It involves pulling out all my collectibles in front of some friends one beer fuelled night. Coins, stamps, overpower cards, and MTG. It was in a plastic hard case that fell apart into two pieces pretty easily.

Megamorph was making the original design more complex, since it started off with you getting a counter on the morph straight away instead of not knowing whether it's a morph or megamorph until they flip it.

Feels like the original would play better though, because mucking around with the morph stage seems to add more than with the face-up card. Guess we'll see, given how little of the set's been spoiled.

But dragons, man! DRAGONS!

DTK has 26 all-new dragons to add to the 11 FRF dragons, 4 M15 dragons and 3 Theros block dragons.

And that's just Dragon creature cards; I'm not counting Ugin or Sarkhan or other dragon themed cards.

It's going to be the dragonest Standard EVER!

Now if only they would take Origins in this direction...

Sadly the Dromoka one has the head of a Halo Elite and I can't say I'm a fan of that.

Welp, into the esper control deck it goes.

It seems we're going to have a full cycle of ally color Commands.

So how does this one size up to Cryptic Command? The lifegain is a bit meh, but in some kinds of decks it will be a good choice. The nullify effect is good. The graveyard recursion is pretty insane considering the amount of relevantly colored 2CMC creatures (HELLO MR SNAPCASTER) that get play. And the cantrip is business as usual. Plus Ojutai Command is less color heavy and can fit in shard/wedge/domain decks.

So what will this mean:

2UW: I counter you, draw a card, oh, also, now it's my turn. Good luck doing nothing.

or

2UW: I counter you, also you know my hate bear? well it's back, oh, also, now it's my turn.
