But hey, it's not like you knew it beforehand hahaha.
Actually *nerd glasses on* in Fate/Zero, Bucephalus is specifically referred to as she. From volume 2, that scene everybody knows with the Ionian Hetairoi trampling the Hassans:

A riderless horse galloped towards Rider. It was a powerful and sleek steed, as impressive as any one of the Heroic Spirits standing before the king. "Long time no see, pal." Rider smiled childishly as he hugged the neck of his horse. She was the legendary charger, Bucephalus. Even the horse of the King of Conquerors had become a Heroic Spirit.
Now I have to go wash my eyes after reading that translation. I'm so glad there's an anime.

I mean, I've never been a big fan of genderbending in the Nasuverse. But like....Nobunaga. Francis Drake. Jack the freaking Ripper. Out of all the ridiculous genderbends in the Nasuverse, it does seem a bit funny that a horse is the one that really bothers you.

If you read the Zero manga you'd know Bucephalus was recorded as a male because the chronicler happened to see Alexander standing behind her with his pants down and assumed that a dick like that must belong to the horse. It was an optical illusion, you see.

I just supplant Drifter's version of Nobu in my mind whenever I'm not forced to look at that Girlycard reskin. Koha-Ace is funny and a mistake at the same time.
Drake is mentioned in Extra as ((possibly)) being Queen Elizabeth in disguise, and I honestly like that concept so I'll let it slide.
Jack is cute, but yes it's also retarded. I'm just too big of an Alexander fan for my own good.

In which the neglected baby brother finally makes his debut.

    source: yoshichia

Name: Edward VI, The Tudor Boy-King
    Class: Caster
    Alignment: Lawful Neutral

    Attribute: Human
Likes: Guidance, Piety, Long Naps, Astronomy, Virtue, Sweets, Thomas Cranmer, Tom Canty
Dislikes: Catholicism, Thrift, Insubordination, Writing, Coffee, Eldest Sister, Uncle Somerset
    Talents: Faith
    Armament: Scripture, Dagger
    Natural Enemy: Onee-san

    STR: E
    AGI: D
    CON: E
    MGI: B
    LCK: C
    NP: C

    Class Skills:

    Territory Creation
Allows construction of an area that is advantageous to a Magus.
    • C: Creation of a 'Parliament,' which is inferior to a true Workshop, becomes possible. As he is more monarch than Magus, the territory created by Edward VI is without question subpar by the standards of his time (though still impressive to the diminished Magi of the modern era), focused instead upon emphasising his status as an absolute ruler. Thus the intent is to establish an area where the majesty of England's king is a thousand times magnified, wherein the king's voice is naturally projected to his spectators and his Divine Right of Kings Skill is enhanced to the point where listeners will feel compelled to submit to his words, as common folk should. To accomplish this, however, Caster must be provided with grounds befitting the glory of the English crown. That is to say, he cannot (or perhaps, will not) construct his Parliament underground, away from fortifications, or upon territory lacking the element of 'kingship.' Instead, he shows a preference for grandeur in choosing his headquarters, such as luxury hotels or ancient cathedrals, worthy of supporting his name. The Master bereft of wealth is thus guaranteed to find Caster a difficult ally.

    Item Construction
    Allows creation of magical items.
    • E: The sole creations of Edward VI are his writings, the Chronicle containing the history of his time and a portion of his personal thoughts that he left to later historians, and the shoddy handwriting and disorganised structure within makes readily apparent why his rank in this Skill is so painfully low. Indeed, he has his in every way inherited his great father's distaste for the art of penmanship, preferring to fall back on rhetoric whenever required. Caster is somewhat more adept at the creation of holy items that may be used in rites, relics that might be considered today on the level of minor Mystic Codes, to the point where he may have developed a genuine talent for this craft had his life not been cut short.

    Personal Skills:

    Affection of Advisory Council
Direction received directly from one's councillors, it is a blessing for those who were in some way dependent on guidance.

