新免 (Shinmen) = the name of the House that Musashi's grandfather was a vassal to.
宮本 (Miyamoto) = the name of the town she was born in.
武蔵守 (Musashi-no-Kami) = Protector of the Province of Musashi; a court title theoretically granted to her for her services to the state, though possibly inherited from her father. Being that it's doubtful that Musashi-chan ever served a lord in such a capacity, the fact that she claims such a title may just be talking herself up.
藤原 (Fujiwara) = the name of the Heian period household from which she claims descent.
玄信 (Harunobu) = the given name she assumed as of adulthood. As the name is male, it probably isn't her actual name.
弁之助 (Bennosuke) = the given name that the male Musashi bore as a child. As the name is male, it probably isn't her actual name.
Musashi is a character whose full name, Shinmen Musashi-no-Kami Fujiawara-no-Harunobu (新免武蔵守藤原玄信), is 9 kanji long -- and isn't actually her name. She's essentially the equivalent of a wandering hobo who calls themselves Johann McMartin Adolphus-Habsburg O'Keefe the 3rd Esquire Junior.
