoonery, 1935), Gyakkō (Against the Current, 1935), Kyōgen no kami (The God of Farce, 1936), an epistolary novel called Kyokō no Haru (False Spring, 1936) and those published in his 1936 collection Bannen (Declining Years), which describe his sense of personal isolation and his debauchery.

When Japan entered the Pacific War in December 1941, Dazai was excused from the draft due to his chronic chest problems, as he was diagnosed with tuberculosis. The censors became more reluctant to accept Dazai's offbeat work, but he managed to publish quite a bit anyway, remaining one of very few authors who managed to get this kind of material accepted in this period.

A number of the stories which Dazai published during World War II were retellings of stories by Ihara Saikaku (1642–1693). His wartime works included Udaijin Sanetomo (Minister of the Right Sanetomo, 1943), Tsugaru (1944), Pandora no hako (Pandora's Box, 1945–46), and Otogizōshi (Fairy Tales, 1945) in which he retold a number of old Japanese fairy tales with "vividness and wit."

Dazai's house was burned down twice in the American bombing of Tokyo, but Dazai's family escaped unscathed, with a son, Masaki, born in 1944. His third child, daughter Satoko, who later became a famous writer under the pseudonym Yūko Tsushima, was born in May 1947.

Soon after the war, Dazai reached the peak of his popularity with his two famous works, The Setting Sun and No Longer Human. The Setting Sun was based on a diary of a woman who he encountered in 1941, who bore him a daughter in 1941. No Longer Human was Dazai's last major work, detailing the life of Oba Yozo, a man tormented by inner conflict between his self-destructive tendencies and his societal obligations. This novel was said to be a reflection of Dazai's own life, as the story contains many parallels to the author's life.

Dazai's condition worsened on 1947. He became an alcoholic and his health was rapidly deteriorating. It was during this time that he met Tomie Yamazaki, a widow who had lost her husband just ten days after their marriage. Dazai effectively abandoned his wife and children and moved in with Tomie.

In the spring of 1948, Dazai worked on a novelette scheduled to be serialized in the Asahi Shimbun newspaper, titled Guddo bai (the Japanese pronunciation of the English word "Goodbye"). It was never finished. On June 13 1948, Dazai and Tomie drowned themselves in the rain-swollen Tamagawa canal. Their bodies were not discovered until six days later. His reasons for taking his own life remains unknown. Was it despair brought upon by his illness? An impulsive decision brought upon by his alcoholism? A final conclusion he reached after a lifetime of emptiness and lamentation? It's hard to say for certain.

    Relationships
    Kotomine Kirei/Rasputin:
"You... I sense a familiar feeling of emptiness from within."

    Emiya (Assassin):
"A Hero of Justice seeking to realize world peace, huh... Frankly, I envy you. No matter how much I try, I cannot for the life of me understand how one could hold such intense desire, no matter how foolish or unrealistic it is."

    Murasaki Shikibu:
"Aah, it's Lady Murasaki! Where's my pen, I need to get an autograph... Hm? What's with that look, Master? Even I have things I am fond of, naturally. Ahem, yes. After all, one cannot truly be called human without these feelings, don't you think?"

    Gilgamesh (Archer):
"You... Your ways remind me of him. Stay away."

    Horiki:
"Y-You... If it weren't for you... If it weren't for you... MY LIFE MIGHT HAVE MEANT SOMETHING! Killing you will not grant me the answer I'm looking for, but at the very least, I'll be able to sleep a little better knowing you're not there to lead others astray."

    Oscar Wilde:
"Ah, good day, Mr. Wilde, a pleasure to see you again. By any chance, would you like to join me for tea? I'd like to learn more about your peculiar writing style."

Two polar opposites, one symbolizing "absolute acceptance", the other symbolizing "absolute rejection". While the two are capable of interacting cordially with one another, any exchange between them seems to be strictly superficial and surface-level.

    Creator's Notes
Another tragic Berserker following Hippocleides. Hopefully my next sheet could be more lighthearted to make up for it. I thought of a running joke for him in Chaldea where he would randomly appear in various events taking up new hobbies such as cooking with Emiya, gaming with Tomoe, or practicing Lucha with Quetz, only to go into a long, self-deprecating monologue whenever he does the slightest mistake.

Also after reading this guy's life story, he probably could have been a pseudo with Fate/Zero Kirei due to their similarities.