    • A: From the very outset of his momentary reign to its untimely end, Edward VI was aided by the wisdom of his Regency Council, a collection of twenty-eight men pulled from the aristocracy intended to guide him for the duration of his minority rule and administrate in his stead. In practice, the intentions behind the council were almost immediately subverted, with Edward's uncle the Duke of Somerset, who immediately fashioned for himself the role of Protector and supplanted the state to his own ends. Regardless, for the years in which Somerset took up the banner of autocratic rule, and those following his deposition, Edward grew as a monarch, a mark of his development symbolised in this Skill.
    • Once per week (twice, should it be determined his life is in immediate peril), Caster may within the bounds of his Parliament call up the Council — lingering spirits of his advisers bound by loyalty (and better sense) to aid in all his endeavours. Parliamentary Meetings called in this manner exist in a state of distorted time, one where each hour of the discussion takes place in merely a second, allowing Caster to consult with his myriad ministers from both the Regency Council and his own self-appointed Counsel of Estate on the correct path to take, and to deal with the inevitable squabbling that will ensue. Any decision reached by the Council is final and binding, even to Caster, for not even the great despot can overcome the authority that is king-in-Parliament.
    • Furthermore, Caster may call upon his conciliary guidance to mimic the effects of several Skills, provided they are not supernatural abilities and merely "learned disciplines," more replicating the works of his advisers so that they might act through him than truly acquiring their talents for himself. These Skills range from the Military Tactics provided by Somerset, the Holy Sacraments taught by his closest confidant Cranmer, the Economic Mastery of Northumberland, and so on. As an unfortunate side-effect, however, this dependance on his elders has given Caster an innate urge to show deference to those he regards as superiors, leaving him ripe for manipulation on the part of his Master.

    Divine Right of Kings
Divine right is a political and religious doctrine of royal and political legitimacy. It asserts that a monarch is subject to no earthly authority, deriving the right to rule directly from the will of God. Those who listen to his voice feel a strong compulsion to obey. Additionally combines Divinity and Charisma of the same rank.
    • A-: As the first successor to the English crown since his father's secession from the papacy, and perhaps the only monarch among the Tudors who actually attained power as intended without threat of force, divine right runs especially strong through Caster's veins — particularly as the divinity of the crown would be slowly diminished in the century that followed. Indeed, Edward's coronation was a shining example of this, as in an unprecedented maneuver Archbishop Cranmer turned to address the audience, citing Edward therefore as the true son of God, accountable to none. While this high rank provides additional faith-based protection in recognition of his piety, the riots in Caster's reign following his efforts at religious reform hampers his form of Charisma.
    • Without much in the way of genuine deeds held to his name, and in the absence of glory one might expect from a monarch, it is Edward VI's intense commitment to his Protestant faith that is best remembered, the image of the 'godly imp' who supposedly devoured twelve chapters of scripture each day, a young boy whose passion for theology and virtue became clear from an early age. As such, Caster's Divine Right serves to diminish works of Thaumaturgy performed in his Parliament, assuming they do not draw from the one true faith that he follows; this effect is drastically enhanced against 'primitive' pagan forms such as Shamanism or Witchcraft, and especially the great heresy that is the mockery of papist belief.

    Mystic Eyes
Possession of magical eyes that can interfere with the outside world.
    • D: Caster holds what might be labeled as Mystic Eyes of Holy Perception, a rare talent befitting the first king of a reborn Protestant state. They are not 'true' Mystic Eyes in that they are not a gift he was blessed with from birth, but instead a manifestation of his divine right that he came to possess following his accession to power. While they are low of rank in terms of actual application, it goes without saying that Caster made excellent use of them in his brief stint as monarch, allowing him to perceive the religious inclinations of any individual he observes and quietly rid himself of Catholic poison. Had he been allowed to develop as a ruler and reach the majority of his reign, this Skill would have evolved into Mystic Eyes of True Faith, granting effects similar to Mystic Eyes of Whisper against fellow Protestants and Mystic Eyes of Terror against religious opponents. In the Holy Grail War, these Mystic Eyes allow Caster to view his opponent's faith right down to denomination and era — or the god they most favoured for those following pantheistic beliefs — along with the source of any divine blessings they hold, allowing him and the theologians comprising his council to work towards uncovering their identity.

