Hamazura was pointless, RIP. I should really reread OT to get a better grasp on Accelerator, but c'mon dude, have better taste in demons than Chuckles will you? The new conflict looks interesting though; Magic vs. Science place your bets! Pretty sad there was no illustration for Mathers, but I suppose that's what NT21's for.

I've got a crack theory that Hamazura is gonna be relevant to Aiwass returning next time. It's just a bit weird that he used the Dragon Rider in NT1, Aiwass is code named DRAGON, in NT12 he got Aneri, which is a spinoff of Reading Thoth, which was revealed to be able to use Aiwass's power in NT18. Kamachi likes his wordplay with names, (Kamijou no Touma), Accelerator with One Way Road, and Hamazura being the End of Century Emperor.
It's super crack theory-ish, but Aiwass said that he wouldn't use an avatar due to how much he cares for human life. Which was contrasted with Coronzon not caring about humans, thus having multiple avatars. I can see, yet I doubt it, Kamachi pulling that End of Century means the end of an Aeon, and having Hamazura ask Aiwass to use his body if Rikou and the Magic Gods get in trouble. As I said, it's probably not gonna happen but hey, Mathers being alive is like the first time I've ever predicted a plot twist in this series.
Just finished NT20 myself. Index is once again super useless & just taking up breathing space even in the artworks where she's even featured at the cover.
Othinus was of course cute (he actually made her cry just by mentioning the cat) & was helpful (yet slightly jelly) god fairy all throughout. Not sure about Accel's decision regarding contract partners but as a "short cut" to magic, its one of the better ones I guess?
Understandable how Orsola didn't get as much artwork because of how the events eventually played out. Kanzaki being used once again as a measuring stick to show off the threat's power levels...that's just sad.
The future magic showdown is interesting & all but we all know that 'thing' is most likely to break out one way or the other, I'm far more interested in that.
