Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.

On Dreams comment about Nameless, yeah. He's gotten a much better head for himself.
I believe he is a co-author to Kishou's Fate: Reach Out IIRC. (It gets a bit confusing when Kishou's also Vegeta The 3rd on FFN. I don't SB.)
I like it and that's all I need.
Yeah, Vegeta the 3rd is my fanfiction name, and I just never happened to change it to my common forum name of this one. Kind of keep a distance like that, despite uploading the same stories here and there.
I kind of owe Nameless for PMing me sometime after I shot the basic idea of Fate/Reach Out as a random crossover suggestion and didn't even intent to write it; just see if anyone else liked the idea enough to do it themselves.
He was indeed my co-author for a time. He helped write some snippets and refurbish F/RO's early chapters but by the time I reached Shadow Yukiko's fight, I decided to just rely on my own writing and the careful eye of my beta. Nameless is a cool guy but he has a bad track record on responding time which makes co-authoring more of a hassle. I think what he really needed was a break from his own work and try something else, which helping my story out did. We still discuss ideas from time to time but I'm mostly just on my own now.

Fate/Reach Out (Persona 4 crossover)
Precursors of Purity (Ni no Kuni crossover; two-shot)
<NEW FIC!> Revolution #9: Somewhere out there, there's a universe in which your mistakes and failures never happened, and all you wished for is true. How hard would you fight to make that real?

My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.
I had forgotten about this post, sorry for a way late reply.
I'm sure by now you found out that the translation has been picked up into Vol. 2 and we've had summaries of all the volumes now in the spoiler thread.
But there's a lot of crap to wade through and it's just summaries so yeah.
Just putting this here since I didn't see it on the Reccomendations.
Fate/Zero Sense by The Infamous Man
Link: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/8240891/1/Fate-Zero-Sense
Synopsis: In the Beginning of the Fourth Holy Grail War, seven Masters summoned their servants to fight. However, with the exception of one, six masters... didn't get quite what they were expecting... OR What would happen if everyone but Kitsurugu summoned a servant from an anime (or in Kirei's case, Deadpool.)
My Opinion: This fic is great. Combining two parts drama, two parts comedy, two parts seriousness and one part testosterone poisoning, Fate/Zero Sense is probably one of the more funnier ones out there. Not gonna spoil the servants that are summoned (Aside from Deadpool of course.) or anything else, but lets just say it's worth the read. Has a sequel in the works called Fate/Stay Away and a Carnival Phantasm variant called Carnival Frenzy.
EDIT: This forum needs a crossover index. @_@

here we go
Linger: Complete. August, 1995. I met him. A branch off Part 3. Mikiya keeps his promise to meet Azaka, and meets again with that mysterious girl he once found in the rain.
Shinkai: Set in the Edo period. DHO-centric. As mysterious figures gather in the city, a young woman unearths the dark secrets of the Asakami family.
The Dollkeeper: A Fate side-story. The memoirs of the last tuner of the Einzberns. A record of the end of a family.
Overcount 2030: Extra x Notes. A girl with no memories is found by a nameless soldier, and wakes up to a world of war.
A negative recommendation for Fate/Zero Sense.
It has a lot of flaws. Saber gets insulted, overpowered, and outfought by nearly every Servant that matters, transforming her into an increasingly inadequate yardstick to favorably compare the other Servants to; in particular, the author-favorites Kamina and Deadpool. Deadpool transforms Kirei from a compelling budding villain to a stock caricature (which bears its full unholy fruit in the sequel), while Kayneth is quickly disposed of with only a cursory attempt to avoid bashing (which fails).
Fate/Zero Sense aims for both drama and comedy, and truly shines at neither. For people unfamiliar with the source material, like I was when I first read it, it entertains. For all others, it is eye-rolling at best.
However, it is not Fate/Stay Away. In that respect, Fate/Zero Sense is commendable.
I think TIM went overboard with Kamina and Deadpool. Not that I've actually read the thing, but seeing Deadpool referenced literally everywhere was grating to my sensibilities.