    Magecraft
    Knowledge of modern Thaumaturgy.
    • C: It goes without saying that Edward VI is not a true practitioner of Magecraft, that heretical art out of keeping with a ruler known for if nothing else his religious fervour. He did, however, share his father's curious passion for the study of astronomy, actively stimulated by the varying tutors he studied under in his youth, among them the professor John Cheke. Under Cheke, Edward's studies soon not only incorporated the mysticism better associated with astrology, but the man's own newly-created pronunciation guide for Greek runes, an introduction into the ancient form of pharmakeia.
    • The Magecraft utilised by Caster is thus by no measure a standard model, but instead a cobbled-together mess of astrological occultism, Greek works, Protestant Sacraments and Edward's own interest in geometry, fitting for a Thaumaturgical form created on a whim as a hobby by a curious child. Its primary applications are for the most part defensive, focused upon healing and the creation of barriers, wards with which Caster will use to shield his Parliament from enemy detection and attempt to detect the activities of other Servants. Perhaps indicated by all the adoration of warfare displayed in his writings, Edward finds the idea of assaulting foes with Magecraft distateful.

    Weak Constitution
A weakness struck by the nature of frail health. Instead of a Skill, it is what one might regard as a curse.

    • B: For those familiar with his legend, there is little doubt the image conjured by Edward VI's name is that of a sickly child, the puppet of a prince burdened with poor health ever since he was small. While the truth of the matter is that he was perfectly well up until the last year of his reign, the depiction erected around Caster has dramatically worsened the case of tuberculosis that eventually claimed his life, resulting in an ailment not dissimilar to the effects of Innocent Monster; should he at any point become overtly emotional or exert himself too strongly, Caster will be immediately beset by bouts of furious coughing, irritating at best and potentially fatal at worst, particularly working with the context of the Holy Grail War. This is not a genuine affliction that can be eased with rest or treatment, but the 'myth of Edward VI, the pitiful child' that forcibly plagues him, an insult to his name that he regards with little more than contempt.

    noble phantasms

    Book of Common Prayer
    Rite, Ceremony, Sacrament, Psalm

    Rank: C+
    Type: Anti-Unit, Anti-Heresy
Perhaps the cornerstone of England's Protestant Reformation, the Book of Common Prayer was a simple volume devised by Thomas Cranmer, containing within every ceremony and act of worship that would comprise the new Anglican faith. It was the first single book of prayer England had ever seen, commingling the scattered services of Christian faith into a single volume, written in English and at time dramatically altered as one final farewell to the Catholic scourge. While the varying changes of religious practice incurred the wrath of Edward's people in a number of riots, the Book of Common Prayer remained strong, to the point a version remains in use today and has influenced religious practice across Christendom. As a Noble Phantasm, the version held by Caster is the original manuscript penned by Cranmer himself, his own personal copy that has served as the 'origin' of English belief for nearly five centuries.

If the volume held by a certain French knight holds the power of cancelling Magecraft, Book of Common Prayer possesses the power of negating divinity. To be more precise, its very existence asserts the supremacy of the Anglican faith having thrown off the shackles of Rome, and Caster's position as appointed monarch by the one true God. Thus merely by holding it, this Noble Phantasm shows he has 'broken away' from all other denominations, and as such attained a position where heretic beliefs cannot reach him; for as long as the book is on his person, Edward VI gains a power approaching Divinity Resistance, where any Divine Mystery that attempts to affect him is immediately nullified.

He who rules by the grace of God need not recognise the fleeting authority of false deities, therefore blessings stemming from a power other than the Christian God are dismissed out of hand the moment they are turned against Caster, regardless of Mystery — weapons will have attributes nullified whilst retaining their physical form, while divine attacks that lack physical form shall find themselves negated outright. Only powers stemming from the true Protestant faith can affect Caster, on the condition they suffer a rank-down reduction as penance for their treachery.

By then opening the Book of Common Prayer, provided he does it from within his Parliament, the centre of his own divinely-granted authority, Caster can then expand this effect. For as long as he is able to hold the book open through the expenditure of mana, this Noble Phantasm will forcibly remove the very concept of opposing faiths from the Holy Grail War and impose upon it the Anglican realignment. Skills such as Divinity and Affections of the Goddess are sealed for all Servants within ten miles while the book is open, at the same time imposing the same negation of divine powers that typically surrounds Caster.