    Servant Rider:

    Appearance
    :

    Source

    True Name: Simon Bar Kokhba

    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

    Alternate Classes: Saber, Berserker

    Strength- A
    Agility- B
    Endurance- B
    Mana- C
    Luck- C-
    NP- B+

    Personality
A proud and imperious woman with an unshakable fighting spirit. Rider acts like a strict taskmaster, not tolerating any sort of weakness in those under her command. However this isn't out of sadism but simply a desire to shape them into strong warriors who can stay alive on the battlefield. For Rider her harshness is actually a kindness if it prepares her soldiers for the reality of battle. Rider secretly cares a lot for all her men, but expresses this by fussing over their health and training regimen. In other words, a tsundere.

Rider is incredibly stubborn to the point of bloodymindedness. Once she sets her mind on something she won't back down no matter what. While a cunning tactician, her headstrong nature means Rider will often rush heedlessly into battles she has little chance of winning. Thus, a more patient Master would be best to rein in her zeal somewhat.

Rider is a devote Jew who does her best to follow all her religion's precepts, including never going into battle on the Sabbath. She deeply loves Judaism, both its people and the religion itself. Rider would give anything to make sure her people are safe, happy and free to worship as they see fit. A true patriot for her faith.

Rider does have a fatal weakness, which is her extreme paranoia. Whenever Rider is pushed in a corner mentally she'll begin suspecting her friends and allies are plotting to betray her. This trait is exacerbated by ■■■■■■■'s whisperings, poisoning Rider's heart with words to make her doubt her allies. Rider herself feels shame at this side of her, finding it a black mark on her legend that makes her unworthy of being called a "messiah". She wishes to overcome her paranoia and truly trust another, but it often gnaws at the back of her mind nevertheless.

Rider wholeheartedly admires other great Jewish heroes, like Samson and David. Her greatest idol is Judah Maccabee, who served as a rolemodel for Rider in inspiring her own rebellion. If she encountered Judah in a Grail War Rider would show a starstruck reaction akin to a fangirl meeting the hero of their favorite fantasy novel in real life.

However secretly Rider is well aware of how poorly her own legend measures up to the heroes she aspired to. Her rebellion failed due to her own hubris and ultimately only worsened the plight of her people. As such Rider holds deep feelings of shame and inferiority towards other Jewish heroes, believing she doesn't deserve to hold her head high next to them. Rider usually hides these insecurities behind her proud warrior demeanour. But sometimes they'll come out and she'll show a much more shy and embarrassed maidenly side.

Rider has a fierce hatred for Rome and all things Roman, refusing to forgive them for the oppression her people suffered. Should she face a Roman Heroic Spirit in the Grail War Rider will fly into a rage and immediately attack them, even if their Masters were allies. She'd refuse under any conditions to ally with a Roman.

Rider's wish on the Holy Grail is to go back and alter the outcome of her last stand at Beitar. Not doubting those close to her. Not betraying the trust of the Rabbis who invested their faith in her. Since her prayer for a free state of Israel has already been granted in this era, Rider's only wish is simply to have been able to lead her army with dignity in her final moments as a 'star of faith'.

Unbeknownst to Rider herself, that wish will never come true as long as ■■■■■■■ retains its grasp on her...

    Likes: Judaism, strength, discipline, "Senpai"
Dislikes: weakness, laxity, her own doubting heart, Rome
    Talents: organizing armies, rebellion
    Natural Enemy: Emperor Hadrian, ■■■■■■■

    Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance- B

Confers protection against magical effects. At this rank, spells with a chant below three verses are nullified. Even if targeted by the likes of High Thaumaturgy or Greater Rituals, it is difficult for the Servant to be affected. As a hero from well past the Age of Gods Rider wouldn't normally have such a high rank. However her devote faith and status as a (false) messiah have bolstered Rider's resistance significantly.

    Riding- A+
The ability to ride animals and handle vehicles. At this rank, all animals can be mounted and ridden at an exceptional degree of skill, even Phantasmal and Divine Beasts. Rider performed her most famous feats of strength while on horseback, supposedly being able to uproot a tree at full gallop. There's even a legend of her escaping execution by riding out on the very lion sent to devour her.

    ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■Existence Beyond The Domain- E~EX
Normally a Skill inherent to the Foreigner Class, asserting their existence outside of time and reality. In Rider's case this isn't a Skill of her human self, but one dyed into her saint graph by Lucifer. Lucifer is sealed away in Hell,
    Imaginary Number Space
a place outside of human rationality
and hence can't interact with the world normally. However through his connection to Rider Lucifer is able to manifest indirectly in the World, giving him this Skill.

Initially it's only at E-rank, but the more Rider uses her Noble Phantasm the higher the rank grows, eventually reaching EX. In that case Lucifer would be able to co-opt Rider's saint graph and manifest himself fully in the World, effectively erasing the personality known as "Rider". That would surely result in a great calamity for the world.

