Melty Blood: Actress Again Current Code PC Release Date Set

    Copy/Pasted from Aroduc's Blog...
In continued mystifying Type-Moon fashion, MBAACC is FINALLY getting a return to the PC this December packaged as a bonus item as part of Carnival Phantasm’s third episode Limited Edition Box(episode 1 of which is out now… like, literally probably went on sale within about an hour of this post). I… do not understand why it’s like that, but it’s one of my favorite fighters and that makes me happy. I barely remember back in this blog’s genesis when I counted down to MBAC PC’s release date. I think those were all purged from the archive in the great cleansing of 2010 though. Now I just need to reteach myself how to play the bloody game before I get to abuse all the fun changes to Len… like an overhead! And momentum preserving ice spikes!
I just hope I don't need to upgrade my PC... I still want to use the Onboard/Integrated Video Card on my Motherboard...

This bond we have is like poison... Just one drop would destroy them all, no prisoners taken...

I can't see why the system specs required would be any higher really.

    Indeed.
That kind of filtering shouldn't be anything much,
you may even be able to turn it off (crossing fingers).

You know they said they don't actually plan a standalone version do you?

Well you could just pretend that you're buying MB and CP is a free gift. Or something.

    This.
CP is fun and all, but it's not something I'd go out and buy.
Having such a flashy Blu-Ray case in my room would be kind of embarassing.

OH GOD I WANT THIS SO MUCH

I've been playing Actress Again on my friend's modded PS2 and I HATE THE PS2 CONTROLLER for fighting games in general, so I tried playing it via emulator and it plays smoothly most of the time but also has annoying-ass lag sometimes.

AACC PC VERSION. DO. FUCKING. WANT.

Heh, I've got this nifty arcade stick for both the PS2 and the PS3/PC,
Could never manage using a dualshock controller for a fighter.

I got my stick modded but didn't want to pay 10 extra bucks for PS1 and 2 compatibility.
After a month of owning that thing I found out about MBAA.

I got a Classic Controller to UBS adapter so I use my wii classic controller pro for PC games unless I have to have analog stick buttons in which case I always have my logitech. The Wii fight sticks apparently work with the CC to USB adapter and the adapter apparently works with PS3s so I'm all set
    Code:
[07:55:59] <Spinach> Take off your clothes Kirby
    [07:56:07] <Kirby> I'm in class

That's too simple, you need at least 5 wires, 3 different kinds of controllers, and 4 adapters of various sorts
    Code:
[07:55:59] <Spinach> Take off your clothes Kirby
    [07:56:07] <Kirby> I'm in class

[20:37:34] <Lian|phone> there is a such thing as lingerie for guys?

Same here. I even managed to master C-Arcueid's air ring-loops in MBAA. It's hard but not impossible if you're used to it, most people in Melty Bread are already accustomed to arcade sticks.

Thats because arcade sticks are infinitley superior to every other form of input ever created by man if you ask forum members of various fighting game communities.
In fact, I am writing with an arcade stick because of it's superiority.

But seriously. I love arcade sticks. Air combos were a fucking nightmare before I started using them.

Lies. I'm using a selfmade keyboard for PS2. It is godlike. It's also a cigar box.

My Arcade stick has Nu-13, Mu-12 and Lambda-11 on it, and a signatures by Toshimichi Mori and Daisuke Ishiwatari.
    I don't need cigars.

My pillow doubles as an arcade stick, supercomputer, monitor, suitcase, minibar, and stool, all at the same time

I mostly used my Logitech Precision pad for my first 5-or-so years of playing fighting games and just recently switched to a proper stick.
Honestly, just stick with anything and it'll do the job eventually.
I did notice that while it was difficult at first, i adjusted fairly well to the stick fast,
and a lot of motions that i found somewhat impractical on pad feels much better on the stick.
