Aigis, Aigis, Aigis, I'm still not happy that we romanized it as that. editors can be so stubborn sometimes.
@TIM i think Naoto's a little better, but nothing wrong with Chie; i went for her christmas date in my firstcplaythrough too.
@Mewarmo its nothing major, 'sides its not like Atlus themselves could decide on the official romanization anyways.

we decided and we decided to compromise, but not in a good way. iirc the discussion in the office was between people thinking that "Aegis" is wrong because it's "ee-jis" in English, and people (whom I agree with, but I wasn't there yet at the time) who understood that アイギス is closer to the original Greek pronunciation so "Aegis" is ok. "Aigis" just looks dumb on paper.

I don't think so. Unless I'm completely wrong, then that's embarrassing.
edit: I think the proper English pronunciation as adapted from whatever translations over the centuries is actually closer to アイギス as far as the initial vowel, so yeah. But many people just say "ee-jis" because they understandably don't know how to pronounce the ligature.

I always pronounced it like "Ah-Eh-Gis"
I thought it was ey-gis.
It's Aigis because Ai is love.
Something she lacks.
Something that's impossible to feel towards her.
I know it doesn't really matter in the end, just a small niggle I could never get a satisfactory answer out of anyone regarding why without stepping on toes.
eh if you really think its impossible to love Aigis, than you're more of a robot than she is.
I'm obviously biased but I liked Aigis. Not an especially deep or original exploration of AI but still a worthy addition to a cast of generally cool characters.

Also, we totally should have had a mini crossover with Pheonix Wright, because honestly that sexual harassment lawsuit will come for Teddie sooner or later.