    Personal Skills:

    Messiah (False)- B-
A unique Skill held by those who were crowned the title of messiah in their lifetime. It serves as a variant of Charisma, letting Rider attract followers by exerting a holy presence. As well, an immunity to poisons and disease and a status falsely similar to the Divinity Skill is ascribed.

Early in her military career Rider was proclaimed the messiah by the Jewish people, believing she was the one who'd lead them into a new golden age. However, Rider's encroaching madness and failure to live up to the prophecies expected of a messiah led her to lose the faith of her people. Her assumed name
    Bar Kokhba
    Son of the Star
    was twisted into
    Bar Koziba
    Son of the Lie
as a way to mock her supposed divine status.

Hence she only possesses a (False) variant of this Skill, joining the ranks of the many false prophets and failed saviors of history. As her sanity slips, the Charisma aspect of this Skill falters, leading Rider to drive away the followers she'd acquired. True to her namesake, the trajectory of Rider's charisma follows that of a shooting star. Burning brilliantly and attracting many followers early on, before crashing and burning as they all scatter like stardust.

    Mana Burst (Star)- A

A variant of Mana Burst that allows Rider to channel the light of distant stars into her blade, wreathing it in cold stellar fire. This ability derives from her title of
    Bar Kokhba
    "Son of the Star"
, as well as the extraterrestrial nature of her sword. However, using this Skill hastens an encroachment on Rider's psyche from the alien intelligence within her sword, ranking up her Mental Pollution Skill and slowly transforming her into an avatar of ■■■■■■■.

    Mental Pollution- E~A
Possession of a distorted mentality that affords protection against mental interference based thaumaturgy. However as consequence it becomes difficult to relate to others not similarly twisted. As Rider is summoned in her "golden years" as an idealistic rebel she normally wouldn't possess this Skill that reflects her later descent into paranoia and madness.

However, the longer she uses her Noble Phantasm the more Rider's sanity decays, bringing her closer to the mentality she held near the end of her life when she was a tyrannical madwoman reviled by her own people. Rider herself is unaware of this Skill, which masks itself on her stat sheet as Zealotry at rank B.

    Military Tactics- C
Tactical instinctive ability used not for one-on-one combat, but on a battlefield where armies are mobilized. Grants bonus modifiers to using one's own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm, or defending against another's Anti-Army Noble Phantasm. As proof of having held out against the mighty Roman Empire in several fierce battles, Rider possesses this Skill. However as her rebellion was a failed one, she's incapable of attaining any higher rank than this.

    Noble Phantasms
    Bar Kokhba
    Sword Of The Stars

    Rank: B+

    Type: Anti-Unit/Anti-Divine

Rider's sword that she wielded in her revolt against the Roman Empire. A polished weapon with a beautiful yet alien appearance, clearly marking it as having been crafted by an existence higher than man. The blade gives off an ethereal, silvery-blue glow as if it was woven from the light of distant stars. It leaves a glimmering trail like stardust when swung through the air.

The sword's true nature and origins are unknown. Supposedly, it fell from heaven like a shooting star into Rider's hands, selecting her as the chosen one to free her people from tyranny. This anecdote became the basis for Rider's adopted name
    Bar Kokhba
    Son of the Star
, which was also used to refer to her rebellion.

By channelling her Mana into the blade, Rider can launch crescent-shaped blasts of cold stellar light from it. However, the sword's real power is unknown even to Rider herself. Its true name is
    Hêlêl
    Dawning Sword Of Pride
, the sword wielded by the fallen Archangel Lucifer in his rebellion against God.

When Lucifer was defeated and expelled from Heaven, his sword fell to earth alongside him, landing somewhere in what would become Judea. Eons later it was discovered by Rider, who sought a sign to take up arms against Rome. She found it, in the form of a sword that gave her divine power when she held it, enough to vanquish Romans in droves. She even got revered as the Messiah.

However, Lucifer's prideful spirit still lingers within the weapon, slowly corrupting Rider the longer she uses it. The more she draws on the sword's otherworldly power, the more her personality twists to become proud and obsessed with her own glory. This was the cause of Rider's mental degradation from life. Overusing this Noble Phantasm would eventually result in Rider's personality and even saint graph being totally overwritten by Lucifer, allowing the Prince of Lies to manifest fully in the World once more.

This Noble Phantasm also holds another function. By thrusting the sword skyward and reciting the words "Oh Master of the Universe, there is no need for you to assist us, but do not embarrass us either!" Rider can project a Bounded Field for 15 feet around the blade that nullifies the concept of divine intervention.

