Mm, just a note -- I would put a little more work on removing the white fringes on edges and corners. Too much here for my taste, seeing as I run with the black vB theme.
Took a whack at one myself, as an example.
Though there are other ways to go about it. Glowy white fringes is a fave, and looks good on both black and white BGs.
