Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
Ironic that only that the heroines named Sakura would really like the hero voiced by Sugiyama. It's like a memetic curse.
And EMIYA is literally Bond. His romantic affairs are more like stand-ins for his true love.

Speaking of, I'm still kinda sad that Archer crossover died prematurely
Seeing as how Kyte seems to be accepting quests now, here's another one.

Title: Fate Hollow Order
Author: ZerbanDaGreat
Synopsis: The ongoing sequal to Fate/Hollow Fake where we play as Rostam Hargrave, heir to a modest magi lineage joins Chaldea to help save the world. Then tragedy happens, we become a Demi-Servant and the only Master in Chaldea. As the only master available, social link with your Servants and lead them into Singularities to stop the world from ending.
Recommendation: As of this review, the quest is currently in the Roma Singularity. Thus far, it is both solidly written and has players with relatively little salt and flaming. Content wise Zerban is not afraid to use different/original Servants or alter existing ones for the singularities which results in some horrifying situations. Combat scenes flow splendidly with memorable moments throughout many of them. As with its predecessor, the characters are well written with amusing interactions.
I'd like to put TwilightsCall's new Mordred-centric oneshot up for consideration for the short story recommendations section. It really hit 100%, in my opinion, and while I admit to being a generous critic, I'm pretty sure it deserves a spot here. In the spirit of not spoiling the plot, I will try to remain vague about the particulars, but I'll try my best to do it justice without giving too much away.
Story: Blood Arthur
Author: TwilightsCall
Synopsis: Mordred wakes up in a corridor with no memory as to how she got there, but this doesn't bother her. She's more interested in what's waiting for her at the far end of the hall.
Review: Aside from having wonderful prose, and flowing beautifully, this story is a wonderfully accurate character study of Mordred and to a lesser extent Arturia as well, but such a simplified description does it a disservice. It paints a sympathetic Mordred, without ignoring her flaws, and then gives the reader a tragic look into her confused and skewed view of the world, that ultimately evolves into a subtle, but profound sense of horror when you see what awaits her at the end of the road.
I'm confident that this story will make the cut.

Reccing a fic isn't something you need to be an authority to do. Just provide the relevant information. What I need to add a new story to the Index:
- Link to the story.
- Story name
- A positive review of your own.
- Plot synopsis. If your review gives the synopsis I can work with that. It must give the casual reader an idea of what's the fic about, hopefully in two lines, or so. About two tweets in length.
Linger: Complete. August, 1995. I met him. A branch off Part 3. Mikiya keeps his promise to meet Azaka, and meets again with that mysterious girl he once found in the rain.
Shinkai: Set in the Edo period. DHO-centric. As mysterious figures gather in the city, a young woman unearths the dark secrets of the Asakami family.
The Dollkeeper: A Fate side-story. The memoirs of the last tuner of the Einzberns. A record of the end of a family.
Overcount 2030: Extra x Notes. A girl with no memories is found by a nameless soldier, and wakes up to a world of war.
Fixed, though it's no excuse for initially getting it wrong. I'm an even fussier about proper formatting than most, so I should have done this in the first place.

Anybody else already recommending this?
Story: Their Hated Fates
Author: ForceWalker
Synopsis: One was doomed to fail his ideals and be sentenced to a life of endless killing as a Guardian. The other doomed to be denied her father's love and be the villain to her legend. Both of them had their very beings twisted with hate, and dealt fates where they could not be saved. But when they meet in battle, perhaps a small happiness shall finally bloom for them.
Review: Well, what can I say. I always liked stories where EMIYA duked with someone like a badass he is, and that someone is a cute badass like Mordred, that's double the fun! The story paints both of them in a different yet similiar light, with one thing connecting them like a red string of fate. Like the title suggests, their hatred against their fates (and by extension, themselves and each other) is the major grab of the story, and seeing both of them refused to give up no matter what brings a good feeling to my heart. Decently written, no full-on bullshits like most other Fate stories and ended in a good, bittersweet note.
All in all, a nice one-shot that potentially could've been expanded into something more. Definitely a nice rare gem of FF.net.

Basically, it's Apocrypha crossover where Fiore comes into possession of EMIYA's pendant and summons him as the Archer of Black instead of Chiron. It's fairly well written...though it does take a few liberties with EMIYA's power set. (Nothing too outlandish, and it's explained in the context of the world/circumstances EMIYA was summoned in)
FYI, It's also a Chinese translation of a Japanese fanfic. So unless you're one of the ones who can read the runes...you're shyt outta luck.
EDIT: BTW...Here's the website for the original flavor in Japanese:

This fanfic was COMPLETE as of 03/29/2015 (51 Chapters + 1 Epilogue)

With each day, one draws closer to death,
With each day, one expends more of one's life,
With each day, one obtains more memories,
With each day, one gets closer to losing them all.