Skills and Noble Phantasms granted by the gods rather than one's own skill like Divinity and Affection Of The Goddess are sealed while inside the Bounded Field, forcing combatants to rely solely on their mortal abilities to prevail. This is born from both Rider's own insistence on proving herself without help from the divine, and Lucifer's pride in exalting himself above all the other angels and even God himself.

    Sheagah Amitz
    All Beasts Are My Steeds

    Rank: C

    Type: Support

A Noble Phantasm crystallizing the legend of how Rider escaped execution. Captured by the Romans, Rider was thrown into a lion's den to be devoured by the hungry beast within. However Rider unexpectedly managed to befriend the lion sent to execute her and escape by riding out on its back.

While this story originates from a later book about Rider rather than her original feats, it's still an iconic enough part of Rider's legend to become one of her Noble Phantasms.

This Noble Phantasm symbolizes Rider's resourcefulness and ingenuity in turning the very beast sent to kill her into her mount. It allows Rider to transform any animal she mounts into a C-rank Noble Phantasm. If it's a mundane animal, said mount will also have its attributes raised to the level of a mid-tier Phantasmal Beast. However this only applies to living mounts, not mechanical ones like cars or motorcycles.

Rider can even use this Noble Phantasm to commandeer the mounts of enemy Servants. If she hijacks an enemy's mount Rider will obtain authority over it as long as she stays atop it, but the enemy will regain control if she's knocked off or dismounts. This aspect of her Noble Phantasm normally isn't very useful since she already occupies the "Rider" slot in the Grail War and therefore isn't likely to encounter other Servants using mounts. However in a faction-based Grail War a la Apocrypha this Noble Phantasm could shine at its fullest potential.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So here's a remake of my old Simon Bar Kokhba Servant. I liked some of the ideas in the initial version but was unsatisfied with how it turned out for various reasons so I've been wanting to remake this one for a while. I'd been thinking of ways to help set her apart from the original when I hit upon the Lucifer connection.

That might be a bit of a stretch but I found it fairly fitting given the similarities in their legends (failed rebellion, title that references stars, pride as a fatal flaw). I basically fictionalized all of the lore surrounding her sword, other than her epithet of "Bar Kokhba", so this was a "reading between the lines of history" kind of deal.

As usual, comments and critiques would be welcome. Thanks for reading y'all!

Porting my contest entry to the main thread. Now with 90% less typos! And this is now the Japanese novelist page.
    Archer of Aesthetic Attraction

    Title:
    A Boy Who Wrote Poetry
    Class: Archer
Alternate Classes: Caster (adult), Shielder (adult)
    Alignment: True Neutral

    Attribute: Human
    Nation of Origin: Japan
Likes: Vitality, Strength, Endurance, Japan, Masculinity, Dolls, Writing
Dislikes: Family, Weakness, Fragility, Illness, Crossdressers, Writing
    Natural Enemy: Jeanne d'Arc
    Image Song: Leave my Body
Summoning Catalyst: A discoloured, sullied book on European art

    STR: E
    AGI: D
    END: C
    MGI: B
    LCK: E
    NP: D+++

    Class Skills:

    Independent Action
The ability that allows for action even in the absence of a Master.

    • B: It is possible for a Servant to stay in the world for two days without a Master. However, this is the ideal value achieved by maximally conserving mana and avoiding battle and Noble Phantasm usage. Despite his subdued distaste for overt individualism, Archer operates best when employing hit-and-run tactics at a distance from his Master, so this Skill proves a valuable boon.

    Magic Resistance

    Grants protection against magical effects.

    • E: By the time of his birth, Mystery was already thin in Archer's time. Even low-rank spells have a chance of succeeding without being rejected. Really, it's a pittance provided by his class container.

    Personal Skills
    Personal Skills:

    Chasing the Boundary
The tendency of a person to idealise their demise. Grants protection against death and charm effects.

