funny because i actually did a reread yesterday and realize it actually have some shortcomings as well as the exciting parts
may have rated it a wee bit too high

Could you elaborate? I'm not that big on Oathbringer either, but I can't quite put my finger on what bothers me, other than a general sense of dispersion.
don't quote me on this
the bad parts for me are, if i have to put in words, would be "convenience" by rushing, i guess? things are moving kinda fast, which is ok on its own, but i feel like it wasnt foreshadowed, or not foreshadowed well and properly enough. the one i think is most glaring is whenof course, its not the only criminal here. there are stuffs here and there that i felt slightly rushing it anc couldve been more properly foreshadowed. theyre all small things, really, but when added up it made a book that i thought to be "exhilirating" down to "p good".Spoiler:
so those're not really a giant fault, not at all; theyre small, but theyre everywhere
i think another problem is that sanderson crammed a lot of worldbuilding stuffs and materials, so much that it felt more like infodump. things may get foreshadowed in those infodumps, but more often than not its obscured by the overwhelming amount of theinfodump itself that it doesnt feel like proper foreshadowing. But this one is kinda an IMO.
its actualy kinda hard for me to grasp too

Yeah, just that i thinknit could be handled better.
Things are really jampacked in this series, most "interludes" kinda got forgotten over time for me lol

Fuck I have no idea what on Earth to read next.
I’d kind of like something not super serious or depressing, but fuck there sure are a lot of serious and or depressing books on my Plan To Read
Thinking in systems: a primer if you want to learn stuff.
[22:42] <Leo> look it's not our fault we can function properly with a cock in our mouthes
Been meaning to read some of Pelevin’s work
anyone doing any reading that’s related to Black History Month
not super serious or depressing ehhhh
kolakowski's Main Currents of Marxism
かん汗ぎゅう牛じゅう充とう棟
Expresses the exceeding size of one's library.
Books are extremely many, loaded on an oxcart the ox will sweat.
At home piled to the ridgepole of the house, from this meaning.
Read out as 「Ushi ni ase shi, munagi ni mitsu.」

Finished Last Dragon Standing of the Heartstriker series by Rachel Aaron.
For an ending, it was not as epic as I hoped to be, but it was a neat closure of a happy ending.
Im fond of the series. It wasnt mindblowing or super spectacular, but it gave me a weird sense of comfiness. it just really fits me.
One of the thing I really like, for example, is how neat the magic system was. Quite a balance between soft and hard magic. An it makes sense logically and sometimes physically too.
It is not a A+++ rank series, but one that i can happily recommend to others in search of magic slash modern sort of series.

I really don’t know what to make of The Vegetarian by Han Kang
like, surface level is about this woman going completely insane but I’m missing the point
what is this book even about
Read the Prince of Thorns. The protagonist is a total gary stu edgelord, but it wasn't terrible.
Thank god for you Sesto.
