I'm just amused with the idea that, if an Esper was ever on the receiving end of an "...exactly as I planned" speech from someone whose powers were primarily acorn-based, they'd probably be better off obliterating themselves than allowing that person to have the pleasure of defeating them. Then again, acorn-manipulation might just be the level 0 manifestation of the classic "nature manipulation" character...*shrugs*

This is basically what I had in mind. You dont "buy" perks anymore after character creation and any perks given after character creation are based on the story development, rather then buying them with AP. So yeah, if you want to use every single shred of AP you have, you would be better off writing a personal perk. Though if you have 5 extra AP then there really isnt much point to spend it. Is it alright if we make up artifacts as long as they aren't absurdly powerful?
I dont expect you to use canon artifacts (actually, I would be hard pressed to allow that), but I do expect them to have an appropriate level of power, depending on their cost.
Lower ranked Magical Items would be around Lotus Wand (down at the Abilities section) and the coin bags of Angelene (same) level of power.
