Trying to read American Psycho. Cannot get myself to keep reading anything past the first few chapters. Goddammit.

I feel your pain. I read it, and I usually like things like that but... not American Psycho. It's boring as hell.

Right now, I'm reading a Harry Potter fanfic called Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality. I'd heard of it before, but I had avoided it because it sounded like the kind of pretentious bullshit I really, really hate.

However, a friend convinced me to give it a go, and it's better than I thought it would be. Not quite to my taste and I can't really say I like it, but it's well written, kind of informative, and it's OK.

Also, recently bought the first book of Micheal Scoot's Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series, not a bad read at all.

On the manga scene, I'm rereading High School of the Dead. Gets even better when reread.

The author is a massive douche. I think there was something where he promised to bring out chapters faster if people donated to a non-profit organization (that pays him his salary).

Quite possibly the only FFX-2 fanfic I've ever read that didn't suck.

Currently reading a lot of nonfiction I love but most would consider boring.

In fiction the newer chapters of the Bakemonogatari series (no it hasn't been updated lately). I think that the tying up might be a hint at their nightlife, it certainly seems in character for her.

Also http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7082084/...ols_Tournament, a P3 fic with Hamuko and Minato that doesn't suck (amazing!). If the writer really is only 15 and Spanish then it's even more impressive to me.

Still reading Hooker, and wow is it good. Never got this much insight to the old US and its views on....everything. For example: If you don't know Ed Lewis, you don't know SHIT about sports in the 1920's.

I'm currently reading the after-anime To Aru light novels.

    Chapter 15: Prince VS Pauper

A whole world away from Fuyuki, in a city of mages, a new War threatens to break out. Seven new Masters are chosen and enter a life-changing battle, unknowingly becoming part of a War in which there are more players than the eyes can see...

About halfway through the second novel of something something Ice and Fire, I stop to wonder what it is that has people singing its praises. I know, there are about four volumes left, and "winter is coming", and dragons and living corpses and shit have just started to show up, but I am losing all will to live.

I am the herp of my derp. Hurr is my body and durr is my blood. I have created over a thousand derps unknown to durps nor known to hurps
have withstood durrs to create many derps yet, those hurrs will never herp anything so, as I pray, Unlimited Derp Works

    ...or something.

Been skim-reading Wicked for a month or two now. Not sure if I had already mentioned that here, but thought I might.

I don't think Goethe watched PMMM.

Shouldn't it be "there a lot of references of this in Madoka"?
