Kolaghan is a pretty bro Dragon as far Dragons go.
Doesn't murder everyone, leaves the old Khan alive, and just keeps flying fast.

All the other dragons are dicks.
Kolaghan just goes fast.

Yeah what a stand-up pal.

Meanwhile Atarka just accepted food and demanded nothing else.

Even Ojutai, arguably, was less of a dick about it since it only killed those who'd killed dragons and didn't ask the Jeskai to throw away their book-keeping. (There was some revisionist history though hence the arguably.)

Yeah, but Atarka isn't going to stop the dragons from fucking the Temur.

"[Abzan] understand that the world is a brutal place, and that to survive in it, they must be able to rely on and trust the people around them. Duty and family have consequently become the mainstays of Abzan society."
"Above all, the Abzan value family. Family is the institution that has allowed them to persist and even thrive. The level of trust that members of the clan have for one another is typically linked to closeness of blood. Betrayals of such trust can result in a ritual disowning, where both parties shed blood into a fire. By contrast, if a clan member refers to another clan member as sister or brother, it is a mark of high esteem."
- Planeswalkers' Guide to Khans of Tarkir
There is more to Abzan than spirit/ancestor honoring and necromancy.
Yeah.
And the clan no longer exists, after a civil war and losing a huge part of their tradition and their guides.
In exchange for...an asshole dragon that won't even let them call themselves Abzan.
Wow Dromoka is sure a lot better than the alternatives!

All the dragons have similar values to their equivalent clan, lol. That's not unique to Dromoka.

Anyway what matters is what they had to sacrifice. Let's look:
Sultai: We don't know, aside from Silumgar being their leader and Tasigur getting screwed over.
Abzan: Their name, Dromoka becomes their leader, their ancestors (and thus a significant part of their tradition) and their magic.
Jeskai: Their dragon-slayers were killed and they had to alter their records. Unknown if Ojudai rules actively or just kind of hangs there.
Temur: Food.
Mardu: Their flag lol.
So in order of lesser loss:
Mardu, Temur, Abzan/Jeskai (assumes Jeskai's records are as important as Abzan's literal ghosts, depends on how active Ojudai is).
We just don't know enough about Sultai; for all we know Tasigur got fucked and everyone else went on as usual except now under a dragon.

I'm assuming everyone lost their name.
I doubt Mardu will continue being called Mardu and stuff.
Kolaghan and Atarka don't actually seem to care at all about the clan destroying action.

I think the clans will just naturally fade away.
Mardu is just going to be a bunch of people trying to race Kolaghan and will lose most sense of unity.
That's what i understood at least from them giving up the flag and whatnot
- FRF and DTK will be drafted together.
- FRF has all 10 common dual taplands.
- FRF has 10 multicolored cards: 5 rare ally colored legends, 5 common enemy colored instants
- FRF has 5 rare mono colored legends with abilities that activate with hybrid mana of ally color/common enemy color.
FRF is pretty light on the multicolor side... so DTK factions may be monocolored indeed. It's a big time skip after all.
But if the FRF status quo holds, I think it makes more sense if DTK has 5 ally color factions, with some enemy/wedge colored subversives. The storyline and the common dual taplands are the main reasons I think that.
Man, I'd love to get a new 5-colored Sarkhan.
don't quote me on this