    • A-: The gift of a boy who loves his end. Since an early age, Archer has sat himself stooped in a mire of ideation on mankind's mortality. Spurred by the erratic and oft violent personality of his grandmother, an autocratic woman of fine lineage who crafted for her kin a childhood deprived of much human contact, Archer's compositions display an almost sensual preoccupation with death, particularly that promised end when brought about by a person's own hand, the sole salvation contemplated again and again by a boy with no escape from his cage. Differing distinct from the At the Boundary possessed by the greatest of Assassins, Chasing the Boundary does not denote one who walks in death, rather one who pursues it, and Archer chased that conclusion til the day he at last of himself made an end. It is the Skill of one who's grown accustomed to death, knowing its call holds no mystery. For he who too many a time pictured perfect how prettily the edge of a blade might paint rivulets of red across moonkissed skin, what lay beyond the veil of death has lost its luster, somewhat. As such, protection is provided against instant death effects of rank B or below, and even abilities that would forcibly impose suicidal urges are easily shaken off. Despite having actually taken his life much later, it is at this early age that Archer is at the stage in his life where he is embedded deepest in suicidal desires, thus his rank in this Skill sits beyond what his older self would possess. Where the elder Archer would be a fine wine, this boy finds the prospect of death still fresh, and thirsts for it still. Only on his own terms does he permit his demise.
    • With regards to protection against charm effects, however, the effectiveness finds itself reduced somewhat on account of Archer's aesthetics. While his works as an adult better elaborate on his ideals, even as a youth Archer has developed the principle that will suffuse his writings: the syncretism he found between blood and manhood, and death with eroticism. Homoeroticism, to be more precise, for a writer so obsessed with masculinity. This is the author, after all, who in his own self-ascribed mythology, describes his first sexual awakening first and foremost as painful, couching even his first love wrapped thick in morbidity. The prospect of love, to Archer, is something felt in the throat, choking out reason, fitting then he fell for a nightsoil worker, a conveyer of filth. Because he draws the connection of erotic=death and sensual=tragedy, charm effects deriving from attractive men function without interference, affecting Archer even when he would not typically fall under their purview.
    • Incidentally, if a good-looking man were to ask him to die together... There really is no telling if Archer would find it in himself to resist. Such is the young man who found soldiers so charming, knowing their greatest appeal was that they one day would die.

    Lifeblood of the Nation

Benefits received from the selfless devotion to one's nation, usually on a conceptual or romanticised level. A resistance against mental or spiritual effects is automatically awarded, along with other benefits based upon the strength of the Servant's conviction.

    • C: The gift of a boy who loves his culture. As a grown man, Archer will one day establish a community known as the Shield Society, a militia to maintain those traditional values most dear to his heart. Denouncing intellectualism, liberalism, the decay of morals and the spread of big business, they embodied the man Archer at his peak of patriotic fervour, and in a failed attempt at seizing political power would provide him with the perfect stage upon which to take his own life, exactly as planned. It is this organisation that becomes his Noble Phantasm when summoned as his older self in the Caster and Shielder classes. However well the older Archer calculated far in advance every detail of his suicide is of no relevance, regardless, to his young incarnation.
    • No, for the young Archer, the nation as he surveys it is far more specific, far more vague, far more personal than the romanticised Imperial Japan of old he will later come to adore. It is the deliberate, adoring perception of 'Japanese masculinity' that found its way into all of his writings. It was at the age of twelve that Archer left his grandmother's imperious care behind for the home of his father, a man of discipline, who would subject Archer to such spartan treatment as to hold him against a rushing train when he earned his displeasure. Perhaps it was here he developed an obsession with traditional masculinity, figures suffused with a sense of vitality and strength a sickly, sensitive child like himself could only long for - certainly, throughout his life Archer always sought to become his antithesis, to forge himself through adversity into something that might transcend his life as a writer, as a child who spoke like a woman and sat meek like a boy.
    • Archer's philosophy on strength - the strength a Japanese man should hold - is simple. Action creates muscle, and it is in muscle that there resides beauty. To build such a body requires pain, expenditure of effort, all taken with the spilling of blood. A man of action lives to die, for dying is the proof he is alive, ergo he must be filled with vitality. The surest way to affirm one's body holds vitality is in the feeling of pain, in bleeding, for only a man with a body built through training and self-inflicted suffering might endure it. To Archer, the body untrained is not a body. It is a symbol of unmanliness; it is dead from the start.
    • Grants bonuses to Endurance when faced with those who oppose his own conception of masculine Yamato Damashii. The list is long, but includes writers, scientists, feminine men, women, merchants, politicians, pacifists, and so on. The effect is enhanced further when the opponent is of Japanese origin, for to Archer falls the task of punishing their falling short of his standards. As he suffers blows through battle, Archer's Endurance will continue to rise in accordance with the pain he suffers and the blood that is shed, as if it is through suffering he best recalls he's alive. This does not protect him from necessarily fatal blows; it is merely the guarantee that no matter the harm he endures, he will be able to endure it.

    Persona - Mask's Confession
Distortion Skill created due to Servant's unique temperament.

