She had heard about King Arthur's choice to take up the sword of selection from Richard's mother, telling him bedtime stories.
It seemed the Knight King thought if there was better person than she, who ended up destroying her country, they they ought to carry the burden of kingship.
However, upon hearing the Knight Kings words the Conqueror King smoldered in anger, golden king laughed.
Full of anger, the Conqueror King refuted her by saying she had "responded her nation's prayers for salvation," and "a selfless king cannot lead a nation. Citizens do not yearn for a slave to righteousness."
-"Sacrificing everything about yourself for what is correct. There's no person who can live like that."
-"Conqueror King, are you saying the rule of one who stops being human is inferior to that of a human?"
-"Kuku. O'Knight King, then you would be forcing your way beyond what is human, to the realm of the gods."
-"Why are you laughing Hero King. If that was possible with a human body, why hesitate?"
-"Really? I know a goddess, whose unreasonable incarnation tried to rule a country according to what she believed was right."
-"Hey, Knight King. I know I might have been called a descendant of Zeus, but..."

I've seen in the chinese discussions, the most prominent theory seems to be it was Xu Fu or archer QSH
And they keep mentioning the story of how, on Zhifu island, QSH took a crossbow and shot down a sea monster/god that Xu Fu told him was blocking his way to Mt. Penglai

When Jester gets out dreamland he's near Sigma and the Kuroka. He switches to a werewolf and runs away. His new goal is to make Assassin his bride AND wake up ORT.
Quite a bit. There's a flashback that's a talk between Richard and Saint Germain where they talk about heroes. And Saint Germain tells Richard, like Mordred, he's going to fight his father.
The whale thing is threaded in quite a bit. Certain Servants notice that they feel what seems to be a giant whale watching them. We know its female because Waver gives Flat a lecture on underworlds and goes rather Campbellian, saying the underworld or what is also know as the "belly of the whale" is the place of rebirth into a hero. And it would seem the darkness of the underworld or the belly of the whale represents the womb. Hansa makes note of the story of Jonah and the whale.

Pale Rider is with Tsubaki in the Kuroka house, no one other than Sigma and Jester are there.

Hippo's Saint Graph itself seems buffed and the Prelati's wonder if that's because Doris has broken the taboo and gone to the extreme of reinforcement, reinforcing her crest and her circuits.

The general principle of reinforcement already read as being completely broken in application but this takes it even further.

But Hansa told Van Fem about the Jester's attack on the police station where Jester told them he was a Dead Apostle, a being that denied the Human Order but at the same time he's in love with Assassin who's the embodiment of the Human Order. For some reason this double standard is a no-no among top Dead Apostles and that's why Van Fem now considers Jester an enemy.

Wow, now they even have a rule against forbidden relationships. Makes sense in context but it's funny how dramatizing it is that the sentiments of DA/Humanity being opposing forces carry even into personal interests for those up the ladder.

Flat looked at the hole in his stomach. He was able to calmly analyze the wound - the shooter was on a rooftop diagonal to him. Raising his face in that direction, "So bright.... I can't see too well."As the sun falling in the west entered his vision, Flat reflexively held up his hand and muttered as if nothing had happened, "Sorry, Jack.... The crossbow is probably gonna be a one-and-done thing. I figure once he kills Watcher with it (assuming that is indeed the direction this is going), she's gonna drop the giant spear she's carrying in her mouth, and that's gonna become Sigma's NP.

I think it's more that Jester wasn't consistent. Should have gone all in on love or all in on being a DA, but for some reason being half-assed is worthy of death.
Van-Fem does says it's not uncommon for DAs to love fanatics etc

Honestly the Narita Banquet of Kings is something hilarious to me. It feels so hamfisted I can’t take it seriously but Richard’s reaction both feels legitimate and also fanfic tier at the same time.

Basically saying Iskander was seething is pretty funny in a way that I’m a bit sad at myself for finding amusing.

Van Fem has a few lines.
Flat's reasoning is that if Jester is a bigshot in the DA world maybe this DA that he knows, Van Fem, might know him.
Hansa has heard of Van Fem of course, but doesn't know him. Most of the Van Fem conversation POV narration is through Hansa.
Van Fem is the one who teaches Flat about Jester's revolver heart and spiritual cores he uses which allows Flat to attack Jester's main body at the Kuroka house while being in the Crystal Hill.