Has the bonus effect of causing normal humans to undergo a sudden crisis of faith for its duration, and it is here that the book's true power becomes apparent; just as the publication of a true Anglican prayer book well and truly marked the departure of Catholicism from England's shores (allowing in just a few generations for the thought of resumed Catholic rule to become unthinkable), the original Book of Common Prayer manuscript is imbued with the concept of 'religious erasure.' Provided it is kept in its active state, even enemy Servants within its radius will experience the gradual erosion of their religious beliefs, a powerful ongoing mental effect that slowly wears away at belief in a higher power, one that can only be resisted through genuine conviction in one's faith. All in all, a week of ongoing exposure (assuming Caster can provide adequate mana) will shatter the beliefs of even heroes from the Age of Gods, while two weeks will guarantee the conversion of all victims to the Anglican faith. Had he only reached a greater age, this would for Caster be the ultimate ally-creating Noble Phantasm.

Incidentally also functions as an actual prayer book, much to Caster's delight. Morning prayers are important, after all!

    Prince and Pauper
    Bond Between King and Ward

    Rank: E
    Type: Anti-Unit
The Prince and the Pauper is a novel penned by American writer Mark Twain, published in the late nineteenth century. The man's first voyage into the realm of historical fiction, it depicted a ludicrous series of coincidences where prince Edward VI and commoner Tom Canty end up swapping places, learning from their time spent walking in the other's shoes. It is also, in that unerring capacity of authors to get at the truth, an accurate depiction of events English chroniclers did their best to conceal. Thanks to this accidental immortalisation of the affair, Caster may call upon it as a Noble Phantasm, symbolising his deep and everlasting friendship with Tom. Whilst Caster succeeded in ascending to the Throne of Heroes, the friend he left behind in Tom Canty was left to grow old, quietly removed from the court once Mary Tudor took power and having his name stricken from history. More than an actual power for him to wield then, Caster views this Noble Phantasm as his chance to reunite with the one person his age he ever grew close to, a crystalisation of their bond.

When Edward VI is summoned as a Servant then, it is guaranteed Tom Canty will be called along with him. Put better, Canty is guaranteed to have reincarnated into a normal boy living in the area where the Holy Grail War is being held, unknowing of his identity until his first meeting with Caster. Rather than forcibly reincarnating Canty into the modern era, it would be more accurate to say this reflects the fact the Holy Grail has long since determined which Heroic Spirits will be called, long before the actual summoning takes place; Caster therefore cannot be summoned in the absence of Canty. Once the two reunite, the identity of Canty's reincarnation will be permanently erased and replaced with that of Caster's cherished friend. Lacking in mystery himself, he holds absolutely no power of his own, only notable for his bizarre resemblance to Caster — to the point where it is impossible for even the most discerning of enemy eyes to tell the difference between them should they exchange clothes, and the false Caster that is Canty can summon up the Advisory Council himself, wraiths unknowing of his true identity.

With further regards to the Council, upon reuniting with Tom Caster will add him to his advisers, with the Skill he provides being a rank in Discernment of the Poor rooted in his own common sense. He will also put forth a proposal for his Council, yet another Devise for the Succession; upon Edward's death, should he have obtained the council's approval, his Great Seal will be passed on to Tom Canty, and with it his parameters, his Skills and his Book of Common Prayer, essentially giving him and Caster's dreams a new lease on life. This transfer is absolute and wholly undetectable to those unaware of its occurring, and as such it will likely appear to opponents that Caster has miraculously revived. This is much to the chagrin of Caster's Master as well, who will find his Command Spells have no effect on the reborn Servant.

Comes with the condition that Tom Canty will spontaneously perish nine days after succeeding Edward as Caster.

    lore
Third and final son of English king Henry VIII, Edward VI is perhaps the most neglected figure of the Tudor family, remembered primarily for the brevity of his reign and its seemingly uneventful quality, to the point historians at one point regarded his rule and that of Mary together as a 'Mid-Tudor Crisis' of monarchy. Ruling for merely six years from nine to fifteen, his rule nontheless saw major religious reform the likes of which would leave a mark on English history forever — though his actual involvement in affairs is certainly up for debate. While he was easily manipulated by the mere mention of pocket money in his early years, by the time of his death Edward VI had begun sculpting himself into his own ideal of a king, concerned above all else with virtue and the legitimacy of the one true faith, known for his force of personality. The simpering child imagined by popular consensus, after all, would not bring his sister Mary to tears over Christmas dinner, nor passionately record ongoing wars with a sense of wonder in his personal writings, nor months later refer to the execution of his uncle with an almost casual disregard.