    • A: The gift of a boy who loves his craft. A combination of the Espionage wielded by spies and the Confessional Composition associated with a subset of noteworthy novelists. To best understand this Skill and its implications would be to situate in context, in the Japan Archer knew and the rise of the 'I novel.' Closer to memoirs than anything else, the I novel was a naturalist form of work that eschewed creation for truth and sought exposure over the establishing of fiction, where the novelist composed works portraying without reservation his own emotions, his own experiences, and his own perspective as a member of society, believing that in 'the path that turns inwards' there was some greater meaning that might be conveyed. Individualism and self-expression were key.
    • Archer did not fall within this category. His own initial work that propelled him to fame, Confessions of a Mask, at first resembles the structure of the I-novel, until one observes the distance Archer cultivates between himself and the inscrutable 'I' who serves as his narrator. Where the I-novelist confesses so he might expose himself for the reader's judgement, Archer intentionally created a disconnect between protagonist and novelist, and so invites his reader to speculate as to where truth ends and fiction begins, for one comes conveyed through the other. Rather than directly expose the author's heart, here his history comes packaged with the prospect of falsehood and self-spun mythologising. It is the mask that confesses, not Archer himself, yet to concede the mask's exists at all is a confession itself. Where the I-novelist attempts to convey some truth about himself by curating anecdotes into a published piece, Archer concedes that to curate at all means any truth conveyed is itself merely fiction and, understanding this divide, confesses to his reader merely that he like all people deliberately curates and crafts a mask he might show to the world.
    • As a Skill, Archer has the ability to create Masks that reflect the different 'hims' he displays, fitting for one who while shy in a crowd pursued side projects as both model and actor - not to show 'himself' but the different forms of 'himself' he had created and fictionalised for that very purpose. Rotating through Masks such as Kou, Yuichi, and Mizoguchi, Archer possesses a number of false identities he can swap through at will. These Masks are, while part of him, both imperceptible as being Servants and imperceptible as being linked; that is to say, even though his appearance does not change, no-one who sees one of Archer's Masks will identify him as Archer, or an enemy Servant, or that the various Masks are even the same individual. Even curses, or scrying attempts, or Noble Phantasms that specifically designate 'a person' as their target can be negated by swapping between Masks; the Mask will take the blow, be expended, and Archer himself will go unhurt. So long as he invests the time to create a new novel, Masks can be created without end.

    Noble Phantasm

    Sebastianus Eiaculor
The Beginnings of My Bad Habit

    Rank: D+++
    Type: Anti-Unit
There is, it must be said, a rather infamous anecdote taken from Confessions of a Mask, though as with all such claims in his work its veracity must be held to some scrutiny. Azusa Hiraoka, Archer's father, had in his travels through Europe on business come into contact with some number of books regarding Italian art. Fearing for his son's chastity, that the image of female eroticism might stir something within the child, he made an attempt at concealing the volumes in a dusty cupboard - right where, so Confessions of a Mask claims, they would found by Archer at the tender age of twelve while off from school. What those books of European art would awaken within him, he later describes, was an electrifying, unforgettable experience.

For it would not be the depictions of women that aroused his attention. Rather, what caught his eye was a painting by Guido Reni, a portrait of the martyr Saint Sebastian. A man laid almost completely bare, tied to a tree, flesh impaled by arrows. A man who earned - for his beautiful pale skin, firm body, and expression so utterly serene unknowing of an impending demise - Archer's immortal infatuation. A boy stimulated so utterly by sado-masochistic images of suicide and masculinity, falling in love at first sight.

Having had his imaginations so depravingly stirred by his image, perhaps it is no surprise Archer takes his inspiration from Sebastian for this Noble Phantasm. A rather simple ability on the surface, Sebastianus Eiaculor bestows on Archer the ability to create arrows in flight, fired at great speed - at himself. Arrows may appear at any point within twenty feet centered on Archer, are fired in a straight line, and dissipate the moment they would make contact with him. An ability that relies on creating an arrow while the opponent is between himself and its 'spawn point,' it is more a nuisance than anything else. For this is not its purpose.

Self-loathing, stimulation, eroticism, demise. These four notions take a centre stage in Archer's cognition, and it is these that best empower his Noble Phantasm. Whenever he experiences shame, whenever he learns he is despised, whenever he feels lust, whenever he is rejected, whenever he suffers, whenever he is known. Whenever Archer becomes the subject of shame or guilt or disgust, be it that of himself or others, a single arrow, invisible to all but himself and his Master, will harmlessly take root in his chest. Just as so many shafts were buried in the body of Sebastian, Archer can deliberately expose himself as he did in life through his masks to accrue more of these arrows, subject himself to ever greater levels of masochistic glee. The more he exposes himself, ashamed, the more arrows take root. The greater the exposure, the greater his suffering and the greater his suffering, the closer he feels to death. The closer he feels to death, the mightier his arousal, and so the mightier this Noble Phantasm when its true name is spoken. At any time, Archer may unleash every arrow he has collected at once, firing a barrage of Divine, saintly arrows, each one imbued with creative energy and the concepts of 'all that possesses love/lust or inspires love/lust must die.' A great spiritual ecstasy, to be sure. To give an idea of how this may appear, we turn to Archer's own description of that important event.

