Pretty much. I suppose he already has the ending in mind and right now it's the mad rush to get there. It's not as detailed as some of the other ones I've read but it's still one of the better works on FF.

At least Neoafla doesn't seem to pushing the harem part in Path of the King yet, at least in the writing. He's probably doing to troll his readers.
And I hope that bit about Sacchin was a joke.
+1 to Fate-Alter Time if I haven't recced it already.
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster;
And treat those two impostors just the same,

"From a dusky world with an ever-setting sun, a limitless rain of Ryougi Shiki streaked down from gargantuan gears set in the sky." Fate: Over 9000, my best Crack yet.
I'll throw a +1 on Fate-Alter Time, too.
Everything starts going off the rails as soon as the first chapter. I like the way Leo Novum takes a stab at familiar characters and concepts, only to spin them off in wildly unexpected directions (read: Shinji's sub-plot, how he tackles Shirou and Archer's synchronization). I'm especially fond of Novum's take on this new Assassin, the switch he pulled on Lancer and Berserker, Caster without the Kuzuki restraining bolt, et cetera. Sure, I ragged on how rushed the latest chapter felt, and Sancraid feels cartoonish and one-dimensional in how eeeeeeeeevil he is. But, on the whole, it's been a great story full of shocking swerves and a breakneck pace that was doing a good job of not being too much at once until just recently. It's bleaker than standard Fate fare, but I suppose that's partially a side effect of Fourth War veterans hanging and taking a more cold-blooded approach to the Grail War. The other half comes from things like Sancraid running the War, Caster being as devious as usual without Kuzuki to soften her and Archer having nothing left to lose. I've also been snatching up his hints about the alternate Fourth War like a starving man snatching up scraps of food. Hell, that alone would be worth a fic, but I suppose that's a testament to how well he baits the hook.

He never sleeps. He never dies.
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
It's in the first post, but here's the link again.
I now know why Fate/Black Reflection isn't updating...
The author is Co-Writing this.
Updated. Thank NewAgeOfPower for spurring me.

Forest is a vampire who's a bit too good for her own good and doesn't know when to leave things alone. Armed with a ridiculously large hand gun, martial arts skills, a bitching pony car, and a love for pop culture she fights the forces of evil. Urban Fantasy 80's Style.

Indeed, Duo is always best choice of the Wing Boys. Hell, when I was in high school I wrote a novel length Gundam Wing vampire AU fanfic. That's how much of a Wing fangirl I was.
I prefer the term latebisexual thank you very much.
And I could honestly.
Also, a sort of fic recommendation:
Wearing Her Favor - Rin/Archer. Full of WAFF and fluff and some cutely awkward smut.
Summary: After Archer fights Rider, he finds that something has gone askew in his connection with Rin. But after a day like that, he’ll do what it takes to reaffirm his allegiance to her.
It's not a perfect Rin/Archer fic, they're both slightly OCC, but it's an enjoyable read for a one shot.
