This episode could have been named "Accelerator Suffering"
Just watched ep 14 this morning. I was a little confused at how Carissa could seemingly shrug off bunker buster missiles. Was that an application of Curtana's dimension-cutting power, or is she just that insanely durable? Also I find it kind of hilarious how this arc ends with what's basically the magical equivalent of a nationwide Referendum on whether to leave the EU (thankfully for our heroes, that had the opposite result than in our history). Even more so given that Kamachi wrote this arc back in 2009 before Brexit was even a word on people's lips. I guess "Kamachi predicted Brexit" can be the new "The Simpsons predicted Trump".

It's funny how Russia invading Elizalina with deniable troops of mercenaries now sounds less far fetched after the Crimean crisis in 2014.
The politics in the last arcs of the original Index series are really hilarious now in hindsight.
Btw, unrelated, but Haimura finally drew Casual Vento:
Junko slightly getting over her hangups about her own inadequacies before going Super Saiyan was good.
Nice surprise at the end.
A boy loses an arm, but has to go to war against a super demon.
An OP guy who's capable of taming demons does the same, but gets his ass kicked in the first fight.
Oh, and there's a third guy who wields a stupidly powerful sword smh.
I've seen this somewhere, in another franchise, but the puzzles may or may not be from different games...
So, who's going to make Touma an artificial arm?
So the spell used to heal Touma is based on the story of Longinus healing his long lost eyesight. I wonder if that kind of spell is enough to heal the parts of his brain that are broken.
js06 was right, this volume is Kamachi at his full chuuni (not that NT21 and the Golden Dawn wasn't its own brand of chuuni). Probationer (and the protagonists getting compared to Mathers and Crowley), the Sephirothic Tree of Life again, Qliphothic forces, Secret Chiefs, Anna Sprengel, Aeons, the whole Ceremony of Mo Athair, soul free of the original sin, etc.
I can't keep up Kamachi, slow down.
A very good episode overall, and I'm just glad they animated Mugino vs Hamazura round 3 nicely.
Accel is bringing another loli to Academy City and unlocking a new angel power. Again.
Touma is on the run with Othinus. Again.
Hamazura and Takitsubou on a honeymoon trip around the world with one of them in critical condition. Again.
Jk, too much overwhelming spectacle in this volume.
Man, mah boi Accelerator has gone far, he is now the new Board Chairman of the city that made him who he is. RIP predictions that Heaven Canceller would become the new chairman at the end of it all.
And yeah, like js06 had said on Twitter, this really does not feel like the end of the series, just the conclusion of New Testament. Anna Sprengel, the real one this time, is back on stage, Aleister and Coronzon share a body, and Touma is running away from everyone now that the Invisible Thing's seal has been broken.
Oh, and Hamazura and co. will try living in the outside world I guess, as one big screwed up surrogate family.
Poor Mikoto, Misaki, and Othinus, no one knows what happened to them (they are probably fine).
All in all, a solid volume, like with all volumes since NT18.
