IIRC they banned another guy that was a brand new member for having an animated gif too, without even warning him or anything, after his first introduction post. That is an insta-ban over there if your avatar or sig moves, warning to any of you thinking about joining the forum.

Mike seems to be legitimately startled/frightened/angered by eyecatching moving images. His negative reaction to them seems well beyond the norm.
Mike seems to have negative reactions to everything but Sakura (which is sad) and lantz (which is sadder).

Yeah, that troll forum thing was when Mike lost whatever shred of sanity was left....... Everyone on DSM knows why Mike banned Randy so I won't really bother arguing about the troll forum... He said in specific the moving gifs were the reason and he'd ban anyone with one from now on. (And also anyone using a proxy)

Well, technically Mike said he wouldn't ban anyone just for using a proxy, which is presumably why the very next person that signed up using a proxy got immediately banned. o_o
