    Damn it, this is gonna be another city affected by a hurricane. I really hope it won't be the case.

    You know, call me morbid or whatever you want (Not to mention spoileriffic if you neve saw this), but this reminded me of that book in The Addams Family in which Uncle Fester uses it to blow away his evil 'mother' and Tully at the climax to the movie.

    What was the name of that book? Just see the thread title. =/

    Yeah, It will come around on Saturday morning. My family already double checking preparations for this thing. And I got plenty of my stuff I need to put somewhere safe...I've already put most of them in a closet.

    Hope your house has good protection against leaks and all. You don't want to see your house look like a sponge if it's still in one piece. Sweeping all that water and making sure it doesn't wreak havoc on electric appliances is definitely no cup of tea.

    Rush your stuff to a dry, faraway storage facility.


    Though I guess that's unlikely at this point since a whole bunch of other people would get similar ideas and take up all the storage/clog the motorways getting to storage.

    I am actually hoping the storm blows some rain to Texas....it's like month 3 of the drought we are having, its getting bad. I doubt a doubt seems like a big deal if you are in the middle of a hurricane though.

    I'm still fine over here. Thought I let people know I'm alright still. The power is going to go off as soon as hurricane force winds blow through here. I'm just glad I'm still letting people know from time to time.

    Meh, it's really irritating. My windows are plastic and I can't nail plywood to these walls. If this turns out to be harmless rain I am going to put a hammer through my radio.
