Class Skills:
Territory Creation (-)
As an existence predating the concept of human construction, Caster is incapable of creating his own territory.
Item Construction (-)
As an existence predating the concept of human construction, Caster is incapable of creating any items.
Personal Skills:
Consummated Shape (A)
Prevents the body's collapse via hyper-rapid regeneration fueled by the magical energy of the earth. Half as powerful in urbanized areas, or places otherwise heavily tainted by the presence of mankind, which has degraded the earth from the Age of the Gods. As per its prerequisite of requiring contact with the earth, does not function if Caster is airborne.
Natural Body (B)
A perfect body possessed by the "template" of humankind, representing the peak physical condition which can be achieved by humans. As Caster was "made" rather than "born", his form is flawless by design. Rank-up to Strength. Side effect of preventing a change in physique regardless of the intake of calories.
Nega Genesis (A)
A conceptual bounded field formed around a Servant that is the antithesis of the accepted evolutionary course of humanity. Because Caster is an "origin of mankind" that opposes the correct continuity of human history, it is possible to resist attacks from Servants who have contributed to "proper history of man". Rejects Noble Phantasms used by Servants with the "Man" or "Star" attribute. Damage is heavily reduced. Examples of affected Servants include:
- Heroes that accomplished great deeds as regular humans (Gaias Julius Ceaser, Sasaki Kojiro, Oda Nobunaga, etc.)
- Inventors that contributed to changing humanity's destiny (Leonardo Da Vinci, Nikolas Tesla, etc.)
- Founders and explorers (Francis Drake, Romulus, etc.)
Noble Phantasm(s):
EX Materia
Primordial Coding
Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
Rank: B
Range: -
Max Targets: -
Simply put, a Noble Phantasm that represents the quality of "the first golem in human history", classifying Caster as the root of an entire field of magecraft. Crystallizing the legend of the first man created from the dust of the earth, it amplifies Caster's body by conceptually rewriting the true course of human evolution.
In reality, Caster was not the first golem to be created, nor was he the true origin of mankind; despite this fact, as a result of the overwhelming global belief in Caster's legend, and the misconception that he is the "first man", a transformative effect reminiscent of the Innocent Monster skill becomes possible. In essence, Caster is empowered by the beliefs of humanity, gaining strength beyond what was accessible to him in life.
Because Caster is recognized as the oldest golem, the clay which formed his shape - already from the Age of the Gods to begin with - is enhance through added mystery and age, transforming him into an existence unreplicable through modern Golemancy. Thus, Caster is a golem borne from the strongest clay, crafted by "God himself". These qualities place him at the pinnacle of artificial life.
A Noble Phantasm that amplifies Caster's Endurance to ranks unattainable by normal Servants, achieved through a surplus of age and mystery which amplifies his physical form to impossible levels. Caster's Endurance parameter is raised to EX rank and cannot be lowered. Additionally, as per his nature as an "inhuman existence", there no longer exist any vital organs required to survive. Does not grant protection from damage of any kind other than physical.
Ain Soph Aur
Regression to the Garden of Zero
Type: Anti-Army, Anti-Human
Rank: A++
Range: ~
Max Targets: 200
A recreation of the genetic memory of paradise in the form of a pseudo-reality marble that projects itself atop the world.
It is the purest expression of “Eden” in physical form, made possible by the collective dreams of mankind that subconsciously yearn for the same image. Because it is a “wish” that exists not only in Caster’s mind, but also within the deepest subconscious of mankind, it is possible to manifest “paradise” within the world without disrupting the texture of the Age of Man, as it is the image ascribed to the abstract longing for one’s own utopia.
A bounded field constructed “within the world” yet isolated from it, taking the form of an enormous mass of plant life, bramble and roots in the sky. It is best described as a “satellite” constructed from the visualization of “Eden” - though the form it takes is hardly comparable to the once-real Gardens, it is nonetheless a memory that every human will recognize as paradise. Projection is near-immediate, with Caster being able to grow Eden at any point in the sky should he so will it.
