I posted this in SB.
Ok, so here's the cliff's notes: Sakura also summoned a HS (Jack) due to reasons, she thought Shirou was up to no good and tried to eliminate him with the help of said HS, church (headed by Kirei) and alchemists (with Misaya in front) teamed up with shirou to hunt her down because they thought Sakura was up to no good. Stuff happened. Sakura lost. Kirei died.
There was a third party that shirou and co. don't know about.
That third party teamed up with Rin cause Rin wants to fix Aoi after she was brain damaged by Kariya's strangling in zero.
The talking appliances are from the feedback of one of shirou's experiments to charge Fran IIRC.
I should reread the story too.
Oh, did you? Thanks for doing that, Kyte. I appreciate it.
Spoiler:
Somebody was asking the same as here so I replied on the phone while waiting for stuff.
Well, that's certainly happening a lot earlier than expected. Goes to show what happens when things go off the rails as much as they do here. It makes for a fairly unique rendition of the Holy Grail War, only a couple Servants fielded at a time, but presumably the whole roster having potential to show over the course of its progression.
Chapter highlight: Obviously, Taiga being referee and babysitter to a veritable Williams-Sonoma of talking appliances. Because it's the little things that make a story shine. Especially when the little things themselves are shiny.
My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.
I've got more twists waiting to keep things interesting, even if the road had to lead to a Grail War.
Appreciate you taking the time to read, IRUn
