    I also wonder if the Force Unleashed will be discarded as well. I mean, Lucas was involved in this one and, as far as I remember, it was specifically said before that it's a part of the canon (at least the first game).

    Still, the Force Unleashed seems to put some strain on the rest of the canon, especially the ending to The Force Unleashed 2. I wouldn't particularly mind seeing that installment go.

    But I don't really see much need to fret over what's canon or not. When you get down to it, the Expanded Universe is authorized fan fiction, so I don't mind the presence of alternate continuities; indeed, I see Disney's current projects with Star Wars to be little more than alternate continuity at the moment.

    I kinda hope that TFU II will be retconed, since "LOLclone" thing was quite messy nad the story itself left unresolved (NEVER make an open ending for unneeded sequel. Or, even better, don't do unneeded sequels, but that is an impossible dream), but I liked first Force Unleashed story.

    That's the same thing that was said in the other posts. The thing of it is that they still want to pay homage to a lot of the EU material anyway, especially since Lucas himself drew from the EU (like "Coruscant" as the capital) but obviously the new movies are going to rip the post-movie books into shreds. The team that worked on Galactic Starfighter for TOR is trying to sort out what is gonna be kept and all.

    Naw, you enjoyed playing them, it's just that the games you played retroactively were never Star Wars, and were just part of some crazy space RPG that was very similar to Star Wars in many ways.
