I swear we just hate Viktor.
[x] Severus Snape
[X] Ladon Greengrass
[X] Lockhart
[X] Snape
Considering we're expecting to be working rather... closely with [x] - Lockhart in the near future, it certainly does behoove us to see what he might be up to as well as see what his take on the current state of things are - though we probably already have a bit of an idea. Still, it would be good to get such information in more detail, and get a better idea of what hands he plans to lay.
Once again, a point of view we rarely come accross has been presented - perhaps last sent around last Christmas season as well - and this might be a better opportunity so see what we might have to learn from her as she is currently in a position where she is in between Lockhart and the rest of Magical Britain - not unlike Pansy, but still quite different as well. [x] - Rita Skeeter can give us a unique perspective and one in which we might learn quite a bit about the mindset of the people of Britain.
It does seem that way. He is the person that is far from Shinji's circle of people so we tend to ignore him. Overall there are so many characters for us to focus on that good characters fall thru the cracks like both champions of Durmstrang. Maybe we just hate Durmstrang event thought we voted fairly heavily to have the Triwizard there.
[X] Lockhart
[X] Rita
Can I just say that the so far winning picks of Lockhart and Snape is kinda of a boring pick here when taken together. A little too heavily on what is happening on that front.

Understandable. I am not really feeling altogether excited for any of these options, not that they are bad per say, just none of them stand out to me.
As for write in potential POV, a good set of options to pick would be the unnamed Potion Champions from all the other schools we have not interacted with so far. Like Russia, Brazil, or Africa. Granted at this point, its a little to late to go down that route but maybe a later vote (likely after the 2nd task is over) could offer us a POV from one of the other champions.
You are free to suggest someone else of course. Even good old Tomas Peverell or so. Waiting for the Second Task to end might not be wise, since that is a month long ordeal, and the champions will be off in the frozen wastes, hunting for items, using the orbs as a sort of short range sonar.
So while you are thinking, I present...
Choice 124: There's also the matter of if Shinji wants to surreptitiously offer help to the Champions, considering their ordeal involves braving the dangers of the frozen wastes, and only George really has survival experience, as far as Shinji knows.
Will Shinji seek to even out the odds a bit, or to do something to help any one of them? After all, the champions will be acting out of sight of everyone else, so he could conceivably "happen upon" one of them during one of his walks, or perhaps make a few caches of healing potions or such, with maps just so happening to find their way into the hands of appropriate parties. He would even dispatch Zelkova to play escort to one of them, should he desire.
What will he do?
[ ] Create hidden caches of potions
[ ] Have Zelkova assist (fill in Champion)
[ ] Meet one of them while on a walk
[ ] (write in)
[ ] Do nothing. This is not his task.

[X] Do nothing. This is not his task.
Choice 123:
[x] Severus Snape
Switching my vote from [X] Ladon Greengrass to [X] Rita Skeeter
Choice 124:
[X] Do nothing. This is not his task.
The other Champions probably wouldn't have made to the Second Task if they weren't capable, which they are, considering they survived the First Task. Also, it wouldn't be fair to George if we deliberately lost him an advantage over his opponents.
[X] Snape [X] Lockhart
[X] Meet one of them while on a walk
Alright had an idea. First of all though create hidden cahes of potions.
So I'm going to go with Snape, because it's been a while since we saw anything of him. Wasn't the last time in the assassin hideout or something? My write-in would be Arthur Wealey, I want to know his perspective given all he's been through maybe he even interacted with Fred when they came to view the play.
[x] Create hidden caches of potions. (with maps for everyone)
Boosting Shinji's reputation without displaying bias.
Also, voting [x] Severus Snape and [x] Rita Skeeter.
They might not. The other potions champions wander sometimes too, and they may have stashes for their own use or convenience.
Choice 123:
[v] Severus Snape
[v] (write-in) Hermione Granger
As for Choice 124, i prefer to do nothing. Let's not ruin the competition more than we already have.
I apologize if this is a bit late in terms of responses; the last week's been rather hectic.
Alf, you mentioned that the other potions champions have caches lying around the frozen wastes, is it possible to ask why they are doing so? Are they also trying to help their nation’s champions?
If so, why would they do so in such an indirect and insecure manner that creates the possibility of another competitor would run into them.
Also, while it’s true that we could run into one of them while ‘going out for a walk’, there’s no guarantee that we’d run into one of the champions that actually need help (Though considering how the sentence is worded, this is actually unlikely). In that case, it’s likely to be similar to the Zelkova option where we’d select someone to follow.
The issue with this option is that it’s quite direct and that means it will come with all the risks and benefits involved such as possibly improving our reputation with whichever champion we move to step in to assist while damaging our reputation with the other nations (Quite possibly Hogwarts more than anyone else as this will look like our Grandstanding again. Even worse, we’d be interfering with a task).
Out of curiosity, Alf, would not stepping in at all provide us any more time to prepare for our own competition?
As, if not, we could stand to get some form of 'practice' by preparing potion caches (though why we aren't just increasing our own stock, I am unsure), or at most having Zelkova keep an eye on our pet Frenchwoman (as it has already been mentioned that George doesn't exactly need it, and I see little sense in investing in Krum this late into the game).