"That day, the instant I looked upon the picture, my entire being trembled with some pagan joy. My blood soared up; my loins swelled as though in wrath. The monstrous part of me that was on the point of bursting awaited my use of it with unprecedented ardour, upbraiding me for my ignorance, panting indignantly. My hands, completely unconsciously, began a motion they had never been taught. I felt a secret, radiant something rise swift-footed to the attack from inside me. Suddenly it burst forth, bringing with it a blinding intoxication . . ."

Spiritual ecstasy followed by spiritual orgasm, in short.

    Lore
Mishima Yukio was a 20th century Japanese novelist, who also expanded his talents into poetry, plays, film, modeling and eventually, political activism. An aesthete to his core, his works are best remembered for their obsessive fusion of eroticism and beauty with death and suicide, all compacted by this own unique spin of right-wing nationalism. Having churned out over a hundred works across multiple mediums in the course of his life, his legacy remains marred by the manner of his death: ritual suicide following a failed attempt at overthrowing those in power.

Archer, however, is not that man. He is Hiraoka Kimitake, a boy who has yet to completely adopt the pen name by which he will later be known. A boy who embraces the knowledge he will one day die at his own hand in accordance with his own principles as a consequence of his own actions with some violent cheer; no greater masculinity can there be than a frail sickly boy assuming control absolute of his death and as such, his life. Called forth as a Servant, his personality is no less contradictory and impenetrable as that of his older self, at times reticent and moody yet at others joyous and outgoing, for to portray himself exactly as he wishes to be portrayed has always been his great calling.

da Vinci would call him an exhibitionist. He would not deny it.

While it's not quite a dark sense of humour, Archer does delight in mortality, beneficial when his best bet at combat in any Grail War is to constantly expose himself to danger in his various masks via hit-and-run tactics. He's likely to express a deep admiration if not attraction for any other participants he encounters, provided they in turn impress upon him the strength of their resolve. Having been denied the chance to see combat as a soldier in life, finally facing battle is a gift to him, one for which he's willing to overlook the cowardly means he must employ to keep himself alive long enough to achieve a glorious end.

A Master who meets his personal standards of valour and strength may be able to wrangle him into line. Any other poor sap will have to endure a boy who cares far more about his
    love
    aesthetics
than anything so base as actually winning.

To be a Servant is to receive a second chance at living - or dying, as the case may be - one Archer will not deny himself. With an alarming sensitivity, he observes his Master and other Servants for what little insight he can claim, that he might find something to reinvent himself once again. The masks he wears have always been aspirational; by setting himself a target in the form of a false personality, he forces himself to live it, understand it, and through this become it. Even after death, he wishes to live. He wishes to die. Living is to be in a state of growth, to undergo ordeals and emerge as more than he was, here being Archer's wish: To become a being distinct from the older 'Mishima Yukio,' and then die as a finished product. If the fate his older self achieved has already been decided, then there is nothing to be proud of in not making his own end, dying as the Hiraoka Kimitake only he as Archer can be.

His heart is always concealed behind one mask or another. He may never be understood. That is fine. He never wanted to be understood. He has only ever wanted to be believed.

    To be loved.

So as i were busy with the contest have i now opportunity the works of the others

Caterina Sforza :She is a great Servant that smells after Canon material please dont take it bad ),She feels like an very good candidate for an villain Position but i can see that with a Fitting MAster and dependet on the other participants of the Grailwar that she could also shift during the Story in the role of an anti hero.

I have three Questions:Firrst i got that she uses an medieval musket type range weapon has she methodd if she is forced in direct short range/Hand to Hand Combat Options has she some martial art proficience ?

second :;What do get the Targets of her Tigre di Forli noblephantasm exactly which wisdom respectively what power does they receive im curious?

third im really curious how she would think of my Dante Alighieri ? given that he is an landsman of Italy firstly and secondly as he is also an Enemy of the Vatican as he didnt aknowledged the Vatican and acted against him in public but also behind the Scenes in that he were deeply conected with the Templer Knight order even after their forced disbanment by the French King and the Pope has he coordinated them and were their advisor also would they have in common that both are quite pragmatic and both are highly passionsfull persons which are the driving force behind their Actions .

Also would she also has enough skill in Thaumaturgy to qualify as Caster after your Evaluation Sleepmode and what would she thnk of (my) Hermes Trismegistos as he is the being which was the first Alchemic Practioner ?

Tommelise:She is presumably the smallest possible servant i asume ? but i think she is really sweet . i must say good idea Zero !

