I don't think it's so much a matter of budget/effort as it is apparent over-effort. Like, we see Rider's animated super-finely as he turns her head around, just as we see in a lot of SHAFT's character animation; there are quite a few frames to her animation there, and thus that 'squishy' feeling. No one is really used to that sort of "theatrical nuance" (my term) in character animation for Fate/, so it looks weird.
(Strangely, this also makes me think of how overly-animated the cutscenes in those dumb CD-I Legend of Zelda games were, too. Thankfully it shouldn't be that bad!)

Drake looks great but it's been so long that I even forgot that her second ascension wasn't her original look.
Seeing her with sleeves, completely red coat and no hat is weird, it's like she's missing something.
I don't think Drake looks weird. It looks exactly like what would happen if you took Wada's artstyle and translated it into SHAFT animation.

If they do extella zero, that means Gawain will be defeated in the 6th round, but if they're defeated by Hakunon and her servant, that means they will defeat him while his Numeral of the saint is active? Because if Rin is helping Hakuno, they will have no way of "turning off" the sun or maybe they will change it and make Rani help Hakunon on the other side? What do you think?
I'm thinking that I thought there would be more news about the anime and now that I see there isn't any but instead some dumb what-if question, I'm disappointed and mad at you.

I don't think so, in the 6th round the arena is still underwater so there's no sun to activate the numeral.
But the sun is always on in the Moon Cell; that's why Gawain is such a god there.
Then he doesn't need to be in the sunlight to be affected? I guess it makes sense, but it's hard to believe Emiya managed to beat him with numeral active.
Wimp on-screen, badass off-screen. Thus is Emiya.
