I liked the Kirito better in the beginning of SAO rather than his later selves :P
But I meant that, there are a lot of (bad) fics that portray Kirito... there's no point in this train of thought, I just like his characters okay \(*II* \)
I don't really understand what you meant by your first comment, so I've interpreted it as comparing avatars~
I was just having fun. I wouldn't really rec it myself but it's not like it's so bad that I can't understand why people would rec it. (Although chapter 28 is kind of terrible in my opinion.)
The first comment is me expressing my jealousy at all the fics that get actual recommendations, but in such a way as to not be putting up a giant "PLEASE READ MY FIC" sign unlike some people.
Of course having to explain it kind of ruined that but hey at least I tried.

I'll read your fic once the Blazblue anime starts explaining stuff.
Linger: Complete. August, 1995. I met him. A branch off Part 3. Mikiya keeps his promise to meet Azaka, and meets again with that mysterious girl he once found in the rain.
Shinkai: Set in the Edo period. DHO-centric. As mysterious figures gather in the city, a young woman unearths the dark secrets of the Asakami family.
The Dollkeeper: A Fate side-story. The memoirs of the last tuner of the Einzberns. A record of the end of a family.
Overcount 2030: Extra x Notes. A girl with no memories is found by a nameless soldier, and wakes up to a world of war.
Considering that the premise of my fic spoils what seems to be the only thing that the anime isn't blatantly spoiling that might be for the best.
Of course it's also a cruel promise because the odds of them explaining anything are low.

I did read past the intro and onto the first chapter, still not liking it, the excessive use of tags is maddening for starters, and i dislike how Illya is portrayed.
I am onto the fourth chapter and I am starting to like it less and less, there are some key points on the light novel where teleport crystal saved lives, now? they are disabled if i read correctly.
He also added as a second chapter a Tiger Dojo and there was no need for that.

Er, guys, when I said I didn't want spoilers... I meant for the story Fate Revelation Online. I could care less about spoilers for SAO (considering that I intend to read and watch the franchise at some point).

No he didn't. He (spoiler) suicided/brain scanned himself into his own technology. He may 'still be' alive. He just can't interact with the normal world anymore.
Haha, things are already weird, its just that they aren't weird in a way that you can notice.
But yeah, the story of Blazblue is a giant mess to the point that even the in-universe super planner villains complain about it.

The writing is great. The SAO cast is well portrayed and feels very true to their light novel origins. Kayaba has a new and interesting motive. The Nasu elements are integrated well and have thus far had a significant impact on the normal SAO timeline. I also think it's interesting that Kirito's 'Beater Knowledge' has been much less helpful regarding the 'Thaumaturgy Patch' and he's had to struggle more then normal.
I do agree the use of brackets has been a bit excessive, but the author claims it's intentional and that as the game progresses, the brackets will be toned down significantly. And really, it doesn't bother me that much.
Really, I'm just looking forward to new content.

Right, because I'm dumb and I forgot; +1 to Fate/Revelation Online. Personally, the brackets don't really bother me - I mean, sure, they're everywhere, but to me they reinforce the fact that they're in an [MMORPG]. 'Tis a lot like a wiki text with its hyperlinks. Honestly, it'd be better if the [Game Terms] were coloured differently rather than bracketed, but FFN doesn't support that stuff.