In terms of temperament, then, the best word to describe Caster might be brat. Following the example set by his late father, the bright and cheerful boy Edward VI was in his youth has long since evaporated, replaced by the precocious maturity of a teenager not yet a man. Forceful and stubborn, he has already mastered the vital art of a king to kill his emotions, and thus treats his Council, Master and enemy Servants with an air of detachment. He is wholly genuine in his convictions, sure to confound his Master with his insistence on carrying out the proper religious services each week, eyes close to sparkling when he devours any scripture he can get his hands on. Behind closed doors, Caster reveals himself to be every bit still a child, anxious for approval from his elders, easily excited and quick to fluster, and with an obvious distaste for girls.

    Truly a case of
    princedere
    typical shoujo manga shota character
    .

Lacking any real plan with which to tackle the Holy Grail War, Edward VI will prioritise playing defensive on the advice of his Council, much though it may offend his sensibilities, aiming to uncover information on the other Servants, do his best to disturb morale with his Noble Phantasm, and let his enemies dispose of each other. His wish, according to him, is not the extension of his life — though the prospect certainly tempts him, he will not meddle in the defiance of death — but a more spiteful revision of history, wherein Mary Tudor suffers an untimely death shortly before his own, allowing Elizabeth to ascend the throne and continue his legacy in her supposed Golden Age. His closest Counselors are also likely to find themselves reborn in the modern era. Whilst Edward VI and Tom Canty forge a new life for themselves somewhere away from the world.

hey, I've been trying to fix Than Giong up to a better standard, but in your opinion, would an NP that allows him to grow a Mecha by absorbing prana donated by allies, taking organic material[like trees, and say, bamboo], and things like that sound good to embody his property of Growing into a Giant and Being Supported to Become a Giant?

im leaving his armor and bamboo out because those belong to his Lancer sheet, which I'll do after his Rider sheet.

Oh, this is interesting. I didn't think this guy was Heroic Spirit material (Because literally every Tudor outshines him) but this is a good sheet.

I like the Affection of Advisory Council andMystic Eyes that you gave him. I can see you've borrowed the Divine Right of Kings skill that I made up for Henry VIII but you've expanded on it rather nicely. I couldn't actually think of any Noble Phantasms to give him myself, which is the main reason I never made the kid so props to you.

    Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance: (C)
Magic Resistance grants protection against magical effects. Differently from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether.
In his later years, Lancer became a wise village elder and shaman, therefore he is given an average rank in Magic Resistance. Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against Magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals.
This skill is reduced to (-) when Lancer activates his Noble Phantasm.

    Personal Skills:

Beauty of Trouble with Women: (B)
A gentle form of beauty that naturally draws the desire of women, but in so doing signifies a fate of nothing but misfortune concerning the opposite sex. Not a Mystic Face as it is a natural phenomenon that’s surrounded the Servant since birth. The amount of problems the Servant will have with women increases proportionally along with this skill. While generally not considered a beneficial skill, it can used as a means to bind a woman’s will to the Servant’s own, should he be quick and cunning enough.
It would be a misappropriation of the term to say that all of the problems in Lancer’s life were caused in some degree or other by women, yet it’s the truth. A woman cost him his status, a woman cost him his humility, a woman cost him his honor, and finally a woman was the reason behind his death.
At this rank, Lancer’s cherubic charms shine like a beacon to women everywhere. It’s no more the women’s fault that Lancer must suffer such misfortune as it was the women’s fault who inadvertently tore up his life, but this is a truth concerning his existence and so it continues. While the women are drawn like flies, they exhibit nothing in sense of [yandere] tendencies, it seems only that the World itself is forced to act through women in close proximity with Lancer in order to make him miserable. The rank of this skill does not reflect the effects of Lancer’s Noble Phantasm, though they are similar and related.

    Incitement: (C++)
Incitement is a skill that functions as the acquisition of the words and gestures to lead the citizens and the masses. Especially, when employed against an individual, it functions as a sort of mental attack.
When faced with the heavy taxation and mounting pressure of the nearby lord, Lancer was able to effortlessly muster the courage and strength of his village, although having little to zero authority among his countrymen prior to that event. This skill gains bonus modifiers when Lancer is communicating with children, or convincing a group of people to rebel against a larger force and seemingly insurmountable odds.

