New Teammate - Kasumi Yoshizawa
New Confidant - Takuto Maruki
Kasumi literally just looks like a female Joker and I'm not sure how to feel about that. :/

Welp. Guess I'll have to settle for the OG P5 since I don't plan on getting a PS4.

Hooray for those who like musuo games tho.
A Musou was the last thing I expected. I was hoping for a fighting game like Persona 4 Arena. Not complaining, of course.
What 3DS title would be a good intro to get into the SMT franchise btw?
Should I start with SMT IV, Devil Survivor, Soul Hackers, or Strange Journey Redux?
Depends on what you want, really.
If you want to know what the classic SMT experience is like, play SMT IV and its sort-of sequel, Apocalypse. It's got all the classic hallmarks of SMT, including some things that would be spoilers.
If you want to explore dungeons, play Strange Journey Redux. It's sort of SMT by way of Etrian Odyssey, to put it one way. I started with the original Strange Journey myself, if that means anything.
If you want to play an SRPG, play Devil Survivor. They also involve some time management, a lot more so in the second game than the first. It's probably my favorite subfranchise, but I just like SRPGs a lot. Opinions may vary.
If you want a blast of very 90s cyberpunk, play Soul Hackers. I wouldn't really recommend starting with that, though. The graphics weren't really updated and the mechanics weren't either, so a bunch of the innovations this game apparently introduced have been added to the other games as well.
Play the least user friendly games first so you can appreciate the qol changes instead of suffering when they’re ripped away