Baphomet:She is also a good idea albeit like he most of your servants does this profile look so short and could have more Depth would i say ?regardless im curious what she would think of my HAdes ?

Ada Lovelace :a really good sheet Awesome ! She is quite well done your idea of making her relationship towards her Father an importan part gives her personlity an Deep meaning and i can see as hacker would she be in an digital world like the mooncell basically a God(dess) one Question is she only interested in technical Things or does she also has an interest in ancient Information Sources ?all in aall has this profile encouraged me to think again on an Tesla Caster servant .

Kresnik of rejection: A new Kresnik nice but i must really say "her" noblephantasm does Sound not worthy enough for the third Magic what would be if her tendrills steals or drains dirctly the sopul of the victim ?and why does her Hood has an Pikachu pattern ?

Damascius:He is really simple like you say i have the Feeling that an Foreigner class Version of him might be more intersting .

Faker"Richard":He is quite good but his second noblephantasm puh if animate in an anime Adaption ….that would be an intense scenary f you ask me but reminds me on the Scene where Sieg used Blasted Tree against Tokisada .

Alter Ego okey interesting towards her "I say Nothing Snooper !2 Litle joke aside she is interesting is she not Hisui from tsukihime ?

    Noble Phantasm

    The Physician of Myddfai
    Meddygon Myddvai

    Rank: Anti-unit, C

Caster's Noble Phantasm takes the form of a tome who he received from his mother. It contains all of his knowledge about healing technics and herbs.
When using it, Caster receives an effect similar to High-Speed Incantation. He can finish in minutes concoctions who would take an entire day to Brew and instantly cast healing magic at full effect without needing the entire incantation.
The appearance of the tome is very unassuming, being a simple red binding book with fairy writing on the cover. Between all the spells in it, Caster's favorite one who allows for, if you have been struck three times, safely retreat from the battlefield.

    Background

Caster is Rhiwallon the Physician, he was the son of a young man, son of a widow from Blaen Sawdde, and a
    Maiden of the Lake
    Gwragedd Annwn
from the lake of Llyn y Fan Fach. The maiden only agrees to the marriage under the condition that they should only be together until the young man struck her three times without cause, upon which she would leave him forever.
When they were married they went to live at a farm called Esgair Llaethdy near the village of Myddfai. They were happy and prosperous and became the parents of three beautiful sons, Caster being the eldest, but the wife continued to exhibit strange fairy behavior such as weeping at weddings (because marriage often brings trouble) and laughing at funerals (because death brings release from trouble). At each instance of this, her husband struck her a blow, not an angry or harmful one, but enough to break the terms of their marriage contract. Upon the third one, she left him forever and took all their livestock back with her to the fairy realm.
The sons often walked around the lake hoping to see their mother again. One day she appeared to the eldest son, Caster, presented him with a collection of medicinal prescriptions and instructions and told him that his future and that of his descendants was to be a healer. She later returned and passed him information on herbs and plants to be used in cures. In due course, Caster went to the court of Rhys Gryg of Deheubarth, where he became a famous doctor, as did his own sons, who became known as the Physicians of Myddfai.

    personality

Caster is a very friendly person. His calm attitude and soft smile have an aura to them that endears people to him. However, he is not a fighter and his aversion to violence makes him extremely unsuited for direct combat.
He has a rather odd sense of humor and will occasionally crack jokes that no one understands, and laugh out loud while everyone looks astonished. Apparently, he got it from his mother.

Poor Rhiwallon, so obscure he doesn't even get his own Wikipedia article.

That said, how's he supposed to win a Grail War if he doesn't appear to have any fighting skill?

Hmm, maybe it's like Hans, merely supporting a competent (in this regard) Master instead?

Rhiwallon: Pretty neat overall. It's rare seeing a totally defensive Servant with no offensive options, and as Skull says I'm not entirely sure how he'd fare in any Grail War but he's an interesting character nevertheless. Would definitely fill a buff/support character niche in GO. Also, any thoughts on my Bar Kokhba?

Exactly. Give him the right Master, like maybe someone who is crazy strong but damages himself or something, and together they can probably do quite a lot of damage

How would Asclepius work in a normal Grail war? It's pretty much the same deal. Also, your servant is interesting, but I kinda feel like she could've been two separate servants. A Rider to represent her earlier years, and a Berserker for her later years.

Bar Kokbha: I have no idea what her legend is, but the sheet is pretty good. I like that her sword has a defensive ability and her Second NP looks like the sort of thing who would result in a epic revelation or moment midway into the story when she finally puts it to use. The Lucifer stuff is kind weird but acceptable and does help enhance the sheet so it's okay.
