Well, it was Carnival Phantasm. So they could have gone crazy and added the Tsukihime cast to the match or something if they didn't want to use other servants.

Which doesn't sound nearly as cool as a shit-ton of servants running after a football. ...Or perhaps they would have played baseball, seeing how that's the only sport that actually matters in Japan.

I hate Carnival Phantas for this garbage. There was a great chance to use Saber's other interests like her curiosity for sports and the like, but nooooooooo, they had to make her a food vacuum.

It doesn't really do that for any of the other characters either. Hell Saber was the only one they were nice enough to give actual fluff to.

But if you want to see her other interests *points to FHA* that's where they are explored, very well.

Also CP wasn't responsible for Saber's eating being exxagerated. HA was ghost written and a lot of people writing it went to the food thing so it was a general thing that she likes food. I don't have a problem with it so long as it's in moderation. It can even be cute seeing her react to trying something new for the first time (see sweet potato), it's only when it's overdone that it bothers me.

I'm actually more curious to know how Rin picked up the bad at tech thing, she only had one small mention in FSN where she seemed to not know some tech, and that was when Shirou mentioned a Hard Disk and she didn't know what he was talking about.
