Getting your fetchlands hit by Peeking Needle in Modern is going to really really suck.

I don't think it's hugely more likely to happen than it is with the one we've got now.

Well you can maindeck it to pseudo-Sinkhole your opponents, something you can't reliably do with Needle (although Lantern tries to).

IMO, like Hymn to Tourach, it's a 2-drop with the potential to create non-games via mana screw. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Can you use more than one deck for the tourney?

Like, bringing one deck to some matches and another to others? Or sideboarding into something totally different between games?

I personally feel committing to one deck, just like choosing/building that deck in the first place, is part of the skill test, but we've always run these on a consensus basis, so I guess it depends what everyone else says.

I had some middling draws, which compared in no way to Raff's really poor luck with the top of his deck, so I took a 2-0.

I know that technically the only "legendary cycle" are the Grixis gods, but we do have a monocolored legendary creature in each color except green.
