I should reread the HP books now that there are ebooks out. I do own the originals, but you can't really stick Goblet of Fire in a purse.
I just finished reading The Moon is a Harsh Mistress. Science fiction classic. Written in 1966 and i've read sci-fi books from the 90s that were far more dated. Absolutely brilliant.
<NEW FIC!> Revolution #9: Somewhere out there, there's a universe in which your mistakes and failures never happened, and all you wished for is true. How hard would you fight to make that real?

Nofist?
Have you read Starship Troopers? It's definitely my favourite book by him, though... I guess it requires some kind of military background to get much out of it. Very evocative piece if you've got that kind of experience, though.

The OCS stuff in the middle was a bit hard to get through at times, but definitely a good read.
The Great Challenge of Our Time

I remember I tried reading it in middle school but couldnt appreciate it at the time because it had much less action than the movie.
The movie is a good Gulf War satire, but it's waaaay different than the book.

I want the book saber lion is reading. She seems to be having a good time.
Fate/Stay Night VN via Youtube all over again.
Because I want to.
I've been reading Battle Angel Alita: Last Order.
Caerula Sanguis is one sexy vampire lady.
I read the first series. Delightfully casual head-splitting violence. Would read again. how does last order stack up to the original?
I haven't read the original so I wouldn't know. It's good but it is also pretty dark. That's par for the course in the Battle Angel Alita series, from what I know. It introduces some interesting characters like Caerula, Toji, and Zekka. It also explains some more of the back story of the Alita verse, and how it became what it is.
I haven't finished it yet though.
why are you reading it backwards?

It's what I do man. It's what I do. I even read Romeo & Juliet backwards. A sad story about a couple who come back from the dead as zombies and break up. It made me cry.
Truthfully, it's Last Order that caught my interest first. I'll read the original... someday.