Nature of a Rebellious Spirit: (B)
Nature of a Rebellious Spirit is the temperament to never remain at one location and never embrace a lord. A wandering star that does not have the capacity to be king nor is capable of finding his own king. Negates the effects of Charisma with the same rank.
Though not one who could ever be considered king, nor who would dare forsake his homeland over petty personal preference (despite his royal blood to the contrary); Lancer’s pigheadedness in the face of conflict with higher authorities has earned its own localized infamy.

The site of his resistance against Mataram has since become a national monument. Able to completely negate the effects of Charisma up to rank B.

    Noble Phantasm

    Baru Klinting
    O Son, Strike True

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: A++
    Range: 1
    Max Target: 1

The spear that was forced into Lancer’s hands towards the end of his most famous story, and one of the three legendary spears of Javanese history. An uncomplicated weapon, its appearance belies the true nature housed within. A dragon that became a spear, and a spear that was once and still is a dragon, that is this Noble Phantasm’s true identity. Seething with its own power, the spear is unsurprisingly a constantly active type; no magic in Lancer’s possession or that which existed in his life is even close to capable of truly sealing away all of the power of a dragon.

While Baru Klinting is in Lancer’s possession, he is effectively invulnerable. The ridiculous amount of magical protection of the dragons that is still active within the spear combines with the dragon’s own desire to keep his master safe, redoubling the spear’s defensive properties. Unlike similar dragon-related protection Noble Phantasms, this is not a byproduct of a dragon but rather a complete and whole dragon itself. Therefore, Lancer’s [invulnerability] is much more akin to [Achilles’ shield] than to [Siegfried’s skin]. Only those weapons and techniques that could hope to pierce a dragon or possess anti-dragon qualities will leave a scratch on Lancer.

Upon activation, the spear awakens the dragon’s [offensive] qualities to match its passive [defensive] ones. Though due to Baru Klinting the dragon’s pacifism and respect to his master in his final moments before becoming Baru Klinting the spear, it doesn’t gain another particular game-breaking technique. Rather, Lancer’s strikes simply gain the bloodthirsty nature and proportional strength of his dragon vassal. Easily rending buildings apart or piercing through hundreds of feet of concrete, the awakened Baru Klinting is quite possibly one of the strongest and most obscure spears in history.

That’s not to say that a weapon of this magnitude doesn’t come without its own set of restrictions and demerits. While any other Noble Phantasm might have its True Name spoken aloud in order to activate it, Baru Klinting requires additional preparation. Only by placing the spear in a source of fresh water and calling the True Name aloud can the slumbering dragon-spear be fully realized. There is also somewhat of a heavy cost to the possession of this Noble Phantasm. Baru Klinting cannot be handled by a woman, at which point it will lose all of its power. But it goes a step further than that. Should an unspoiled virgin be the one to touch Baru Klinting, the spear will revert back to a dragon at the cost of Lancer’s death.

Even while “sealed”, the spear is actually still alive. In legend, it is aware of who is wielding it and lashed out when it found that person was not Lancer. If it’s thrown, it will return to Lancer’s grip on its own.

    Lore

Ki Ageng Mangir Wanoboyo is a hero from Javanese folklore. He had in his possession a magic knife, simple in form, looking like a mere kitchen knife. One day, in preparation for a festival where the entire village came together to make and share food, a boy came and asked to borrow the knife, so that the food his family prepared would be ceremonially clean. Ageng gave the boy the knife with a warning: the knife should not be placed on the lap of a virgin, especially not a beautiful woman. It just so happened that in the mess of preparing and cleaning the food, the magic knife found its way into the lap of Sarinem, a beautiful virgin woman. Upon doing so, the knife vanished. At the same time, Sarinem felt a stirring of life in her belly; she was pregnant.

Ageng Mangir was furious but felt responsible for the young woman's condition. He decided to spare Sarinem the shame of being an unwed mother by offering to marry her. After doing so, he gave her the comforts of his house and money. Ageng then surrendered himself to the authorities so he could be exiled to atone for accidentally forcing the pregnancy on Sarinem.

