FRANXX is the ideal female body. That's the kind of female body that makes me fall in love

I must agree with this
Grancrest's pacing is pretty terrible and its animation is blah, but I kinda appreciate speeding past the boring standard hero fare and going straight for hero is actually aware of his shortcomings and also knows he's being pulled along and heroine that is ambitious and domineering without being a spiteful cliche.
I think I'm going to wait for Evergarden to fully release and then marathon it, feels like that kind of show to me.
Franxx isn't as fabulous as Star Driver, 4/10.
Slow Start has a slow second.

Is anybody here watching Killing Bites? It's gloriously trashy.
One of the girls appears to be pettanko, so there's your answer.

FF XIV: Walked to the End
Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
Then again, full transformation would mean complete nudity when reverting form.
So I watched the first episode of Darling In The FranXX this morning. Zero Two (I presume she's going to get an actual name eventually?) is an amazing heroine. Her reactions feel very genuine and not just like the usual anime caricatures. She's stoical without being emotionless, innocent without being childlike and undergirds it all with a uniquely feral playfulness. She's basically propelling the whole show by herself at this point.
They're called "Klaxosaurs" (And don't ask me what's going on with the show's naming sense. The title sounding like a borderline porno was bad enough...) and are pretty clearly robotic in design. Presumably their nature and origins are all going to be revealed somewhere down the line, maybe even tying them into who/whatever created the Franxx in the first place.
That reminds me, what the heck was the point of that scene with the scientist guy grabbing some girl's ass? You'd think that by the year of our lord 2018 anime could finally move beyond the "pervy old man" stereotype...
