It was chilling. It was enthralling. The moment I realized what was going on I had to keep reading to see it through. The Tsukihime-style of writing worked wonderfully for it.

An impulsive decision made in a chance encounter with one of the Fae Folk leads to Tohno Shiki and his would-be victim forging an unlikely alliance for the sake of their lives when a power struggle turns all eyes on them. A Dresdenverse/Nasuverse fusion, where Butcher's work is the setting that calls the shots.
The best part is that it's more or less complete, with a possibility of a sequel. Or at least, about as complete as Lancer Gets Serious will ever be. It ends conclusively enough, is what I'm saying.

I am of the personal belief that the Tsukihime Remake is two years from release. It will remain as such until a release date is announced, at which time its actual release date is 6 months after that date.

+1 to "A Stolen Heart" as well. I really liked the noir setting and how the characters translated into that. Good stuff, an AU that I actually enjoyed reading.

Despite me knowing nothing about the Dresden verse, the story carried itself admirably. Ryuugi's internal narration of Shiki is a particular strength.
