The rogue, the prodigal, the titles of the error: she was the unconditional flaw. By the Goddess, did she love being the flaw.
Bit of Morinth-centric fiction. Rather nice, compared to 90% of the shit in the ME section.
"Shepard."
"Wrex."
No conversation with any other party member ever came close to such a level of depth, emotion, or philosophical meaning as this.
Indeed.
Levy is not impressed.
Eco Rider!
I am just going in here to say that I FUCKING LOVE MASS EFFECT.
I played thorugh the first one 4 times (6 times if you count NG+), the second one 5 times and all DLCs with all of my chars. I created a char for the second playthrough only to see how it's like to play without import and to see how it's like to die on the final mission. I will create a new one for the third too and do the same. Also I haven't touched the Infiltrator yet, because I plan to play all 3 parts of ME directly after each other with the Inf just to get the whole story in one swoop.

I've yet to play ME1, sadly. And I just spent my last $20 supporting an online game I've played for years, so no ME1 for me any time soon.
Still, ME2 is damn nice. Infiltrator + Widow = Everything dies
Play ME1, the story is superior. The gameplay not really.
In ME2 spending skill points really impacts the way your character plays. In ME1, spending 10 skill points impacts the way your character plays.

^^ So I've been told. It's on my to-get list, I swear.
I just felt that giving back to one of the most awesome game communities I've ever been a part of was a wee bit more important.
In other news, I love me sum Liara. :3
I like ME1 gameplay, mostly for the armour and the guns and customization and the fact that I didn't have a glorified ammo counter.
<NEW FIC!> Revolution #9: Somewhere out there, there's a universe in which your mistakes and failures never happened, and all you wished for is true. How hard would you fight to make that real?

[12:40] Lace: lucina is amazing
[12:40] Neir: lucina is pretty much flawless
I ENJOYED BOTH.

I like ME1 gameplay for one fact:
There are usefol biotics besides warp and singularity (GASP!).
Inifinite ammo would not be a problem, but frictionless materials is. The upgrade system is pretty cool until you realize that you won't need anything but frictionless materials, ammo of your choice and a specter VII weapon.
And the game can be broken so damn easily:
Specialization max, Barrier max, congratulations, your adept is invulnerable.
Immunity max, specialization max, congratulations, you can now kill thrasher maws in close combat with your soldier.
Also, no SMGs. Which means if you are not a soldier hybrid I hope you like the Specter VII pistol, because it is the only weapon in the game for you.

Seriously, heatsinks aren't an upgrade. If they had focused their research on the perfection of frictionless materials, they could have revolutionized the face of war. Turn every grunt into an endless bullet hose.
