Yes, meant Shin Koihime. Though it's important to keep in mind that VN length really varies between people. For example, it took me exactly 81 hours to get through all of F/SN.

It's hard to believe it, cause I read through the whole F/SN in 20-24 hours without skipping. I am a moderately fast reader.

After a quick browse through TVTropes, I found out that there is actually a detective VN. Can't pass that by. So now I'm playing Kara no Shoujo. I think the translation's actually an official one or something like that.

There is also Hotel Dusk and Last Widow for the DS, which are "detective" VNs.

Tbh, they have more in line with Phoenix Wright and 999 Hours then with the "lucasarts"-style adventure games.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd assume he means KOTOR and the like.

While any game can be termed an 'adventure' of sorts, I think he meant it in the style of Ace Attorney etc. KOTOR is an RPG. One of the best ones if you ask me.

Better then me, Half way through Fate despite the fact Saber is my favorite T_T and also for the same reason.

Sam and Max? The Secret of Monkey Island? I do hope at least those ring a bell. LucasArts adventure games, while not VNs, are classics of the genre from before it died.

Oh, those two are very widely known but I never knew they were from Lucasarts. When you say Lucasarts I usually think of Star Wars, naturally. The Jedi Knight series, KOTOR I&II, The Fate Unleashed I&II etc.

EDIT: The Fate Unleashed? Lol, we so need this crossover...
