Princess Principal, I'm guessing. Either that or someones being masochistic and re-watching Cross Ange.

Ange is such a chameleon.
Was almost expecting the laundromat to get gassed though...
One must know the path one runs even if the ground underfoot is not as one chooses
Best part of this show. Everything else was awful.

PriPri is good...

When I go random.
So, what year is PriPri set? They have victorian-ish technology, Maybe 1910 at latest, but they also talk about gas being against the Geneva conventions, which were 1925. Or is this another thing obvious thing I missed, like the anachronistic episode order?

It's amazing how different this episode and last week's were tonally. From a grimly bittersweet tale of broken families and tragedy to an upbeat narrative where the heroines not only catch the bad guy but indisputably leave the world a better place in the process, if only slightly. I think it's to Princess Principal's credit how it can tackle all sorts of different emotional themes without feeling discordant...
Also pretty funny how that same smarmy gangster dude shows up from last week. I guess this episode takes place before the last one (forgot to check the case number) or else I bet his men would be a lot more cautious about approaching and menacing seemingly harmless young women.
Also about Re:Creators, how can Magane and Souta have a whole conversation on that balcony without the row of people right in front of them telling them to shut the fuck up and watch the anime? This is like people talking in the theatre during the only ever showing of Rebuild of Evangelion 4.

Princess Principal Episode 7 was a nice little breather I suppose. And then Kakegurui Episode 7 was just crazy.
Spoiler:
Today on Aho Girl, snackonomics.

So it took me a while to catch up to this episode of Re:Creators, but it was pretty damn incredible. Magane's little talk with Sota even managed to humanize her a bit, though she's still basically an amoral sociopath. Hikayu's introduction in Yuya and Sho's fight was hilariously awesome, though unfortunately some fanart spoiled me as to what her "powered up" form looked like. I loved how she was just blushing full-face from wearing such a ridiculous outfit, and even Takashi and Masaaski were dumbfounded as to how such a stupidly silly "twist" could possibly be accepted by an audience (thankfully Ohnishi knows that rule of cool and rule of sexy can make up for a lot).
Yuya just cavalierly dropping spoilers on Sho's backstory was also hilarious, especially Yatoji's reaction. (As an author, I would totally be pissed if one of my own characters starting dropping spoilers on my work on live television)
Classroom of the Elite Episode 3:Spoiler:
I'm going to watch something more cheerful now. Maybe My Hero Academia or something like that.
