I've asked that question, and the response I got was unenlightening.

Something I've been wondering from the start, though, has been how they'll handle the My Room dialogue (especially with a likely sub-only route.) Will the UI be remade in My Room and the Servant dialogue screens so that there will be a text crawl for subtitles or something? How have the Chinese and Taiwanese handled those? Don't know if Aniplex has answered this, or if any fan has even asked about it.

Yes there will be floating subtitles at the bottom of the screen in My Room and Servant dialogue screens. The funny thing is in-game voices during battles are not subbed and last I checked during Fate/Zero collab event, event shop voices aren't subbed so players joke about it all the time. But I think they fixed it after more than a year.

Little more than a week left to go for English FGO. Hope I'll be able to balance my playing of the English version with the original OK enough, though for the time being FGO English will be on my tablet due to phone memory. It might be a bit of a headache pondering which to actually spend money on... or not, depending on quality of service and how much Aniplex USA will charge for quartz.

The following is my "battle plan" for FGO english based on my "dry run" with TW server, please feel free to comment and advice.

1. Prepare an excel sheet to drop down the ID, birthday, IGN and bind codes
2. Open an new account with different ID and birthday, do that 2 10 roll, record details and what servants you got.
3. Repeat step 2 until you: a. got your "herc + waver" started pack", b, got your 5* waifu on the 2nd 10 roll, or c. you have enough
4. Level your servants ASAP until you can beat 30AP exp mission, then earn enough green cube to bought that 5 tickets from shop. The games launch on 25th, so you have to prepare for 10 tickets. Forget about Fou and exp cards at this stage unless you really want to level up Mash or Jenne.
5. Do the main story, calculate your master's exp so you won't level-up multiple times in one go.
6. Once you are good enough, wait til 2M DL campaign to clear the main quest (they gives quartz) to unlock those story getcha servants (such as Nero) and free mission for 1/2AP.

By then, you should have at least 10 tickets and 90 quarts. You should be in a reasonable position to try you luck on Orion, Gil or Kinoki

In the mean time, you should login those "abandoned" accounts daily just to earn login quarts. When you have time (and in the mood), feel free to repeat step 4 to 6 on them . Sometimes, those "abandoned account" may ended up better than your main after a few lucky roll.

I'll be playing it completely f2p and not rerolling at all. The English version will be my hard-mode version.

I hope I still get Liz though, would be nice to have her at the start again.

True. I'm getting her more because her story (both in Fate and in RL) is amazing and inspiring and I love it. Also why I won't be rolling for Jeanne Alter, as amazing as she is gameplay-wise.

I'm sure they will never do this, but if they implemented optional 2nd Noble Phantasms, Jeanne could be buffed by making her a 5* Arash with La Pucelle, haha.

What you need to do is find that balance point between revealing anything important and saying enough to produce rampant speculation.

Then laugh about how wrong all the aforementioned speculation is.
