So it isn't really Nasu's manuscript? He just revised the script given by Ufotable? That's what it says?

I don't understand japanese, I really don't get technicalities.
Edit: We posted at the same time.

Then, in the interview what do they mean? I mean Nasu says he's the one that writes the original scenes (it would seem the director gives him the idea and Nasu writes the whole thing). You sure you're right and in reality he just rewrote what was given to him? (just to make sure).
Interview:
The 「UBW」 anime was created with a pretty tight arrangement alongside ufotable. How exactly did that come about? Also, as there were various original scenes in the anime, who was the one who came up with the ideas? <Rio>
Nasu: Explaining even only the details regarding that arrangement would take up this entire interview, so I can't discuss it here. The original scenes were scenes proposed by the director. He would let us know where he wanted a new scene, and I would make it.
Takeuchi:The additional episode in the 2nd season was brutal... they wanted a 5 minute scene added, and this guy writes and submits a scene big enough to fill a whole episode!
Nasu: Blame the people who gave it to me.

I'm pretty sure he wrote the epilogue script but I'm not Nasu and have no way to verify these things so let's all take it easy
@ Kotonoha; Majikoi01; Crown Last time I ask this:
Since you're saying he wrote the epilogue what you mean is that from your understanding the director told him what scenes he would like and a basic structure of how the episode should go, but he's the one that writes the scenes as he like with absolute freedom (especially considering they tend to be changed afterwards).
This is a question, not a statement btw.

I do not know
Well, thank you for the translation XD
Having no japanese knowledge sure is tough
(if someone else has some insight about my last question or a different translation of the sentence please tell me though)
Edit: Kotonoha, you were right all along, he wrote the script.
This is what he says in his blog after the episode was released:
http://www.typemoon.org/bbb/diary/log/201506.html
#25の制作は「ほぼオリジナルなので、まずは原作サイドで書くべし」と始まりました。
そしてできあがったきのこによる脚本モドキを前に頭を抱える制作陣。
The translation you just gave me yourself in the Nasu and Takeuchi blog was (and it is correct, I asked a japanese person to verify it):
The production of episode 25 began with "since it's mostly original content, it should first be written by the original author". And then the production team clutching their heads at the completed so-called script by Kinoko.

who is Majikoi01?
Definitely not McJon01 Ara?
Something
Yup, mcjon01. I must have been reminded of the VN
@ Kotonoha
I'm really sorry to have doubted you.
Indeed you were right all along, Nasu wrote the script himself.
This is what he said in his blog after the episode was released:
I watched it a little ahead of everyone else (SHIROBAKO came out on the morning of the 27th), but I humbly submit that this experiment was quite an achievement.
This past half year has been a wonderful experience.
I feel like I've returned to my younger self from 10 years ago.
Again, thank you and fantastic work on the part of Director Miura and all of the staff at ufo!
◆
So. While directing my feelings of gratitude to Kouenji,
I will now give you an inside scoop, per Kinoko custom.
I began by thinking that #25's script was "mostly original, so I should write this as a side story to the original [the VN] story."
And so I, Kinoko, was at my wits end trying to write something approximating a screenplay.
That's right. You know what I mean. In other words, I bit off more than I could chew again. Fuck!
Thus we drastically cut the parts that weren't needed for an anime... but the generous people at Aniplex said, "It would be a waste if all of your Nasu-san's work was cut, so let's include it as a special in the second box set."
Those of you interested in what was cut (Luvia's turn to shine and Luvia's turn to shine and Luvia's turn to shine, etc.) should check out the second box set.
Afterwards comes the part where he says how he had written the ending in his script (different from the anime) that we discussed in another thread.

A couple of lines from Sakura's h-alt:
桜の声が、鐘楼のように頭に響く。桜のうわごとが、信じられないほど艶めかしい。
熱っぽく潤んでいるのか、そんな風に聞いてしまう自分が不純なのか。Any help would be appreciatedたから慰める為に、俺の心の中の汚れた部分を桜に見せてやる。
They're commented out, you don't need them.
I can't believe it.
I'm trying to reach you through discord, PMs and visitor's messages for months. Nothing.
And now this? I'm honestly offended
All those lines are in switches, you don't need to worry about it.
This isn't a hard rule or anything, but people tend to be more willing to help if you show evidence of making your own effort at it, instead of just dropping a bunch of text and hoping someone will do it for you.
I'm not implying that this is what you usually do. It's just a general observation.
also, I don't think koto is too active on the channels you mentioned.
This is exactly what I do. I don't know Japanese (though I do learn a little in my spare time).
I know this thread is not about "please translate this for me". I'm just hoping people would understand it's for the new RN release and be willing to help, since it's already translated and I only find untranslated bits here and there...
If it's bothering people I'll look elsewhere though (or open an interdimentional portal through which I could get a hold of Koto).
