I"m honestly torn. On one hand I could go with Male main for maximum bro and to see how it goes with him. On the other hand if I go with a female main I would get to see the reaction Gilgamesh has to being allied to "Women and children" Which sounds amusing and hilarious to me.

If I ever do it, Male MC and Archer seem pretty likely so far. Not much interest in Saber, so either Archer or Caster. I'd like Gilgamesh, but if it's hard to follow him I'll probably just wait for a second playthrough. Assuming it's translated though.
I will sacrifice my first born child to anyone that translates Fate/Extra CCC. That is when I have a first born child if the translation is good I'll sacrifice my second born child. I'll also chant in eldritch tongues that man was not meant to know of while running around in circles around a 4 sided triangle to grant the group that does the translation eldritch translation ability from beyond the stars and the power to summon the deep ones.
with CCC being as long as it is even if they professional translate it right away...which I very much doubt they will...we have a long, cold time of waiting and trying to dodge spoilers ahead of us.

I'm lucky on that aspect. I'm a spoiler hound so I don't have to worry about that. I'm more worried it won't get a translation at all which would suck big time.
So Gil ended up as a full-on cheat character in the alpha version. They toned him down for the actual game, though he still more of a easy-to-use character for novices. But despite that, Nasu still recommends him for a second playthrough because of the "excellent foresight" thing.
