lol Any way, yes, I do recommend checking the fic out. It's quite good. I'll give the fic a +1.

Spoiler:
Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and recommend Fate/Desiderantes Affectibus.
It does interesting things with lesser-used characters and takes the traditional story in different directions that don't feel unnatural. Sayaka and Kariya actually make a pretty good pair. The story even made me root for the guy despite him normally being my most hated Zero character. Bonus points for making Lancer almost as likable as his Stay/Night counterpart. Sure it's not perfect; some of the dialogue is a bit awkward and plenty of characters are conveniently shoved offscreen to make room for the plot, but on the plus side this story avoids most of the common pitfalls of fanfiction by not having Sayaka magically fix everything, and staying true to each character.
I work for a label company and I do a lot of typesetting. General consensus with my fellow typesetters is Comic Sans needs to be banned. Comics don't even use it any more.

Forest is a vampire who's a bit too good for her own good and doesn't know when to leave things alone. Armed with a ridiculously large hand gun, martial arts skills, a bitching pony car, and a love for pop culture she fights the forces of evil. Urban Fantasy 80's Style.

<NEW FIC!> Revolution #9: Somewhere out there, there's a universe in which your mistakes and failures never happened, and all you wished for is true. How hard would you fight to make that real?

It's a short, 3k word KnK fic about Touko and her musings as she's alone, working on Shiki's arm. There's not much to say about this, but it's a nice look into Touko's character, her thoughts, and her (presumed) history.
Linger: Complete. August, 1995. I met him. A branch off Part 3. Mikiya keeps his promise to meet Azaka, and meets again with that mysterious girl he once found in the rain.
Shinkai: Set in the Edo period. DHO-centric. As mysterious figures gather in the city, a young woman unearths the dark secrets of the Asakami family.
The Dollkeeper: A Fate side-story. The memoirs of the last tuner of the Einzberns. A record of the end of a family.
Overcount 2030: Extra x Notes. A girl with no memories is found by a nameless soldier, and wakes up to a world of war.
FYI Velsper's being working hard to get back in the swing of things.
He released a new chapter of Eureka, the one with Frannie, Shirou & Shinji before they enter highschool, and Saturday Morning Grail War, the one he started writing before Apo even came out so it's like Apo but not really and is more of an adventure story starring Kairi, Mordred and super speshul OC donutsteel Tohsaka Hiroto as they run from the eeeeeeeeeeeeeevil Yggdramillenia who have Won and Taken Over The World.
Hamburgers.

How times flies. Maybe I should've waited four more months for the one-year anniversary of my crippling laziness.
You know what's really damn weird? I got two people outside BL asking me "ffthread when". In a quest about boatgirls! But they called me a seiba waifufag so clearly they aren't stalking me just yet.
Also I told them ffthread never so I must make good on my lie now.
Doesn't matter because I can't find it in the index.

Some conversation came up about the fic, and how out of hand everything got. I used to find it fun but flawed, but it looks like the flaws (OOC, harem, bizarrely "rational" characters, etc etc) got out of control. Then again, it was all from hearsay, so rather than actually derec (which would mean reading like, fifty million more words to catch up), I just retracted

That Swapping Fates story collection I recommended a while back has updated. It's not a single narrative, but each part analyzing the relationships between the various Servants and Masters in alternate Fourth Grail Wars where they've done magical chairs.
Of the updates, Part 5 follows Kirei summoning Gilles and being creepy together. Part 6 shows us Kayneth getting the chance to summon Alexander, which doesn't get him NTR'd but poses its own challenges. Part 7 is about Hassan being summoned by someone other than Kirei, but it's mostly about a vehicle for a conversation between Hassan and Iri.
Of the seven parts so far, Part 5 and 7 are my personal favorites.
