Characterization is spot-on, the new OC is actually likeable, and the storytelling within the fic are for the most part like 93% canon-compliant.

A new rec I haven't seen in this thread from me: Holding Back the Sea, by Ryuugi. There's a more advanced version on SpaceBattles here. Summary: Percy Jackson of 'Percy Jackson & the Olympians'/'Heroes of Olympus' series gets raised to Heroic Spirit status and gets summoned as Berserker in 4th HGW. Haven't been updated for quite a while though.



I'll also tentatively add a +1 for 'From Fake Dreams', in that it's not on the same quality as my other recs but I've found it entertaining anyway.

Honestly I think the minus system is just bad overall, who is going to give minuses to other people on this forum? I think the simple fact that so many get up votes while the less popular get very little up votes should be good enough.
