Archer accidentally drank Gil's youth potion and reverted to his appearance as Shirou.

His personality did not, causing shenanigans.

Because chances are Future!Shirou is going to be a fairly different person than EMIYA,

Also there are a lot of fan's of EMIYA who think Shirou is an idiot for some strange reason, and vice versa with a few Shirou fan's saying that Shirou would never end up like EMIYA.

Because character growth can make people change completely from who they used to be?
Because unlike crappy fanfiction versions of future characters, EMIYA acts differently and thinks differently from Shirou?
Because people change as they get older, and most adults aren't carbon copies of their kid selves?