Nine months passed, and on a night with a full moon and a roar rose from Sarinem's house as she gave birth. The child was not human, but a dragon-like creature, a naga. The villagers were shocked, but Sarinem tenderly kissed and caressed her son. A few hours later the naga, named Baru Klinting, devoured a chicken, a duck, some fish and eggs. When the child had grown into
a young boy, he found his mother crying, longing for Ageng Mangir. Sarinem took this opportunity to teach Baru about his father.
Filled with admiration, Baru decided to find and meet his father so that he might be worthy of his respect and carry on his name.
At first, his mother disagreed, but relented and told him to be careful on his journey.

Once he arrived at a wide river, he plunged in and was immediately taken over by his naga instincts. He transformed into a giant snake-dragon creature, with scales, claws and fangs. In short order, he began eating boatmen on the river and ferry passengers. Word spread of a monster lurking in the river, and Ageng Mengir eventually heard it. In order to prevent more victims falling prey to his son's rampage, he decided to come out of exile. Ageng came out of his cave and finally met his son after a week of searching. By this time, Baru had grown to massive size, but even so he was intimidated by the look in his father's eyes.

Baru Klinting bowed down in supplication, asking to be accepted as Ageng's son. However, Ageng rebuked him, saying he could not accept the chaos and fear he had added to the world, and that he wanted a son who aspired to uphold peace. Ageng offered him a chance to atone. If Baru could extend the length of his body around the nearby Mount Merapi, he would accept the naga as his son. Baru immediately wrapped himself around the mountain, stretching with all his might, but the belly of the mountain was just big enough that his nose was still a meter from the tip of his tail. Desperate, without asking permission, he stuck his tongue out to close the distance. Furious that he cheated, Ageng slammed his fist into Baru's tongue, and the naga's body shrunk and turned into a spear. He picked it up, and heard his son's voice saying he would faithfully serve his father. The spear contained Baru's power and made his father invincible.

Ageng returned home with his new weapon, but arrived just in time for a rival king to send his daughter on an assassination mission disguised as a marriage offer. One touch from a woman was all that was needed to nullify the spear's power and allow the princess to kill the vulnerable Ageng. The story serves as a cautionary tale to raise one's children properly so that their instincts will not lead them astray, and for children to respect their parents by carrying on an honorable legacy.

    Personality

Generally soft-spoken and humble, it’s easy to see what attracts women to Lancer from miles around. A wise “househusband” sort, Lancer is just as happy to help with cleaning as he is to dispense advice to his Master (though he may grumble to himself if his Master is female).
This demeanor evaporates the instant Lancer recognizes something as unjust or hostile to himself or those he perceives as his people. Altering into the mindset of a prince-warlord, he will execute his judgment harshly and follow tightly to the code of honor he’s instilled within himself.

    Tactics

Lancer’s weakness to women is apparent and should be a clear topic of communication between himself and his Master. Only after securing his safety from feminine wiles is it advised to continue with any sort of plan for the war. While Lancer is able to make full use of Baru Klinting in any way he sees fit simply because of his son’s devotion to him, the Master should still be aware that he’s asking favors of a father-son pair in which one of them is a man-eating Phantasmal Beast tenuously trapped in the shape of a spear. Exercise caution if you’re a real piece of shit and want him to cheat.

A dash of wankery and a heaping dollop of plagiarism, I hope Funderfullness will forgive me since I'm like 90% sure we used the same blogs and sources so the translation would end up more or less the same anyway.
Anyway, here's another fic-worthy Servant I promised a long time ago. Imgur is down right now so if the pic isn't working I'll fix it tomorrow.

Proof? Nah, but it doesn't match with the witness accounts, which mostly describe him as a jacket-wearing dude with a mustache.

Besides, real talk, I just picked the first three historical figures I thought of that were genderbended. All I was saying was that Bucephalus isn't the only weird historical GB.

    Drake is actually alright tho.

Isn't the usual Jill the Ripper theory that she was an extremely strong Midwife? Still doesn't match up with TM's portrayal. Besides, that theory is pretty weak.

Jackie isn't even advertised as THE Jack the Ripper. Just a wraith that MIGHT have been Jack the Ripper.
