So the Strange Journey remake has new, optional, versions of the old endings. Notable in that the Law and Chaos versions are waaaaay more positive than the original endings.

In the new endings Zelenin and Jimenez think for themselves and decide to interpret the world of Chaos and Law in their own way. A world where Humanity retains itself in the world of order, and a world where man kind as a whole return to nature without the whole STRONG ONLY RAWR thing.

As I mentioned, both the main characters of Persona 5 and Dies Irae are now named Ren and have similar dreams (girls and guillotines), but before it was decided that the main Personas should be thief-themed, Ren's Persona was going to be Mephistopheles. Reinhard's title is Mephistopheles. Coincidence?