The primary effect of Ain Soph Aur is an attack which targets the “forward momentum of humanity’s evolution”. In this sense, it is the crystallization of Caster’s own wish to return to the past of nothingness and reset humanity. The satellite, once properly positioned, releases a beam of energy on the scale of an Anti-Army attack. Though the actual damage dealt is “zero”, the beam carries the quality of “regression”, such that everything it touches is reverted to its initial state of nothingness. An attack which rewinds life itself and erases the genesis of all targets caught in the blast. In other words, it is a Noble Phantasm that “continuously reduces the maximum HP of all targets to zero”. As a side effect, this quality negates all forms of healing or regeneration, as the maximum which could be healed to will still be zero.
Because the Noble Phantasm only affects life, it is possible to defend against it with any form of defensive Noble Phantasm - so long as said Noble Phantasm is of a large enough scale to completely cover one from the beam. Though it is not an attack that instantly causes death, the speed of regression is typically too high to avoid being instantly disintegrated once struck by the beam. That said, targets that have strayed further away from humanity, be that through the possession of monstrous or divine blood, are affected at a slower rate, to the point that Servants which are barely recognizable as “human” - such as those closer to Magical Beasts like Gorgon - may outlast the duration of the attack with some percentage of “HP” remaining.
Lore:
The point of separation between humanity and Gaia.
Caster’s true name is Adam, the primordial man. The quality of “the first human” is something added after the fact - to begin with, there were existences likened to “humans” prior to his emergence, though from the perspective of self-absorbed apes, he remains the root of the sinful idea of “humanity.”
A golem-like creature that was at some point more closely linked to Gaia. The connection was severed when selfish desire manifested, and some subconscious separate from the Earth was born.
One of the major catalysts for the decline of the Age of Gods.
Personality:
“He will save you. Because this is hell, he will return you to serene nothingness.”
Assumes the role of a father-figure to all humans; the kind of parent that looks down on his children as ignorant and unaware of what’s good for them. Because he naturally knows best for mankind, he is able to dictate when it begins and when it will end. He is a conceited and arrogant man in a reserved, passive and dismissive sense, that treats it as a common fact that he is correct in all circumstances.
His wish is fundamentally the “salvation of humanity.” Despite his self-assuredness, Caster feels nothing but guilt over the current course of mankind’s progression. The world of sin and death and pain is his creation, and thus, as a Heroic Spirit, it remains his duty to guide mankind to the only salvation that exists for them - void. Worthless apes can only be saved from misery if they cease to know life. It is because he loves those apes as his own children that he understands what is necessary - a return to the era where “humans” did not exist separate from the world.
...Of course, the only thing Caster really wants is to be forgiven. Because he feels guilty, he likewise feels the need to become a “hero” for mankind, seeing no other way to gain their forgiveness. Because he fears being scorned, he pushes humans away as he continues to try to “save” them.
Beneath the surface is a boiling mantle of rage towards the disobedient. “Why won’t you understand? Why won’t you conform?! Just let me save you, foolish ape…!”. He gets like this when things don’t go his way.
Relationships:
Master: Calmly educates them on all matters of which they are ignorant of. In the first place, how could he trust them to win the Grail War? All decisions should be left to the one who knows best. Discourages attachment to modern ideas. Does not often indulge idle conversation, but he is more than willing to explain things at you.
Avicebron/Goetia: “This child has the right idea. Still, I would rather do it myself.”
Enkidu: There’s some kind of pained look of self-reflection…
Tiamat: There’s some kind of discomforted look of insecurity…
Pioneers of the Stars: “Simply put, you need to slow down.”
Frankenstein’s monster: There’s some kind of depressing look of recognition…
Creator Notes:
-Approach here was to make Adam a significant, powerful Servant without making him too powerful to be dealt with in a traditional Grail War. He gains a lot of his strength from a surplus of age and mystery, but he hasn’t got many feats to justify him being the second coming of Gilgamesh.
-I also kind of wrote him as if he would be some sort of Singularity villain, which might come across in him feeling sort of “big bad”-ish.
-Kitwise, the idea is for an unorthodox “Caster” who actually functions as his own Golem - he’s pretty much a hypertank that will take very little damage from most regular attacks, and heal rapidly from those that deal any significant injuries. His Nega-Genesis will greatly weaken certain Noble Phantasms to the point that he’ll be able to just take them head-on, and Ain Soph Aur is his big beamu trump card that he brings out to put the nail on the coffin. Beyond that, he pretty much fights as you’d expect a pre-civilization existence to - with his bare hands, all clay-fu like.
-I'm super self conscious but also badly want to be punished for all my abhorrent creations
