Snappy dialogue and well-developed characters. It's polished to hell and back, devoid of the 400,000,000 words of excess that plague similar fics. Each scene does something to advance the characters or action, and it doesn't lean on power levels to create the illusion of progress. The protagonist trades largely upon his guile, and the scope of the scenario accommodates for it.

A story about academia that develops Waver Velvet and the Clock Tower beyond anything seen in canon. Gives the impression that the Clock Tower is more than a lawless cesspit of sociopaths, more of a University that just happens to cater to students that can set buildings on fire with their minds.
